I condemn the reprehensible violence and vitriol that has been targeted towards the Asian-American community. There is no doubt Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric fueled many of these attacks and I apologize for any past comments that aided that agenda.

That’s a decent apology by Meghan. I mean, she said what had to be said without “but” or “we should focus on” or “what I meant was.” Let’s see if she actually changes her main skew/tone which is still pretty off (defends GOP way too much) to me.
Many subreddits are not accessible today due to a protest against (Basically) reddit hiring someone who defends/loves with people who have abused kids, and then taking too drastic action against a mod of the UK politics sub for speaking about it. The reddit employee Formerly worked for 2 Uk parties if I’m not wrong.

John Oliver called out Meghan McCain prior to this PR apology, guessing she sees the writing on the wall ala Karen Osbourne’s soon to be ouster. Pro hate rhetoric has real world consequences and deserves to be called out.
This is it. There would have been no apology had she not been called out.
When are they going to cancel this show? It seems like since it’s inception, it has been riddled with accusations of a vile and hostile environment! It’s time to shut it down.

@Nan – you know, I was just wondering about what traditional European hairstyles were. I’m White and I thought, I think it’s so pretty when women of African descent wear hairstyles that honor their heritage and I should do the same for my heritage.
I am all thumbs when it comes to hair, however, so I’ll probably never learn what or how. Sorry, I know this is only tangential to your comment.
I can’t find the tweet now, but weeks ago I saw someone welcoming McCain’s hairstylist to the resistance.
She’s vile. But she bring in clicks and views to The View which is why she’s there.
I am so tired of people in the public eye spewing verbal diarrhoea, and then dishing up a half-arsed apology to try to salvage their brand or whatever. A couple of days ago, our prime minister did this. He was being asked about the toxic culture in Parliament House. What’s been going on there is absolutely disgusting. One reporter asked him an uncomfortable question. Instead of taking a moment to consider a response, he became defensive, pointing out that the reporter;s media company is also the subject of rape allegations. At the end, he said, “… be very careful.” I was stunned. Was that a threat? A warning? Then I thought that maybe it’s just me. But, no. People all over the place were reacting as I was. It was extremely bad form. Then, very late that night, he issues his apology. He is really under fire, and regardless of what he says or how he says it, this is not going away.
I know Khloe has a reputation for being a Class A doormat/klinger, but is Kourt also a bit of a khameleon in relationships? (sorry, I couldn’t resist using the ks). I don’t remember Kourt’s clothes being so punk before she hooked up with Travis Barker.
All of them do this. They morph into whomever they are dating. I’d say Kim is the most guilty of this. Kourtney used to have great street style (years ago)…not sure what happened.
RIP George Segal. He was such a great and underrated actor. No one has anything bad to say about him, so obviously he was a fabulous human being too. I hope TCM does a salute to him and to Yaphet Kotto.
