Piers Morgan claims he’s been thanked ‘on behalf of several members’ of the Windsors

Celebrities at the ITV studios

I didn’t realize this, but Piers Morgan’s appearance on Fox News on Monday evening was the start of some kind of Zoom tour of American media outlets. I guess it’s just a matter of which American outlets will have him, but I’d just like to say on the record that I’m very disappointed in Billy Bush. Billy Bush was allowed to “come back” after his disgusting enabling of Donald Trump in the “grab ‘em by the p-ssy” video. Billy had to go away for a few years, but now he’s hosting Extra and he decided to speak to Piers. I thought Billy Bush promised to do better and be a better man? This is not the way. Anyway, this interview is notable because Piers Morgan now claims that “several members of the Royal Family” have “thanked” him for attacking the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Piers Morgan, DailyMail.com’s Editor-at-Large, has revealed he’s had messages on behalf of members of the Royal Family expressing ‘gratitude someone was standing up for them’ in the wake of Harry and Meghan’s Oprah Winfrey interview. Morgan made the admission in an interview with Extra’s Billy Bush, which is set to air Tuesday night, when he was asked if anyone from the Royal Family had reached out following the couple’s interview last month.

‘I’ve had some messages communicated to me on behalf on several members of the Royal Family,’ Morgan said. He would not reveal if it was senior members of the Royal Family who had communicated the messages.

‘I’m not going to go into who it was… but gratitude that somebody was standing up,’ he said.

Morgan left his British breakfast TV show, Good Morning Britain, back on March 9 over his on-air comments about Meghan Markle in the wake of the Oprah interview. He had said that he didn’t believe a word of Markle’s interview and slammed her for insinuating that the Royal Family was racist.

‘There’s been an attempt to cancel me. There’ve been many attempts like this before, and somehow I remain resolutely uncanceled,’ Morgan said. ‘In the end, I was required to apologize for disbelieving Meghan Markle, who I don’t believe – and I believe, which is ironic, that you should not believe somebody if you don’t want to,’ Morgan said of his departure from his show.

Asked by Bush what he was say to Markle now given the chance, Morgan said he would ask her to sit down for an interview so he could put some ‘difficult questions’ to her. ‘I would say to Meghan Markle, ‘Look… sit down with me with your husband for an equally long interview… and let me ask you more difficult questions about all your claims,’ Morgan said. ‘But let me ask you a wider question, which is this: If you hate the royal family that much, why do you keep your royal titles? Why would you do that if it’s just not to make millions and millions of dollars?’

[From The Daily Mail]

“I’m not going to go into who it was…” This is the same garden slug who “demanded” that Meghan and Harry reveal which senior royal asked about the baby’s skin color. Oh, how the turn tables. Now, there are many people – even royal commentators – who don’t even believe Piers, who think he’s just blowing smoke up his own ass. It could be the case. But I feel pretty certain that there are probably any number of high-ranking palace employees and even several royals who do think Piers is doing the right thing by obsessively stalking and harassing Meghan for years. This is the same man who paid Thomas Markle to read scripts – which Piers likely wrote – smearing Meghan on national airwaves.

Buckingham Palace refuses to comment one way or the other about royals passing along supportive messages to Piers Bloody Morgan. Huh. Weird!

Thought for a while now that Piers is The Other Brother’s proxy in the press. He says the things Prince Joffrey can’t.

    • Red Snapper says:

It was Lady Colin Campbell? But she called multiple times using different voices so he thinks it was more than one person.

    • PEARL GREY says:

The royals ALL have proxies that they use to carry out their biding in the press and have done for decades. Penny Junor is clearly for Charles for example. The national print and online publications spread their narratives and agendas out far and wide to control public opinion. Which is ironic, because the rat rota love to call Omid Meghan’s “pet”, when they are all pets themselves. None of these “journalists” would have had such free reign to spew and incite hatred against Meghan for all these years, going completely unchecked, if they didn’t have the explicit go-ahead from the palace. I have no doubt that royal figures have instructed Piers (and others) to use his platform and the Daily Heil to tarnish Meghan, and being the jilted stalker and fame whore that he is, he was more than happy to oblige. Of course they are happy with his work, but what are his motives for revealing this?

      • Carmen-JamRock says:

This is true that members of the BRF (we’re talking heirs and successors) have shills from among the CarnivalOfSoCallledExperts doing PR for them. I know this because we all can identify which one of the shills is shilling for which heir/successor.

Then early in M’s sojourn in the BRF (i:e before it fully dawned on them that Harry definitely wasnt gonna allow his wife to meet with them), I recall more than one of the shills blatantly offering their services to her.

      • Victoria says:

Yeah, I’m kind of sick of hearing about how the Royals are helpless against the courtiers who are the real power behind the throne.

I don’t doubt that there is some truth to that, but at the end of the day they are ALL in accordance with their Meghan HATE/BRING BACK OUR BOY rhetoric.

This symbiotic relationship is not based on the BRF being afraid of them, it’s based on the fact that they are SNOTTY NOSED, inbred freaks who want to keep their seat at the highest table.

Like, I am so over this bs. You have COUSBANDS for crying out loud! Deal with that nastiness first!

