Wootton: The Cambridges will stay together ‘as long as they are both alive’

Royal visit to Durham

What in God’s name is happening in House Keen? People are being very weird these days! Dan Wootton has another creepy, unsettling, overly familiar column in the Daily Mail. The purpose of the column is to embiggen the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for… staying married and smiling, basically. Personally, it seems like Will and Kate are celebrating their tenth anniversary through gritted teeth, separate homes and rose-bush pruning, but clearly I’m in a minority on this issue. You can read the entire creepy AF Wootton column here. Some highlights:

The Keens are the only way the monarchy will survive: After ten years of marriage, Prince William and Catherine (as she prefers to be known formally, although I still can’t get used to that) clearly represent the Royal Family’s best chance of survival.

‘Til death do them part: “Sure, it hasn’t been easy and there have been significant bumps in the road, but I now truly believe they will break the royal marriage curse and stay together for as long as they are both alive.

William and Kate are more confident in their role. They have a plan, they’re going to stick to it and by God they’re going to have some fun along the way. That was illustrated perfectly by their engagement on a farm in Durham earlier this week, where Wills laughed his head off affectionately when Kate missed the golf ball while taking a swing…That’s what the modern monarchy needs to be about. It’s not actually difficult to be a royal, you know. Just show up, be nice and don’t make it all about you.

Meghan & Harry are glum: What a contrast they are with the Duke and Duchess of Glum, who decided early on that a life of royal engagements supporting charities up and down the UK was below them. I certainly can’t imagine Meghan mucking around with golf clubs on a bitter North East day in the cold. William and Kate live their life in stark contrast to Harry and Meghan, who love to talk a lot about happiness and contentment while actually looking and acting miserably most of the time.

Wootton thinks the *American* media is savage? In the UK you just won’t see any paparazzi photographs of the Cambridge children during their day to day life. What a shock to the system that will be for Harry and Meghan who will have to get a handle on the notoriously ruthless American media, which operates without many of the state-sanctioned controls and self-imposed restraint on the part of the press that royals benefit from in Britain.

[From The Daily Mail]

The British media has been getting their pound of flesh from the Cambridges quite consistently in recent years, and Will and Kate have been forced to trot out their kids regularly, in public situations. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan didn’t want to have a public christening for Archie and the British media had a f–king meltdown about it for MONTHS. Nevermind the fact that in America, the Sussexes get to largely dictate the terms of their media access, minus some paparazzi photos here and there. But anyway, as I said earlier, it speaks VOLUMES that Will and Kate can’t even be the headliners on their own anniversary. It isn’t “Will and Kate are fine, everything’s fine.” It’s “Will and Kate are BETTER than Harry and Meghan because reasons!!” It’s insane.

Also: “stay together for as long as they are both alive” sounds threatening, ominous and awful.

  1. Haylie says:

Charles and Di were together for 11 years before they separated.

    • JT says:

Interesting. And the RRs also talked about how strong C&D were before it imploded. It’s even more interesting when you consider the fact the entire BM new their marriage was trash and still they puffed them up.

      • Nyro says:

I was too young to have kept up with the Wales divorce but it’s interesting to hear there was gushing press about their marriage right before the split.

    • Em says:

And they only divorced because the queen told them to,Diana wasn’t planning on divorcing him she just wanted to shame him. Kate expects some form of indiscretion. I’m sure the first time it was shocking but now she’s used to it. She has her eyes on the prize

      • Cecilia says:

Both charles and diana wanted out of that marriage but the queen wouldn’t let them until they both came out publicly with what a mess it truly was.

      • Tessa says:

Diana wanted out. HE was shaming her by having friends like Nicholas Soames trash her she was done with him ca. 1989.. She did get her side out. Kate put up with Will’s cheating to get that ring. Diana told people her “life is torture.” Charles put her down in public. Diana wanted out.

    • Becks1 says:

My favorite twitter reply to DW’s tweet with this story is something like “yes it was very telling when Charles and Diana released all those pictures of them fighting” lol.

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

Oh dear. Everyday the spin gets worse which makes me sure that something is very rotten in Denmark.

      • Nyro says:

Rotten indeed. They’re doing way too much. Between Will’s mouthpiece Wootton and Kate’s mouthpiece Camel Toe, there’s no way things are good with them.

