Poking someone you don’t know is extremely inappropriate. No wonder he was upset. You see he was gracious until she overstepped the boundaries. It doesn’t matter that he is a celebrity. You just don’t do that to strangers. She may have considered she did know him from having watched his movies, but it doesn’t work that way.

  2. Sassy says:

I wouldn’t want a stranger touching me either….it’s an invasion of your personal space….though he shouldn’t have been so tough with her…

  3. yadira says:

Oh my! Read that link on Aimee Louise Sword, that is awful. What is wrong with the world today? Some people should not be allowed around children. Sick!

  4. knotstu says:

anybody with a name Willis’ …. I’d feal sorry for anyhow but yes we do need our personal space.
That’s what choi bo is for.

  5. Zoe says:

Yeah, the Aimee Louise Sword case, totally disgusting and criminal. She should be locked up for life.

But honestly, I have to ask, why are they making SUCH a huge stink about this compared to the MILLIONS of cases of rape by fathers perpetrated on daughters? Did you hear that doctor? I’m sorry but, try FORCIBLE rape/sodomy from your own father. I don’t hear male doctors, or much of anybody ranting about how prevalent rape/molestation/murder is of girls EVERYDAY, WORLDWIDE.

That pitch, that outraged fervor of the doctor and the writer of the article should be there everyday, for ALL victims of these crimes.

I don’t know, this just got on my nerves.

Zoe, I agree, but it’s probably because female sex offenders are relatively rare statistically in comparison to their male counterparts, either because they are under-reported or otherwise. And also because people feel the maternal bond is *supposed* to be deeper or different than paternal, and people are often more shocked when a mother does anything to a child, it’s not the same reaction as a father (i’m not saying this is right).

I didn’t follow the video link, but the first thing I thought of when I saw this, is an article I read not too long ago on the CBC about genetic sexual attraction, some odd phenomenon that happens with mothers and the boys they adopted out, or siblings etc, upon reuniting. Verryyy f*cked up.

Albeit, the case studies it talked about, were all adults (still incest), but nonetheless VERY disturbing. Evidently, it is something that adoption agencies are trying to make themselves aware of, so that they can deal with it, before it leads to something like this.

No matter what the hell she was thinking, or how she may have normalized this in her mind…it’s still a sex offence. He was 15, which at least around these parts, makes it illegal.

  7. yae says:

Some people can’t stand being touched, some people express themselves through touch.

So in all fairness people who express themselves through touch should be able to yell “You didn’t HUG ME. Don’t you EVER NOT HUG ME!!”

Bruce, calm down. You’re too sexy to act like like a cactus.

  8. He's gross and old says:

That bald grandpa should be grateful anyone will poke him for free these days. Other than his cradle-robbed wife. Eww.

  9. yadira says:

Zoe, haven’t heard of that one. Horrible. This world makes me worry about my kids future.

I read this article the other day about baby Brianna Lopez. Horrible horrible story. I have been feeling so melancholic every since I read it. Makes me a hell of a lot more protective of my kids

  10. nan says:

Poking someone in my culture doesn’t mean a bad thing, infact it is a simbol of closeness and friendship.

  11. Firestarter says:

Why must people feel the need to poke and prod others? Do not touch, unless you know the person and it is for a reason. Otherwise, keep your mitts to yourself!

  12. Zoe says:

Yadira and Orion, thanks for the comments, great points.

I searched on Brianna Lopez and I am just gutted.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. WHY isn’t everyone screaming bloody murder about stuff like this. Where is that doctor from the video when sh*t like this happens daily the world over, almost exclusively to girls? Or did I just answer my own question?

  13. 4Real says:

    Hey looks gay now.

  14. Jag says:

I wonder if he has OCD and not being poked is part of it? Regardless, it’s not nice to poke strangers, especially strangers that are action-flick stars. lol