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

Piers is an unhinged disgrace. He has the press, the establishment and the monarchy behind him. Baldilocks is do far gone in his hate for his brother and Meghan, he’s allowed himself to be in the pockets of a very nasty man. Someone did a thread of all the women Piers has hounded throughout the decades including Diana. Uncorrupted investigative journalists and women’s rights groups need to stand up to him. He has MANY skeletons in his cupboard and I can’t wait for them to be revealed.

      • Babz says:

Yeah, I bookmarked that thread. I knew he was trash, but I had no idea how far back his reprehensible behavior went.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Elizabeth Regina & Babz, Keep your receipts close. I think you should put them out there on social media where ever P*ss M is interviewed. I want to make sure people know exactly who they’re dealing with and that they need to decide whether it’s worth it. I refuse to watch any of these BM people get interviewed–I won’t give the source any of my clicks or energy. I’m hoping that people don’t give Extra any views.

  2. Cecilia says:

Piers Morgan firing warning shots at the royals is not what i had on my bingo cards for 2021, but here we are.

Anyway, now that he put them on blast he will get his reward soon enough

    • Lemons says:

Yeah Piers is signaling that gratitude isn’t going to pay the bills.

    • Yvette says:

He’s also promoting a book. We can probably consider this his book tour.

    • Christina says:

Piers knows that advertising their approval makes them look bad to half the nation, but it is cheered by the rest. Subjects who support the Keens appreciate Meghan’s evisceration, and they think Piers’ message will appeal to Americans, and it will: to the racists. It’s the kind of pissing match that bullies keep up when they get taken down. Piers is their Oprah, but Piers is no Oprah. The racists believe his flurry of hate is a match for the classy Oprah interview. It will be: to racists.

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

He is using his privilege or else how could someone so corrupt and odious continue to be platformed and backed by the powerful elite? He obviously knows where all the bodies are buried.

  3. Harla says:

    #abolishthemonarchy

  4. Ladybug says:

So this happened, right? If it didn’t, it makes no sense why BM just didn’t say so.

    • Becks1 says:

That’s the only conclusion I can draw. If this isn’t true, BP would issue a denial.

    • SarahCS says:

It’s totally true. They are all in it together.

    • Cecilia says:

@ladybug. Its definitely true because Piers is a jerk, social climber and a liar but even he isn’t stupid enough to make a bold statement like this without having the proof to back it up. If this never happened, BP can just say that. But they can’t because it did happen and he still has those messages

      • Babz says:

Yep. He’s boxed the RF in. If they make it public who it was, they out themselves. If they deny outright, he drops the receipts. Bottom line – Harry and Meghan were right all along. And remember, if the RF stay quiet, it’s usually true. They only put out denials about extensions and botox.

    • My Two Cents says:

yup, totally gross. but it is Piers we’re talking about. We knew he couldn’t keep his mouth shut, he is always name dropping… it was only a matter of time before he let something slip.

    • Mac says:

Even if it is true BP should deny it because being associated with a racist troll is a bad look, especially after you have called out for being racist.

  5. Enny says:

Morgan’s relationship with the royal family is so symbiotic at this point, they have to keep eating the grubs off his back just to keep the holder of their worst secrets content. They’re all so gross.

    • josephine says:

He does not look well. I wonder what it’s like to be such a horrible, miserable, disgusting person, bitter person, so divorced from reality and anything good and decent. It must rot you from the inside out.

      • WithTheAmerican says:

He looks so puffy and bloated. Wondering if he is unwell. I mean, other than the obvious of him being clearly rotten inside.

      • Nyro says:

He looks like Elvis in his last years. All doughy, bloated, perpetually sweaty, etc.

      • Gabby says:

He is a prime candidate for a debilitating stroke.

    • Babz says:

It’s gone from being symbiotic to parasitic, with the RF as the host. They won’t be able to shake loose from this succubus any time soon.

  6. Nic919 says:

Considering Richard Palmer, Emily Andrews and many other RRs have said that the family was briefing against Harry and Meghan for a while now, this actually isn’t new information.

    • Kalana says:

      Dan Wooten as well.

    • Becks1 says:

This is true, most of the RRs at this point have admitted that they were briefing against H&M, but this feels especially gross, that the royals were thanking him for saying he didnt believe Meghan was suicidal.

      • Becks1 says:

Also, just pointing out that this is more specific than comments like Emily Andrews saying that the criticism is coming from the palace and she can’t ignore that or something. This is a very definite statement that he has been “thanked” “on behalf of” members of the royal family. It’s pretty specific, as these things go. I don’t think he would say this without proof.

      • Nic919 says:

I agree it is more specific, but it builds on what others have told us, thus confirming that what he has said is true.

I am more inclined to think he has proof from staff as opposed to family members. Jason Knauf being the prime candidate.

      • L4frimaire says:

This specific claim by Morgan is outrageous because she said she reached out to the palace HR that she was suffering, another royal reporter ( Valentine Low), mentioned that it was known she was in distress and knew about it, while they continued their attacks on her. Around the time of their return last March, there was a blurb in one of the tabloids that she was having panic attacks when she had events , so it seems to be that her mental health struggles were being leaked. That shows that Morgan is blatantly lying and just being a complete sh*t.

  7. Kalana says:

It absolutely happened with at least the tacit approval of the royals but probably more explicit through the courtiers. The only question is why is Piers being loose lipped about it.