      • bamaborn says:

Makes me think back to Harry’s statement, “If you only knew what I know.” Really believe they are separated and have been for awhile and they’re doing all they can to keep the dogs at bay.

    • HeyJude says:

Yep, methinks they doth protest too much.

Saying this pretty much confirms to me they’re on the road to divorce imminently.

And you know, William has an “out”. He has a convenient excuse for the press already made. He can blame it all on Harry and these press wackos will eat it up. “That Harry’s accusations put too much strain on their marriage to overcome.” “It destroyed Williams ability to trust those closest to him”… blah, blah, blah. He can once again blame shit on Harry.

Be prepared to pack your stuff Kate, William seems to be looking divorce you sweetie.

      • I have come to be very intrigued with the perspective of this site. As I find Dan Wooten, Camilla Tominey and the very bovine, Sarah Vine to be among the most sanctimonious, hypocritical and odious of the British rag writers – I am beyond mystified by Danny ‘Boy’ Wooten’s exceedingly creepy articles of late. I thought his open letter to William was bad enough. This ” ’til death do they part” business is beyond the pale, even by British tabloid standards. Something is clearly amiss – with the fluffing of Karen/Kate and the smarmy over-familiarity with William. If I were them, I would call the freaks off, but they seem to be afraid to do so. Anyone have any further perspective?

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Vickie W C, I wonder if the articles are supposed to be satire. They certainly read that way at times. I found this quote of interest, ““Sure, it hasn’t been easy and there have been significant bumps in the road, but I now truly believe they will break the royal marriage curse and stay together for as long as they are both alive.” Well, yes, death always ends a marriage. How perceptive that he noticed that.

There’s subtext to these articles that is escaping me, probably because only the people in the know understand it. Something is simmering beneath the surface with the Cams that the RRs know and REALLY want to talk about, and I don’t think it has to do with an affairs.

  2. JT says:

“There have been significant bumps in the road”. Hmm. What bumps? Also the comment about being royal isn’t hard is interesting. Then why the hell are the Keens not doing more? This article doesn’t seem all that favorable.

And again, if their marriage is so strong, why are the Sussexes even brought up?

    • Cecilia says:

I just said the same thing. Do inform us about those bumps wootton. And being a royal isn’t hard, when you have the whole establishment elevating you for doing nothing

    • S808 says:

Definitely confirming the affair(s) without directly saying it imo.

    • ElleV says:

      herpes lol

      • Blind Tiger says:

That’s not funny. I know a lot of people who struggle with this, and making fun of it is not ok.

    • Amy Bee says:

Remember it was Dan Wootton who first talked about Kate trying to freeze out Rose Hanbury.

      • Busy bee says:

He holds the key to their skeleton cupboard. He broke that Rose story and used it as leverage for H&M stories.

      • Sid says:

Exactly Amy. I think Wooten either got proof of an affair or something equally or more damaging, threatened KP with it, then agreed to spin the story in a pro-Kate way in exchange for future info on the Sussexes. And now Wooten is really putting the screws on with these bizarre articles in the past few weeks. Meant to be flattering to William on the surface, but actually make him look like a weirdo. And now this article.

William is going to rue the day he caved in to this sleaze.

      • Beana says:

It’s very clear the RR is blackmailing the Cambridges. This must be what Harry was referring to when he said Will was “trapped.”

    • Lemons says:

If questioned, he will say the bumps happened when Meghan came along.

    • Eurydice says:

I think, at this point, putting H&M in every story is obligatory. But what’s so interesting is that nothing really juicy is coming from the Exciting Couple, just retreads of Oprah and worthy global charity stuff. OTOH, the Borings are looking more and more juicy – there are narrative possibilities here and tabloids go where they can smell blood.

    • UnionSnack says:

      >What bumps?
Oh, maybe baby bumps, you know….

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

The significant bumps comment is a reminder to the fakebridges that the BM has them by the short and curlies.

    • Lyds says:

“Being a Royal isn’t hard” and the comment about it being hard to imagine Meghan on a farm in the rain…bish PLS. Meghan has voluntarily served in soup kitchens her whole life in underprivileged and economically devastated areas. She went and reached out to the minorities of the U.K. (Glenfell, the youth school visit) when most of the royals couldn’t be bothered to attend events outside of London. The Keenbridge’s rustic farmland adventure is a trip to Disney World compared to the projects that Meghan undertakes. And don’t forget: she always had multiple meetings behind the scenes before launching a meaningful event…that means contact that probably didn’t make it to the Court Circular; The Keen’s farm visit is one and done and I still don’t know why they were there.

