Dua Lipa looked gorgeous in a figure-skimming Versace at the Grammys

Dua Lipa is so beautiful to me, and she looked incredible on the Grammys red carpet in this surprisingly good Versace look. She ditched the blonde hair and for her Grammys performance, she ditched most of her clothes. Dua picked up the Grammy for Pop Vocal Album for her hit album, Future Nostalgia too, but she lost in the other five categories in which she was nominated, including Album, Record and Song of the Year. I’m also including her performance, which… musically was fine. I love my girl Dua but choreography isn’t her thing and that’s FINE! Every pop star doesn’t need to be a “dancer.” I feel like she should just embrace it.

Haim wore coordinated custom Prada looks on the Grammy red carpet. Yeah… this looks like Prada, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. The only thing missing here? Weirdly puckered boob darts, a near-constant design choice of Prada looks.

Miranda Lambert wore Genny, in what was just a kind of basic, boring dress. She did arrive at the Grammys with her husband Brendan McLoughlin, and I remain shocked that they’re still together. She spent most of the time on the red carpet posing solo though. Hm!!

I think she looks cheesy and tacky…

  2. MCV says:

Dua was so robbed! Deserved AOTY and at least one of the three nominations she had for Don’t Start Now. She’s improved so much her charisma on stage, I really became a fan this past year.

    • LeBmanda says:

I agree. It seems unfair to make fun of her dancing when she’s come so far with her stage presence. She’s incredibly talented and, I assume, trying to meet all the expectations of a female POP star. Dancing and ridiculous skimpy outfits are expected, as unfair as it is. If she hadn’t tried to fill that mould, she may not be seeing the attention she’s finally getting. Her last albums we great but sadly the system will not reward singing and songwriting talent alone for a female pop star. I think shes’ doing an admirable job of navigating the messed-up system.

Miranda looks rally different to me, although I can’t put my finger on exactly what is different about her face. And her husband’s smiles looks very strained.

New teeth and mega contouring under her chin.

If I had to pose on a red carpet, my smile would look strained, too.

  4. Penguin says:

Dua looks Benny drama in drag w this look! Totally here for it

  5. Léna says:

I have plastic bags who look exactly like whatever Haim is wearing lol

  6. Levans says:

I find Dua Lipa so interesting looking. I’m drawn to her face and girl has some gams to boot! I like it.

You can tell the Haim girls are sisters…

Miranda, who I like for embracing her tacky, is very boobalicious but it’s a fine look.

  7. Dtab says:

Dua (who I absolutely adore too) is giving me total Cher vibes and I am here for all of it 🙂

  8. Darla says:

I love Haim’s music! I miss the hell out of Messy Miranda, but I have a feeling not for long! lol

  9. Ann says:

I’m getting Gaga, Emily Ratajkowski, and Emma Roberts all rolled into one and it is a beautiful combo. I hate the Versace look but her face and styling are gorgeous!

  10. Betsy says:

Dua’s dress is hiddy, but it does highlight her bangin’ bod, which I suspect was the point.

  11. Case says:

Dua Lipa is gorgeous. I never really paid much attention to her but wow. Stunning! I’m glad she didn’t win much last night, though…her music is like, dance/club music? And not really anything new or original? IDK. Doesn’t feel award-worthy to me, but she seems nice.

  12. Naddie says:

Aesthetically she looked perfect, but she has that soulless Kardashian thing going on. This caught my attention as much as her beauty itself.

  13. Crissytina says:

Dua, the copy cat store called and said, “Cher did it better.” Click.

  14. Heather says:

Dua looks beautiful – I cannot say I am a fan of the dress, but Cher vibes, yes! And her figure is stunning. I so love Haim’s music and they are attractive girls, but the Prada outfits are not flattering. Not the cut, color, fabric, nothing.

  15. Jessica says:

Haim’s entire look feels like they just wandered away from the Spahn Ranch.

  16. Grant Woodby says:

How can you say she can’t do choreo when her hairflip cracked the internet? Seriously, Gay Twitter LOST IT. She should have won AOTY and not Taylor, IMO. I listened to Folklore once in a bathtub and fell asleep. I still bop to Future Nostalgia. Loved her look too. It is very Paris Hilton/2004, but I feel like that’s the vibe at the Grammys. I mean, J. Lo’s iconic green Versace dress? Hello!

  17. Faye G says:

Dua may not be a pro dancer, but I really enjoyed her performance. It was fun and flashy, she really looks great and brought a sense of fun and lightness to the show. She and Bruno Mars really channeled the 70s and I am totally here for it!

  18. Mimi says:

I def got a Cher vibe and I absolutely loved it, I just recently discovered dua’s music (yes late to the party) and I really like her. I saw her dress and my first thought was she looked beautiful

  19. K says:

Future Nostalgia was a HELL of a pop record. I love it for workouts, dancing, and cleaning the house. She is stunning.

  20. Sammiches says:

Dua’s performance reminded me that I am super bisexual. She is ridiculously gorgeous.

  21. pupax says:

OK I am definitely old and grumpy, but what happened to wearing pants/skirts/some damn clothes!?