I also wonder what deal William has struck with Rupert Murdoch to gain his support.

    • Becks1 says:

Right, that’s the interesting part, isn’t it? why is Morgan outing the royals like this? I’m sure it was from the courtiers like you say, since he said he was thanked “on behalf of” members of the royal family – I’m sure Charles didnt send him a text message himself. But why expose that relationship so blatantly? Why go out of your way to prove Harry’s point about the “invisible contract”?

      • Jais says:

Idk he seems to be feeling insecure after his diva walk off with Alex Bereford, who was praised for being so calm and cool. So he’s feeling less of a man and wants to show how supported he is, like even the RF supports him. He’s already claimed to have complete support from British public…which isn’t true obv. Sure a lotta support maybe but not complete omfg.
While all that’s true, I do wonder about a bigger strategy of why he’s explicitly outting the “invisible contract.” Is it a warning? Blackmail for a new high paying job? Lol

      • Myra says:

Because he has a massive ego. People are calling him a deranged, obsessive stalker and he wants us to know that every Brit supports him (which is laughable) and that even the royal family has thanked him.

      • Becks1 says:

@Myra I’m sure that’s a HUGE part of it right now. He’s an ahole but not necessarily dumb, you know? He knows that his reputation has taken a hit because people see him attacking the mental health of a pregnant woman, AGAIN. I’m sure he thinks this gets him back some credibility – “I was defending the royals and they THANKED ME for it!”

Still, I’m sure people in BP and CH and KP are not happy with him this morning, lol.

      • Bex says:

He’s outing it because he likes the attention a revelation like this brings. He also gets off on being viewed as “in the know”.

This is a man who created a whole friendship because Meghan sent him episode screeners for Suits, and went into overdrive because he saw HER as a chance to get access. To the wedding. To interviews. To everything.

This man went to a Suits press event and has milked that one instance for all it’s worth.

      • February-Pisces says:

I think piers may act like a crazed lunatic, but he’s not stupid. Everything he’s done is carefully calculated. He would have never ‘outed’ the royal mafia without a reason. I think it could be a warning shot. He has been working with them during his sanctioned smears of Meghan. He’s lost his job as a result and unless he’s compensated, then I’m not sure what will happen. But the palaces silence when asked for a comment speaks volumes. They don’t want to piss piers off. No doubt they will come to some sort of arrangement.

    • TigerMcQueen says:

I think PM is being loosed lipped because he doesn’t have self control, especially when it comes to the subject of Meghan. He wants Meghan and anyone who supports her to know the RF has sent messages of support to him. He really really really wants her to have that knowledge. So he let it out without necessarily thinking strategically about it, IMO.

Do I think he’s exaggerating? Yes. I don’t know if Duke Keen (who is the most likely suspect for support) had someone pass on ‘thanks’ through a courtier or if someone more loosely connected said something along the lines of ‘I’m sure they’d thank you for this’ without actually being asked to do so.

That, and he wants his book to sell.

    • Cecilia says:

@Kalana because he wants something from the royals. I suspect that Piers very much had a tit for tat relationship with the BRF. Harassing Meghan was the tit, now he want the tat in return. I think he was firing warning shots. “If you don’t get me what i want i will expose you”

      • Babz says:

I also think that this has been his audition reel for Murdoch’s Fox-like network he’s supposed to be starting in the UK. This slimeball would be a perfect for that outfit.

    • Nyro says:

I think his career is pretty much over and he knows it. I don’t even think that new Fox News inspired cable channel that supposed to be launching soon in Britain wants him. Trump is out of office and no longer takes his calls. He’s done in America because of his implosion at CNN, both for how he tanked in the ratings and also because of the sexual harassment allegations against him. He’s ruined what little bit of a career he had left (going from the iconic Larry King spot on American CNN to cohosting Good Morning Britain is a huge step down) and now the only time he can get on tv or a writing gig is if he’s verbally abusing Meghan. I think he’s pissed that he did their dirty work and is now ruined for it. If he’s going down he’s letting them know he’s going to take them with him.

      • Greywacke says:

I’m not sure I would have entirely agreed with you (though I would have loved to) on this point until the Fox News interview. Seems like a total non event in the end. Perhaps that is why Piers dropped this bomb, but even this is not getting the coverage one would expect.

  8. Darla says:

This is an old trick, and quite a slimy one. I’d think 1000 times before I believe anything like this coming from this troll. I’ve even been in situations where a isht-stirrer would claim to have received emails from friends of mine telling them that I was in the wrong. This goes on in families, in large friends groups, and definitely in professional settings. It’s trolling and it causes mistrust in the opposing side, or for someone you don’t like.

I don’t believe it. I’ve seen so much of this, it’s never been true.

  9. Lauren says:

PM has dirt on someone if not on all of them. That’s my take on why they don’t want to issue a denial, either they sent the messages confirming what Harry and Meghan have been saying about the tacit invisible contract, or no message was sent and PM is publicly outed as a liar. At this point they did send the messages, but didn’t know that PM would say declare it to the world and thus better not say anything.

    • Sure says:

Agreed! Either he has texts/emails to prove his claim and/or he has dirt on a family member (Andrew?) which he will release should the family contradict his statements. If the BRF thought they were unfairly portrayed in the Oprah interview then they must now realise that PM’S intervention has only served to validate all that was revealed by H & M. That so called family is beyond evil.