  3. Snuffles says:

    Kate, you in danger girl!

    • Sarah says:

Yep. It’s starting to turn. You can smell it in the air.

      • GRUEY says:

It really is starting to turn. I’ve never EVER seen this many embiggening articles and every single one has some snide back handed compliments.

      • Liz version 700 says:

The scent of desperation and embarrassing glossy stories is getting stronger.

      • Nyro says:

It’s like they’re embiggening extra hard so that when they do turn, they can brush off claims of bias against the Cambridges.

      • The Hench says:

Backhanded is right. I mean lines like “Remember, Wills even dumped her for a particularly brutal ‘break’ because he told friends he just wasn’t certain she was The One.” – WTF? It’s their 10th wedding anniversary, there was NO need to pull that out.

Or “But crucially he also has his own bottom lines which he will not compromise on.” – that’s a weird phrase. Normally you’d use ‘red lines’ in that context – is this just bad writing or a deliberate double entendre?

      • Nic919 says:

That last one sounds like Kate accepting his cheating and he’s not prepared to compromise on that.

    • Beach Dreams says:

Yeah…this is starting to look like the calm before the storm, except the “calm” in this case left the building months ago. The “significant bumps” comment alone is pretty foreboding. Anyone who hasn’t heard of the Rose rumors will be wondering about said “significant bumps”.

    • Natters says:

Lol! Yes, the British monarchy has a long history of disposing their queens or future queens in dubious manners.

    • dollycoa says:

The inviting Phil’s mistress to his funeral was a clear message to Kate- This is what you do if you want to be Queen. Put up and shut up. The actual Queen did it and even did it in death, so you can if you want to be wife of the King type Queen

    • Greywacke says:

      Bless you, Snuffles.

  4. Aurora says:

That sounds scary. Kate better get her own security.

    • FC says:

For real. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m genuinely starting to believe the possibility that Diana was murdered. These people become rabid when their illusion is threatened.

      • Emily_C says:

I never believed it before the way they treated Meghan. I thought it was ridiculous. Now I’m on the fence. The British royals do have a history of murdering married-in women.

      • Elizabeth Phillips says:

I never believed it either, and I wasn’t even fully in the Diana camp, but after what we’ve sen in the last few years, I’m starting to wonder.

    • CL says:

      And always wear her seatbelt

    • Sue Denim says:

Plus Epstein, pulling security for H&M&A just when they were potentially most vulnerable, the tsars…

  5. Liz version 700 says:

Hahahaha I may have had too many mochas this morning to celebrate getting my second vaccine shot….but the wording for those creepy statements sounds a lot like a jail sentence. William and Kate you will be remanded to KP for the duration of your natural lives…though you can earn the occasional weekend off to Buklebury or “cough” Norfolk for good behavior…which shall be defined as not killing each other during incandescent rages or maniacal laughing.

  6. lunchcoma says:

I’m just picturing a split screen of Will and Kate calling their respective hit men.

  7. Eurydice says:

LOL, it sounds like William should be checking his soup for poisons.

  8. Em says:

    Lmao. Good luck to them.

  9. Izzy says:

“ there have been significant bumps in the road” And I OOP. Looks like Dan Rotten is edging closer to outing The Affair of The Roses.

  10. Lady D says:

Someone’s been reading CB and is trying to scribble out the writing on the wall.

    • Nomegusta says:

Emily Andrews admitted to reading Celebitchy, I know the rest of them probably do as well😂

      • Liz version 700 says:

Emily even commented on a Celebitchy Tweet!!!! She is definitely a reader 🙂

      • lalisa says:

wait she did?! lmao what was the quote?

i had a feeling those assholes were lurking lol

      • Becks1 says:

@lalisa it was when the bullying allegations against Meghan resurfaced days before the Oprah interview aired. She commented on one of Kaiser’s tweets about it, I begged her for more dirt on Wootton and paying for stories but she wouldn’t bite lol.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Totally. Curious how this commentary came a few days after we all began discussing their demise here.

  11. Watson says:

Jesus. He makes this marriage sound like prison.