  10. fluffy says:

So, he has been thanked…well how special for this pasty faced, inbred, island bound, tiara worshiping , mother f%&ker.

  11. JT says:

The royals are over here acting like they are underdogs, while they control the entire British press. It’s interesting how they are refusing to comment on this….it’s true right? They explain when they don’t need to and remain silent when they shouldn’t. And if it’s not, many people think it is and it’s not a good look. It just confirms what H&M were saying, that the firm is smearing them.

    • FC says:

H&M need to drop all their receipts NOW. The Palace’s refusal to deny that they are speaking with and condoning this POS proves they have chosen their path and there is no way back.

  12. Osty says:

The royals continue to proof Meghan right in their haste to prove her wrong . I can’t wait for desperate, pathetic stalker piers to turn on them like he did Diana when she stopped giving him exclusive.
But most importantly only idiots will look at how piers is milking a hr meet as something more for 4 yrs and thought it was a good idea to work with him.
Look at him throwing them under the bus cos his pathetic racist whining didn’t get him the response he thought he will get

    • Becks1 says:

Hell forget Diana, look at how Piers turned on Meghan. He’s so deranged about her now, but he was a fan before she….I dont know, refused to get a drink with him or didnt invite him to the wedding or whatever it was that triggered him. Imagine if he starts spending hours a week bashing Kate.

      • Nina says:

He was part of the press junket when Meghan was promoting Suits. Why would she invite him to her wedding. He is a creepy old man obsessed with a young woman. Ewww.

  13. pottymouth pup says:

If he’s been thanked by the royals, his announcing that completely undermines every complaint they and their supporters have about Meghan & Harry doing an interview, and even confirming the calls between Harry & William/Charles to Gayle King.

His announcement of that is also an admission that there are WIndsors who are overtly racist – he complained that Harry & Meghan will not announce who raised the concerns about the color of their [then] future offspring so it’s very telling that he will not list the members of the royal family who thanked him

  14. Pétulia says:

Based on what he said there was definitely exchanges between him and high level staff/employees but of which palaces ?

  15. Myra says:

I, for one, believe him. What was it that the tabloids once said? The Palace cannot deny things that are true? Of course, they thanked him.

My own guess is that Charles gave the point-by-point rebuttal list to Piers after the queen ordered a stand-down. They thanked Piers afterwards once they saw Brits calling Meghan a liar. Alas, his big mouth just reinforced the point that Meghan was telling the truth. They shouldn’t have used big-ego Piers, but they needed someone with a large following.

    • equality says:

Meghan said they would lie for other royals but Piers may have some sort of proof. Or the Queen is refusing to reply because she doesn’t believe it since the communications came from CH or KP and she is in the dark.

      • Myra says:

She can’t deny it because she knows that her imbecile son and idiotic grandson would actually do something stupid like that.

      • JT says:

@Myra this a good point. Willgis Khan probably went rogue again thanking PM and got the palace into some more shit just like the half cocked bullying claims. I guess BP is just going to let this ride, which is dumb, but it is the palace.

    • Nic919 says:

I don’t see Charles talking to PM because he was one of the main victims of the phone hacking that Morgan was heavily involved in. He would use other people to act on his behalf, like Jobson.

I do think that Jason Knauf has dealt with PM directly. He’s been heavily involved in most of the press attacks against Meghan.

      • Myra says:

Sometimes you join together with someone you actually dislike to take down a common enemy. I believe there is a picture out there of Charles and Piers shaking hands (taken within the last two or three years). Whatever animosity was there before, it might have long been forgiven. So I’m not discounting him and it sounds like something he would do, too.

      • Lowrider says:

Charles is a coward, a user and abuser. It was proven he briefed against Harry in the past. And doesn’t care about Harrys current security concerns.

Charles would definitely use Piers to do his bidding. He’s a jealous snake.

  16. GuestWho says:

Soooo…when is the crisis manager supposed to start? May? That’s a whole lot of time for the RF to flounder.

    • My Two Cents says:

that’s what I was thinking, they kinda need them pronto!! these fools on their own will burn down the monarchy until May.

      • BothSidesNow says:

They truly do!! With these daily failing PR stunts these past 2 weeks, I would think they would lay low and let the smoke clear. But instead they are plastering the RRoaches into creating this onslaught of heavy handed PR crap to reinforce their necessity to the British taxpayers. And we all know that many POC on Salty Island came out in support of Meghan as they see and experience the same types of racism that Meghan did.
I loved the line where he stated that conduct a hard-hitting interview with Harry and Meghan, as if they would give him the time of day…

  17. lanne says:

This is vile. Vile, vile, vile. Those Fing racists can stand back and watch Meghan get bullied to near suicide and say nothing? These Fing racists protect Pedo Andy and go after the only non white member of the BF for EXISTING?

Piers Morgan’s bully campaign would have gotten him fired from any real corporation for harrassment. Shut the FUCK UP Cambridges about mental health. YOU HAVE NO STANDING TO TALK!

The RF is a reflection of Brexit UK. They ought to live and die with the Brexiteers and the MAGAts around the world who agree with them. The Royal Family stands for racism. The royal family stands for bullying. The royal family stands for sexism. The royal family stands for entitled nepotism. The royal family stands for White Male Supremacy and while male mediocrity. They royal family stands for personal entitlement.