    • My3cents says:

It is a prison, but one that they both entered knowingly and willfully. They will not divorce because :
-Lets face it no one else wanted to be married to baldimort even when he was single, so there is no other love story here, just occasional flings. No one wants that messy and public life.
-Karen Keen entered this relationship after baldi repeatedly cheated on her left and right, it was no big love story. She knew his nature and what to expect.
-She will put up with all the cheating and infidelities as long as he’s discreet and they live a separate life. She wants the title not love.
-Baldi does not want to repeat history and divorce, he wants to come across as better than his parents, even if it means a loveless marriage.
-Dirt the middeltons might have on him.

In my options chances are very slim of them separating, this is a marriage of “convenience ” for both.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

My3cents, Ah, but what about all of the dirt the brf now has on the Mids–including Uncle Gary? If I had to put my money on anyone, I would back the Windsors. The Mids are amateurs compared to the crown. Who do you think holds the power?

      • bamaborn says:

That was BEFORE Harry shows up with this hot, sexy, intelligent and charismatic woman.

  12. Chica1971 says:

This is such a freaking crisis for the Keens. If they are so confident, happy and every other superlative used.. WHY are they so about HM? They will never be enough. DailyFail is a joy.. they can’t come up with any HM stories that run for more than a few hours and Keens are always midway down the page. They lost the golden goose!

  13. Cecilia says:

“Sure it hasn’t been easy and there have been bumps along the road…..” what are you trying to say wooton?

And am i mistaken or weren’t the keens kids photographed right before Christmas when they were mingling with the wessexes? Not to mention that william and harry were photographed frequently by the british press so i would say the the BM is just as notorious.

And the only one i saw laughing their head of at the sheep engagement was kate.

Imagine having dan wootton as your supporter? Oh the misery

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Kate is The Hyena in my mind. I’ve referred to her that way a number of times. The Laughing Hyena.

    • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

Keens and Wessexes did a “walk” through some lighted tree path at Christmas, when two households were NOT supposed to be mingling, esp. w/out masks!

    • Original Jenns says:

Wasn’t it affiliates of the British press that sent drones into the Sussexes backyard? Most likely British pap affiliates are the ones setting off their security when breaking onto their property. American paps are terrible but let’s not pretend who’s at the heart of Sussex stalking, Wooten.

  14. MsIam says:

Things must really be bad then. I wonder who put this drivel out there, Camp William or Camp Keen Teeth?

    • The Hench says:

Or neither? This feels more to me like Dan W rattling the chains around their necks. It’s the classic “I made you and I can take you down as well’ strategy.

  15. S808 says:

“Stay together for as long as they’re both alive” sounds VERY much like a threat. The vibe around their 10th anniversary is very weird and not at all joyous. Dan’s last 2 pieces have been very creepy and concerning. And knowing he has so much dirt on the Cambs….I’d say good luck to them both but I don’t mean it. Good luck to the kids.

    • Mira says:

“the notoriously ruthless American media, which operates without many of the state-sanctioned controls and self-imposed restraint on the part of the press that royals benefit from in Britain”

This sounds a lot like a threat to me as well.

      • lalisa says:

He wants exclusives is what he’s saying.

play stupid games win stupid prizes.

      • Izzy says:

To me it sounds like a veiled warning to the Sussexes that he intends to try to weaponize US media affiliates against them.

      • Lisa says:

As opposed to the quiet lambs of the British media

      • Sid says:

The fact that a member of the British press would call the American press notoriously ruthless is really something. Talk about pots and kettles.

Izzy, he can try but he won’t get as far as he thinks. One of the many reasons so many British actors and music artists move to the U.S., besides work reasons, is because the legal protections from the tabloid press are better, even if they aren’t perfect.

      • BeanieBean says:

They certainly didn’t employ that self-restraint when writing about Harry & Meghan (mostly Meghan). And I’ve never, ever seen Harry or Meghan ‘glum’ at any official event, or anywhere else, for that matter. Wootton writes fiction, nothing but.

  16. Lila says:

Wooten keeps getting weirder and weirder, doesn’t he? On the other hand, his phrasing does make me giggle. Someone’s gotta be dead to get out, huh?

I’m picturing The War of the Roses, part two…in which the House of Middleton battles to become the new royal family. Their standard can have a million buttons on it. Kate will draw up war plans that look suspiciously like pie charts. And Carole and Charles will have to run the entire thing, because Kate and William will be too lazy to actually get involved. Maybe they can do some photo shoots in a pretend war room.