This is who they are. We should all believe them.

  18. Jais says:

Hmm messages, so more than one family member being ever so grateful to this disgusting disgusting person. They are terrible people.

  19. Christine says:

The Queen thanked him I hope.

  20. Chill says:

Please keep this up. The monarchy is in trouble. They need to have shit like this going down on the regular. This shows just who they are.

  21. equality says:

Piers’ obsession with Meghan seems to be leading to a breakdown. Let him continue his tour of media. In the process he might reveal even more information during his ravings. And where did M&H say anything at all about hating anyone? H has said more than once that he loves Will and said he is working things out with his dad. They both said the Queen and Philip had been welcoming and okay with Meghan. M described Kate as a good person and urged people not to choose sides. I bet Piers wouldn’t agree to a both sides interview where HE got asked hard questions to explain his hate.

  22. MsIam says:

Interesting that he said “Thanked on behalf of several members of the Royal Family”. Not just by ” palace officials “. This is throwing the actual family under the bus. Good, I hope it hurts.

    • WithTheAmerican says:

I hope outlets run with his claim, which I notice he expects to be taken as true whereas anything Meghan claims he expects to be taken as a lie.

If they run with his throwing the royals under the bus like this, it’s a twofer. They’re eating their own.

  23. Amelie says:

I don’t think it’s true but I think they agree with him and have no issue with anything he’s done. They’d rather people think they did privately express their support than not.

It’s all very disgusting. Just shows Harry was right in getting them away from that toxic family.

  24. HK9 says:

Sooo, where are those crisis PR people, because if there’s no denial that this did not happen it spells disaster. They better get working. And one more thing, if this is true, it not only means that what Harry & Megan said in the interview is not only true but the actual situation is 10 times worse than reported.

    • JT says:

I wouldn’t even want to come on at this point if I was one of the new hires. The palace PR is completely shambolic right now and these fools continue to make the absolute dumbest decisions. No wonder they had to get comms people from the NHS instead of an actual PR firm with actual professionals. Like some here said yesterday, this month could’ve been golden for them with W&K’s anniversary, the queen’s birthday, and possibly one of the kids. But look what they are talking about: Will Jung Un, Keen Guevara, and Puss Morgan. My goodness they suck at this.

  25. Merricat says:

The implication that human excrement Morgan in any way speaks for the monarchy is hugely damaging to its reputation.

  26. Islandgirl says:

I believe him and that says everything about the BRF and their relationship with the tabloids and the most toxic of personalities.
Wow….I actually now fear for Meghan and Harry because I do believe that the stand down that the queen ordered is being ignored.
I didn’t want them to continue a back and forth but maybe they will have to release some receipts.

  27. Cessily says:

Of course, just proves that the racist royals are a real thing.

  28. Sofia says:

I would say “I don’t believe him” because this is Piers and he loves to exaggerate but BP’s refusal at a denial makes me think /some/ contact did happen and there’s also proof (through emails/texts).

Robert Jobson said he doubts it but he’s another slimey rota member so who knows if /he’s/ telling the truth?

    • HeatherC says:

Robert Jobson may just be jealous that he hasn’t gotten thanked for his role in everything.

  29. ABritGuest says:

I can see friends of the royals like Joanna Lumley& Alan Titchmarsh who work in media passing on their thanks. Or ex British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman who seems to be friends with Jason knauf.

Do I think he’s heard direct from the palace? No he’s a liar. But I think he’s well aware that media bosses & people like him were given free reign by the firm to trash Meghan. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there was a link between Jason (Thomas Markle’s handler at the palace), Thomas & Piers given that most of his interviews were with GMB& the Fail & the firm knew Piers was thirsty& had a grudge. It’s possible he has receipts about the firm’s briefings against Meghan & that’s why he knows the firm can’t rebuff this claim.

Now he’s trying to hustle for a new job & promote his book, he’s using this claim for more attention & legitimacy & possibly calling in favours.

Anyway if his claim is true just proves the Sussexes right on the firm’s relationship with the media & the firm peddling falsehoods in the media. Also typically hypocritical that Piers is keeping the people he claims have thanked him anonymous whilst asking Meghan to name names.

    • L4frimaire says:

Why would anyone want to hire him after this.? The only thing he has to offer is Meghan Markle insults. The man walked off set and refused to apologize. Apparently, when he was fired for staging fake photos if UK troops abusing Iraqi prisoners , he refused to apologize for that too. This man has. predictable, destructive pattern. Any US network that hires him batter have lawyers on speed dial ready for lawsuits. He’s a liability.

  30. S808 says:

I already believed he had been deployed by the RF or at least approved. Thanks for the confirmation!

  31. Bryn says:

I think the royals are that awful that they would thank him, but I also think piers Morgan is a huge pile of sh!t and I really don’t believe anything he says honestly.

  32. Amy Bee says:

We got the root of some of Piers Morgan’s animosity towards Meghan, he wants to do an interview with her and Harry but they refuse to even acknowledge him.

As for his comments about support from the Royal Family, although he’s a major liar, the fact that BP didn’t want to respond to his allegations means that he’s telling the truth. I believe Jason Knauf was the one who set up the interviews between Morgan and Meghan’s father.

  33. Ginger says:

We all knew this. There is no way Piers would have gotten away with speaking of Kate or Sophie the same way. It definitely came from the RF.

Robert Jobson was sharing articles of Piers being on Tucker’s show and other articles of Piers but when this came out he was denying it. The other RR’s must be freaked right now. Piers just proved Meghan and Harry right.

  34. HeatherC says:

I almost want to start hashtagging 1776 but for a completely different reason than the insurrectionists. This sh!tshow is NOT my unelected head of state, thank you Revolutionary War. By not denying it or issuing any sort of statement they’re saying yep we did indeed endorse if not give guidelines for the bullying and harassment of our “dear” grandson and wife. Good luck my British and Commonwealth friends.

    • Shoshone says:

Don’t worry, you can hashtag 1812. That’s the war that sent the royal family packing forever. Great Britain was approaching the zenith of their worldwide power and the former colony managed to run them off again. Not a good look for Great Britain so they left us alone after that.

  35. Mina_Esq says:

Isn’t he the one that is insisting that Harry name names? Well, PM, name names!

  36. aquarius64 says:

Pus has not only thrown the BRF but the rota rats under the bus. I looked on Omid Scobie’s Twitter and many are coming to the same conclusion: the Sussexes’ smear campaign was and is palace(s) sanctioned. How do these idiots think this is a good look outside the UK?!

  37. Lowrider says:

So many of the deranged Meghan haters believe everything Piers says about Meghan but they don’t believe him when he states royal members are thanking him? Why?

It’s very obvious from the beginning he has the support and encouragement of the BRF.

  38. Agreatreckoning says:

So did William, who is salty about Harry confirming a phone conversation, approve this leak? Of course. The palace plays the no comment card when it suits their purpose. It really does show how dumb the palace’s PR game is if their allowing Pis Morgan to appear as their savior.

  39. Mich says:

Who is most likely to be in contact with Meghan’s stalker? Jason? Uncle Gary? I definitely think it is someone connected to KP.

  40. boyd says:

Piers and the UK tabloids seem intent on destroying 2 families for profit..

  41. February-Pisces says:

We always talk about how piers is a deranged stalker towards Meghan, which he is. But we never discuss his relationship with the royals and the fact that there is clearly something shady going on between them and piers. I personally think he struck a deal with the royals a couple of years ago, where he will trash Meghan to hell and embiggen them in the process, and they will protect him regarding phone hacking. He did hack several royals, and yet he’s free to walk the streets where others have served jail time. I think if he did a really REALLY good job trashing Meghan, there would have been some sort of honour in it for him too.

No he’s been sacked and looking for a job, he’s kinda failed in his mission set by the firm. He left looking like a deranged lunatic and they can’t honour him now. I think the relationship between the royals and piers will be compromised if piers doesn’t get what he was promised. Piers essentially lost his job and “reputation”(lol) because of the royals and the dirty work he was doing for them. I think this was a warning shot. Omid tweeted that the palaces ‘refused’ to comment which is basically an admission of guilt.

But I’m glad this is out there cos how can keen stans deny the smear campaign now.

    • HeatherC says:

Sadly I’m already seeing on Twitter that they are fully leaning in on everything. Of course the palace(s) can’t issue a statement because they did express gratitude to him for “telling the truth” about Meghan. These are the same people that believe “only” Meghan’s “Side” of things has been told, that the palace(s) are stoic and classy and the white Markles are bullied by Meghan’s paid PR. Piers Morgan is becoming a folk hero to them.

  42. boyd says:

He just started a major fire claiming the BRF said this..
    1. I 100% believe he is lying. I think he’s interviewing for s job at Fox News.
    2. if he is not people are going to demand the COWARD reveal himself. And the BRF just hitched its wagon up to the guy who was fired for Phone Hacking and Fake Prisoner of war photos…
BTW: Andrew Morton said some of what Meghan said was same as Diana comments, You are trapped in the Palace.

    • Ginger says:

I really keep going back to a lot of what Diana said and just how true it was. She said they were nice to her as a girlfriend and a fiancé but once she married in they were cruel. Harry said Meghan got along with them very easily in the beginning. This is why Harry said his family was like the family she never had.
The Press wanted to paint Diana as crazy but she was right.

  43. Scorpion says:

As a Brit and innocent bystander to this drama, of course the RF are in touch with Piss, think about it, look how hard he went after Meghan.

  44. Water Bearer 💧 says:

I believe him and he’s double down on this. According to Omid the royals will not be commenting but that was before Piers double down on his claims.

How the royals can think this is a good look on their part and we know they are more concerned about how things look and keeping up appearances. Do they want to be associated with a guy that has accused a “much loved member” of the family of lying about wanting to end her life? A vile little person who has used their massive platform to attack and abuse Meghan for years. It’s gross thinking about it. That the royals have been sending him messages of support. Yes. I am shocked but not surprised.

He’s a disgusting little man whose career has now been reduced to slagging off the Sussexes for clicks and attention. I am embarrassed for him.

  45. NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Oh, hahahahahaha! In his eternal and insatiable quest for self-righteous self-aggrandizement, he has essentially dealt a mortal blow to the BRF, and fully supported H&M’s assertions.

    Good job, you bloated blowhard.