    • Original Jenns says:

“ And Carole and Charles will have to run the entire thing, because Kate and William will be too lazy to actually get involved”. That is hilarious.

  17. Neners says:

They’re slowly inching towards the Rose affair. Like peeling back the first layer of an onion.

    • BayTampaBay says:

Well at least Rose has better taste in fashion so there is hope for the future Daily Fail gossip articles.

  18. Merricat says:

Yikes. Looks like their love is as real as these anniversary photos.

  19. Becks1 says:

Significant bumps in the road, hmmmm? Want to tell us more about those, Dan?

I agree that the “as long as they are both alive” sounds oddly ominous – maybe trying to create a parallel to the Queen and Prince Philip?

Anyway I definitely think something is happening the House of Keen. I know this is their anniversary week so we should expect these kinds of sugary stories about their love, but there is an aggressive edge to these stories, something very desperate, that makes me wonder what is really going on.

Of course Dan had to get in some criticism of Meghan and Harry but that’s par for the course with him now, he hates them bc they refused to play the tabloid game.

    • Sofia says:

Before, when people were saying “somethings afoot in the House of Cambridge” I wasn’t totally behind it and honestly, I’m still not completely but I definitely do think somethings happening in the background.

      • The Hench says:

I just….it’s their 10th wedding anniversary. All the articles should be about how lovely that is and reminding us of the highs of the last ten years. Instead DW – often their media mouthpiece – has just run an article that references them splitting up, that Kate was not ‘the one’ and then rattles on about how they will die before they get divorced and, in so doing, break the “royal marriage curse”.

        What. The. Actual. F***?

    • Cecilia says:

I think the “as long as they are alive” bit refers to the fact that the firm will quite literally not allow them to divorce even if they both wanted it. I don’t think kate wants to, and i was always under the assumption that william was fine with the way of things. He gets to do his own thing while kate puts up and shuts up. But this unhinged writing about particularly kate seems like willy might be in a relationship and is at least thinking about divorce.

      • notasugarhere says:

The firm will not stop them. Charles runs the firm now, and he’s not going to stop William from dumping Kate.

      • Merricat says:

        Nota, agreed.

      • BayTampaBay says:

I really wonder what Charles III really thinks of Cathy.

      • schlussel says:

I’m sure Charles would be only too happy to see Kate go – given how outrageously she’s briefed the press pack about skipping Chuck & Cam entirely so she can be the next Queen Consort. and all this just days after his father died.

      • Persephone says:

@BTB Charles (and camila) both despise Keen, in my opinion. It was Camila that had a hand in their breakup.

      • Harper says:

Charles does not care if Will & Kate stay together. In fact, he may have been the one to tell William to go ahead and legitimize Kate with the marriage, but draw up a ten-year contract so Will has an out if he wants one. I think that idea is what motivated Will to go ahead with proposing. It was a compromise to save both of their images, produce an heir and a spare, and peace out down the road. William seemed very transactional at the ceremony, and in honor of their anniversary, I’d advise popping over to YouTube to refresh your memory of their body language that day. Brrrrr …. freezing cold. Every time I look at that ceremony my gut tells me there is something off there. Anyway, I think Charles would be secretly pleased to ditch Kate and the Middlebums and would be pretty confident that Will’s image could survive it.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Let’s take a minute to look at the brf if Lean and Mean divorce. Mean becomes an eligible bachelor, and can be the “man about town”. In my opinion, it would actually help bring interest to the monarchy. I can’t see the benefit Lean brings to the family or firm. Well, other being a womb, but the womb is no longer needed.
She made a huge mistake by hiding in the country. I don’t think people will actually miss her after the initial surprise of a divorce.

    • Monica says:

Yes, my eyes are still trying to roll to a stop. The only time H&M have looked miserable since they left is when they’re either discussing the BRF/RR on national TV or at a funeral in proximity to them.

  20. Monica says:

You’re gonna love me, like nobody’s loved me
    Come rain or come shine
    Happy together, unhappy together
    Won’t it be fine
    🤣

  21. nicegirl says:

Top CEO had better watch out.

  22. Lauren says:

I’m gonna take a wild guess here and say that Bullyham is looking for an out of this marriage. He will keep Kenn around until he has found better, but he is looking for an out. that’s the only thing that makes sense with the insane PR going around them at the moment. And I don’t know if DW’s eyes are working, but the only Duke and Duchess of Glum I see are the Keenbridges. They look glum, miserable, and very unhappy together while speaking of mental health and happiness. But I guess that Dan’s gotta eat, now that the RR and RF chased away the Sussexes. The Cambridges can take all of DW’s creepy attention and coverage. Gods Bill, what does that man have on you? Because it can’t be only Rose.