    • Jane Doe says:

This exactly. These “royals” are daft if they didn’t think Piers Morgan would blab about his association with them at first opportunity. They’ll tear each other down, it’s how the world works. Eventually what you do comes back to you in some way.

  46. girl_ninja says:

He looks quite unwell. A bloated sweaty mess “running” around to any media outlet that will hear him spew his misogynistic, racist ramblings.

What an awful disgrace of a human.

  47. Harper says:

This all makes sense now how Piers’ wife stands by him despite his utterly unhinged unhealthy obsession with Meghan. He has trashed Meghan continuously for that nod and a wink from the palace. I can’t see this as Charles’ doing; all fingers point to Will as the one passing on the gratitude as he needed the focus on Meghan instead of on Rose for the past two years. I bet every phone call from Piers’ office gets a comment from KP. Also, there’s an article in the Fail today that William has cut ties with Tom Bradby over siding with Harry.

There was a tip on deux moi this morning that Piers’ claim that he is being thanked by the palace is untrue and that no one from any royal source is commenting right now on the Sussexes. I don’t believe the first part as I do think Piers has HAD tacit approval from the palace to go after Meghan. I do believe that after the Gayle King statement that the talks were unproductive, the palace has slammed on the brakes re: the Sussexes because Harry spelled out exactly what receipts would be dropped. However, none of this means that they are going to be able to stop Prince Incandescent from triggering Harry anyway, and soon.

    • zinjazin says:

I think it will eventually come to light that it is Carole who is behind a lot of the smears and briefings with Williams aproval. JMO.

  48. nutella toast says:

    So….Princess Michael and Zara? LOL.

  49. Keri says:

I am ready with🍿. He has receipts. None of the palaces will publicly deny this or he’ll drop the emails/correspondence. I am loving the fact that all the Meghan & Harry haters & Royalists are floundering. They just got proof of what Harry & Meghan said about the invisible contract. They won’t admit it, but deep down, they know it’s all true & it kills them because now, everyone knows it.

  50. Robin says:

This man is a walking falsehood. The Guardian’s Alan Rusbridger wrote a brilliant article last year about the push behind much of PM’s Meghan hatred. “There’s a reason why the royals are demonised but you won’t read all about it” It details Harry and Meghan’s charges against PM’s publications and explains some of his obsession.

  51. A says:

Poor poor Piers Morgan. All that trouble he’s going through to get cancelled by the woke brigade, but no one will do it for him. He ended up having to do it himself by walking off the set dramatically. Every media platform he’s wanted to speak on has given him an opportunity to do so, or we would have heard abt it. He’s had reporters turn up at his house with mics, eager to give him a chance to speak. But none of that is what he wanted. Piers Morgan wanted to be shut down and dragged off the set of GMB, against his will. That would have given him the righteous fury to fuel a 100 media empires to rival the Murdoch’s on the outrage it would generate alone. But so far, nothing. Not even a blip. How sad.

If we’re taking bets on who was the member of the RF who expressed gratitude to Piers, I’m putting my money on Charles. I think he was relieved, not bc he agreed with Piers, but bc he wanted to counter the narrative somehow, and felt grateful that Piers was the attack dog who could do it for him.

  52. lanne says:

After the “Framing Britney” documentary, we are having a more nuanced look at how girls and women in the public eye are built up, placed on pedestals, then smacked down unceremoniously and held to public ridicule. We have seen this play out over and over and over again. We are having meaningful conversations about what it means to be a woman in the public eye, and how women are used as proxies for all kinds of social expectations of women’s appearance, sex appeal, attitude, and success.

Within this context, there’s a major story ready to be written about men’s entitlement to women’s attention and affection. Women are taught that men’s desire for their attention is more important than their own lack of desire for that attention. We have recognized that this attitude is damaging and wrong, and in the effort to create more inclusive and safe workplaces for women (and public spaces in general), we have to begin with the premise that no man is entitled to any woman’s time, attention, or affection. A non-toxic workplace, or public space, cannot be had if men are free to believe that they are entitled to attention from any woman they desire.

Piers Morgans one-sided obsession with Meghan Markle is one of, if not the most, egregious example of this entitlement in the public sphere. There isn’t a single workplace in the US where a man could demand the attention of another woman so openly and with such toxic entitlement without any kind of sanction. Any company where this happened would be subject to major liability. And while Meghan is not an employee, this Piers Morgan obsession with her is incendiary and dangerous. I saw a tweet: “Meghan Markle won’t see your denial of her mental health issues, but your suicidal friend will.” This attitude of Piers is unconscionable, and once again, I fear it is only accepted in the UK due to serious misogynoir.
Meghan’s mental health doesn’t matter–that’s the ultimate conclusion that can be drawn from this sanctioned bullying campaign. I don’t think it would have happened to Fergie. I remember Fergie’s bullying, and it wasn’t as bad as Meghan’s. The fact that it is Palace sanctioned is simply shameful.

This makes me feel so sorry for WOC living in the UK–I find all of this triggering over here in the USA. To see a WOC so devalued by the very people who were supposed to be her family is heartwrenching. The US is no post-racial paradise, but at least we see push back to the tabloid narrative here, and we have POC in places of power to counteract this narrative. I’m trying to imagine how I would feel if I were a student at St Andrews now instead of back in the 1990s. I received the fellowship from the university about this time years ago: would I have accepted the fellowship? I probably wouldn’t have: this whole smear campaign would leave me wondering how I would be treated as a black woman living in a small town in Scotland. I would say hell no to the UK and take an opportunity someplace else, to be honest.