    • BayTampaBay says:

“He will keep Keen around until he has found better”

There is no better! IMAO, that is just the problem as no other woman probably wants the BPwBT let alone marry into his horrid courtier-controlled family. What kind of woman that Bullyham would want would give up her freedom and all she has to be controlled and dragged through the British tabloids?

      • Cessily says:

But admit a single PW going on holiday with the Lads and bringing one of the dance floor women he groped out for a night would keep the tabloid press liquid for long time.

      • (The OG) Jan90067 says:

That IS why NONE of the Aristos HE wanted wanted HIM.

      • My3cents says:

That’s what I wrote above,no one appropriate will want him (maybe a real Housewife?) So yeah Katy Keen is going nowhere.

    • FC says:

Kate’s gifted Wills his heirs, so he no longer has a use for her. And we know he’s selfish as hell, so maybe when granny dies he’ll rollout someone else?

  23. nicegirl says:

    American media SAVAGES!!!

  24. Em says:

Also in the last paragraph Dan wooton “free speech captain” is admitting that the press is gagged and controlled by the royals. Interesting.

  25. TigerMcQueen says:

What a load of gaslighting baloney.

M&H look wonderful lately, much more so since leaving salty white people isle.

The Keens look like they can barely tolerate each other.

Though I do agree that the palace (courtiers especially) sees the Keens as their best hope of survival long term. Charles and Camilla are still not very popular, and the old school royalists love love love the image of Diana’s eldest and FFK as a happily married man, so unlike his parents and poor, tragic mum. That image, above everything, is why the Keens remain somewhat popular. They don’t connect well with people, they don’t work, they have nothing to show for 10 years of learning the ropes. They have nothing else to fall back on. So if that image as ‘happy married!’ is exposed as a fraud, well then, all bets are off.

And, yes, I can see Meghan mucking about on a cold day and playing with gold clubs and loving it. Moreso, I can see her genuinely connecting with the kids on the farm while also wearing a mask!!! It’s like he’s never actually seen Meghan interact with people or he’s…lying.

    • swirlmamad says:

It’s wild, flagrant projection and he is flat out lying his face off. It’s completely laughable….if it wasn’t so infuriating that he gets away with this shit and calls it “journalism”.

    • Nyro says:

Exactly. William the Family Man is all that he has going for him. It’s all that he has and it’s is complete lie. The general public are seeing him as a Windsor more and more. It’s Harry who is seen as Diana’s legacy. If his cheating and their living separate lies was ever exposed, it absolutely would tarnish him. He’d officially be Charles Jr. The residual goodwill that he’s been given due to being Diana’s son would be gone. He doesn’t even look like her anymore, which also puts him at a disadvantage.

      • Tessa says:

Will and Kate overdo trotting out the kids. They had a “spontaneous” video of the three of them looking heavily edited. Those children will rebel as teens because they will resent being trotted out before the cameras.

    • Monica says:

I know! Did he not see Archie’s Chick’Inn???

  26. Cessily says:

Every divorced woman was looking for a lifetime marriage..

  27. MF1 says:

It’s interesting: the BM always talks about Will & Kate in terms of duty, service, perpetuating the monarchy, etc. Their relationship is no longer framed as a love story. The RR can no longer be bothered to pretend these two actually love one another.

    • S808 says:

Yeah I noticed this too! I think they all know the marriage is dead in the water so now it’s framed a job and not as a union between 2 people.

    • Beach Dreams says:

Definitely. It’s especially fascinating because the BM spent much of the past 2-3 years (right after Meghan joined the family) rewriting the history of Will and Kate to be more romantic. That’s all but stopped in the last few months.

    • Nyro says:

Robert Lacy has been the most explicit, flat out stating in interview after interview that “William married for duty, Harry for love”. They all know PWT and Doormat are married in name only.

    • CuriousCole says:

Excellent point MF1. I still remember all the tv specials and coverage of W&K’s wedding and it was nonstop gushing about their history and what a triumph it was for Diana’s son to marry for love. Now I can’t remember the last time the press have mentioned love between the two!

  28. MipMip says:

“the notoriously ruthless American media, which operates without many of the state-sanctioned controls and self-imposed restraint on the part of the press that royals benefit from in Britain.”

Self-imposed restraint? Oh boy, that sure sounds like a threat. Like, “we’ve been restrained until now, Will, but just wait.”

    • Merricat says:

Yes, where was this “restraint” when it came to Harry and Meghan? Bitch, please.

    • Brittany says:

“self-imposed restraint on the part of the press” — oh, restraint. Oh I see, So you mean like when you tapped Charles’s phone and published him talking about wanting to be a tampon? Or when you published a FAKE story about Kamala Harris’s book just the other day because of your “restraint”? Or when you violated Meghan’s copyright and lost big in court? Such restraint, much ethics.

    • Eurydice says:

Yes, it’s like out of a Mafia movie – “nice little business you got here; it’d be a shame if anything happened to it…”

    • Emily_C says:

Someone from the press called Archie a chimp! And not even the tabloid press, it was someone from the BBC. “Restraint,” right.

  29. lola says:

Writing is a skill and Wootton doesn’t possess it at all, talk about mediocrity and between his open letter and this, pathetic. Please someone, anyone, make it stop. It’s embarrassing. And repeating something a thousand times doesn’t make it true. “W&K are so much better than H&M”, yeah right. W&K are SO boring it bleeds in everything they do.

  30. Quincytoo says:

    This sounded like a threat
At first I thought it was directed at The Top CEO but after reading this article and reading the comments not sure who it was meant for 🤔
Not that I care these two deserve to rot in h*ll

  31. Woke says:

I wonder how much access Dan really have on William and his family. Before the Sussexit he was receiving leaks here and there from Christian Jones but he left. The letter thing he claimed as an exclusive recently was clearly based of the leak of the letter Harry wrote to his father concerning their plans.
I think he really doesn’t know much this day.

    • Becks1 says:

William leaked him stories about Harry and Meghan. My guess is at this point, William knows very little, if anything, about the Sussexes, so he has nothing really left to feed DW unless he feeds him info about other members of the royals. So it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

  32. Plums says:

omg who says “as long as they are both alive”, like, that is such a creepy turn of phrase! It sounds so opposite to the romantic, devoted connotation of “so long as they both shall live”. Like, in terms of pure definition of words, they mean the same thing, but one sounds like they’ve begrudgingly agreed to be stuck with each other until death, and the other is used in weddings to signify lifelong devotion.

    • bettyrose says:

Absolute creepy, especially for a couple so young. Could’ve worded that many more positive ways “together for life,” “will always be together,” “a strong marriage” and presumably a professional writer knows the difference.

    • Greywacke says:

The wording is deliberate. It was no mistake.

  33. MsIam says:

Dan Rotten can’t imagine H&M mucking around with golf clubs in the bitter cold? No because they are handing out school supplies to kids in the hot sun, or delivering food, or helping out in a preschool. Totally glamorous stuff, don’t cha know?

    • BayTampaBay says:

Trying as hard as I can, I cannot imagine Charles, Camilla and/or Anne mucking around with golf clubs in the bitter cold as they have much better and more important things to do with time.

However, I can see Pedo Andy mucking around with golf clubs in the bitter cold! LOL!

    • Brittany says:

Feb. 1, 2019, Harper’s Bazaar headline: “Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Greeting Children in the Snow Will Melt Your Heart” with H & M (without hats, or umbrellas — although it was snowing lightly) taking time to say hello to children who had waited in “freezing temperatures” to see them.

      • Jais says:

@brittany-thank you for providing the evidence! We all know it’s not true but bringing the receipts is exactly it.

    • Tessa says:

Kate picked up the dead birds that william shot. To “impress” him when they dated.

  34. Over it says:

Was one of those significant bumps along the way falling into a rose bush over and over and over again?

  35. Amy Bee says:

William has to be pissed that the press won’t shut up about Harry and Meghan not even when talking about his 10th wedding anniversary.

  36. Shannon says:

“…stay together for as long as they are both alive”? Yeah, I listen to far too many true crime podcasts to not hear that turn of phrase and be alarmed. Someone’s leaving this marriage in a box

    • Julia K says:

Thank you! Darn funny. Read it to hubby who is a crime story fan. Laughed. Any idea who occupies the box @Shannon?