    • Greywacke says:

I always appreciate your thoughtful and well written comments, Ianne. You are a great contributor and Celebitchy is lucky to have you as part of its commenting community.

  53. L4frimaire says:

Piers is a messy bitch currently without a tv job, and wants his spotlight back. He’ll go on any show to spout his bile and has basically confirmed what the Sussexes said about the royals bargain with the press. Now we’re hearing William is ghosting reporter Tom Bradby because he doesn’t hate Harry. The RRs are denying that what Morgan said is true ( wink, wink), and the palace has nothing to say. Interesting how he keeps attacking and abusing Meghan while begging for an interview. Apparently he’s done this before with other celebrities, like Gaga and Ariana Grande. Abuse and harangue them in the press, call them liars, until they capitulate to an interview. Will he be conducting this never happening interview from his basement dungeon since he no longer has a job. This loser and desperate bully is who the royals want as their champion and spokesman. The whole thing is desperate.

    • aquarius64 says:

I read this creep pulled this on Diana. Trashed her to make her agree to an interview. She agreed and Pus still dragged her. Harry probably told Meghan what he did and THAT why she ghosted him.

That bout of verbal diarrhea on Tucker’s show didn’t get major play on US national televised media and that has to sour him. PM is spiralling and the rotten rota is afraid he will take them down with him. He’s got the BRF by the short hairs to get exclusives. The Sussexes have no incentive to patch things up with the Windors . The BRF will leak tea by the gallon to the Emperor of Yellow Journalism to not expose their secrets. Dollar bet he squeezes a knighthood from the queen. PM probably has proof Bad Dad faked the heart attack and was paid to testify against Meghan in the lawsuit. TT is not getting paid by the tabloids; his tacky clothes when he went to Oprah’s proves it.

I hope Bradby comes to the US and spills all and blows everyone up.

  54. Midge says:

Piers was in a Twitter spat with the creator of The Wire. This little gem made me giggle:

To Piers: “ “Sorkin is swell and has gigs,” Simon responded. “I’m still working for Time Warner after a quarter century. You’re unemployed and if it was a Tijuana cathouse and you had a fistful of fifties, you still couldn’t get laid at TW or anywhere else over here. Not after that pratfall you did at CNN.” 😂

  55. SenseOfTheAbsurd says:

“The lurkers support me in Email”

  56. iconoclast59 says:

I’m surprised the other royal houses of Europe haven’t staged an intervention by now. The BRF’s behavior is so toxic, so damaging that it threatens the royal and peerage systems worldwide. They’re going to bring the royal gravy train to a screeching halt for EVERYONE.

  57. Emily_C says:

He’s a Frollo and a liar. I can believe some gross royal told him thanks through courtiers, but I can also believe the opposite, as he is a liar, so I’m not going to put any more thought into it.

  58. Beech says:

@Abritguest, Joanna Lumley, AbFab J. Lumley?!

    • ABritGuest says:

Yeah she’s apparently friends with Prince Charles & was on a tv show talking about how she wouldn’t be watching the Oprah interview & how awful the whole thing was. I can imagine that’s the type of person who may have said thanks for standing up to the royal family to Piers& as usual he’s exaggerating & pretending it’s on behalf of members of the firm.

I’d like to think the royals aren’t dumb enough to have shown support to Piers unless someone wants to blatantly hurt the Sussexes & say we are siding with one of your worst critics. He was outside Kensington palace today & took a picture. I personally think he’s desperate & trolling. But because he knows the firm’s role in operation take down Meghan- he knows the firm can’t really counter his thanks claim. Messy…

      • aquarius64 says:

Pus has the Crown by the jewels if he is outside KP. All roads lead to House Cambridge.

    • February-Pisces says:

I watched the show that Joanna lumley was on, and she actually didn’t say anything bad about harry and Meghan. She kept her answer as neutral as she could and tried to avoid taking a side. She basically said it was a shame and hates to see family’s fall out and that she wouldn’t watch it.

She said that she has met the royals a number of times at events, but didn’t know them personally.

I saw how it was twisted in the daily mail, they basically said that lumley ‘trashed harry and Meghan’, but she didn’t really at all, she didn’t really say anything good or bad about any of them, it’s just the media twisting people’s words.

  59. blunt talker says:

Piers Morgan, the shitstain, is looking for a knighthood I have read in several articles -a lot of people on twitter said this what he is looking for along with a cushy job from FOX-He has definitely put them on blast-He could use his receipts to blackmail the royal family forever-There is no mistaking where the royal family stands as it relates to the Sussexes and Prince Andrew-Harry was right about the invisible contract between the media and the royals in the UK-Meghan found it odd that a party was given to tabloids at one of the palaces-the royal family has the entire British media in its pockets and they do their bidding-I don’t think God will be having mercy on their souls.

  60. Keri says:

The brf deserve every piece of this. It is only a matter of time before they’re fully undressed in front of the whole world and I’m here for all of it. I’m bringing the samosas. Who’s doing drinks?