      • HeatherC says:

It’ll be Kate. If William dies, she loses the most. Especially if he dies before she is made Princess of Wales nevermind Queen Consort. Kate is the one that needs William alive. She gave birth to the heir and two spares, she’s no longer needed.

    • Mooney says:

It’d be Kate then. “Make it look a suicide,007.”

  37. Queen Meghan’s Hand says:

    WTH is this?

“ They have a plan, they’re going to stick to it and by God they’re going to have some fun along the way. That was illustrated perfectly by their engagement on a farm in Durham earlier this week, where Wills laughed his head off affectionately when Kate missed the golf ball while taking a swing…That’s what the modern monarchy needs to be about. ”

Being a bad golfer is an example of them having fun? This is beyond pathetic

    • Sue Denim says:

or what the modern monarchy needs to be about? I guess for those days when folding a paper, putting it in an envelope and handing it off to a “lacky” gets too exhausting… I really think they’re all rudderless at this point…

  38. Over it says:

And of course they are both in it for the long hall. Carole Jenner worked damm hard pimping for that crown, no way she is letting Karen keen throw it all away. And let’s be honest. Kate has done absolutely nothing her entire life. If she leaves, what the F is she going to fall back on? Well I suppose she will walk away with enough to shop for buttons, bows and Botox for the rest of her life. It’s not like she ever had a work ethic. He will be king Baldimort regardless of if she stays or goes but the only thing he has going for him is the wholesome family image even though we all know it’s a farce

  39. HeatherC says:

That sounds like a threat. Also what pictures is Rotten looking at where Harry and Meghan look miserable? Why do these “journalists” insist that all is happy and merry on the Cambridge front but absolutely have to frame that narrative by slamming the Sussexes? Either your marriage is strong and fine or something is rotten in the state of Cambridge and you’re using the Sussexes as a squirrel to a dog as a distraction? Which is it? (rhetorical, we ALL know which it is)

  40. Myra says:

Just get a divorce, folks! Don’t be like Henry VIII.

    • Brittany says:

      Divorced, beheaded, died;
      Divorced, beheaded, survived.

The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth!

  41. Ann says:

“William throwing his head back and laughing.”

I didn’t see that, I just saw Kate throwing her head back and laughing….maniacally. If William laughed, it was out of derision.

And the Sussexes do not look miserable “all the time.” When was the last time we even SAW a picture of Meghan? We’ve seen a few lovely ones they’ve released in which she is glowing. Even in the interview she didn’t look miserable, just sad and pained for part of it. But the more relaxed part where she was showing Oprah their home, she seemed very happy.

And the last time we saw a picture of Harry he was at a funeral. You’re not supposed to look HAPPY at a funeral.

  42. Ann says:

“William throwing his head back and laughing.”

As for the American Media. Well, we have a lot of problems (thanks Murdoch), but we’re a model of civility and professionalism compared to the system in the UK.

    • Cessily says:

Wasn’t Meghan supposedly “smiling behind the mask” according to the lip reading experts?
We have seen very little of the Sussex’s in the past 14 months besides the interview which dealt with a lot of emotion and difficult topics, but they must have missed the parts where they talked about their family, love and new life because they glowed and you couldn’t miss the happiness. Mr.Wooton and the tabloids no longer get to take that away from them and twist it into something ugly.

  43. JT says:

Who came up with the theory that William doesn’t really need a replacement wife? I keep thinking about it and I can’t remember which post that comment was on.

    • Beach Dreams says:

I *think* it was Amy Too, she’s made some strong arguments for what a potential post-divorce life may look like for Will. Personally I think that the BRF’s conservatism would compel him to eventually find a replacement, but IF he were to divorce, I think it would definitely look much better for him to (publicly) stay single for a few years afterward.

      • JT says:

I think so too. Don’t go pulling a Charles. He won’t be king for another 15-20 years anyway, plenty of time to find a wife then. He could have his flings on the side, guilt free, and then work as a future king on the forefront. Building a statesmen image would be easier without lynchpin Kate undermining him.

    • Becks1 says:

I think it was AmyToo as well, and I kind of agree. William divorcing Kate for another woman would look really bad. William divorcing Kate and embracing the single dad image would improve his PR a lot IMO.

      • Sid says:

I agree with AmyToo too. And I think there was groundwork being laid for that single dad image last year with certain photos of just William and the children being released, and being released at interesting times.

  44. NewKay_ says:

People would like him more without the wife. He would seem more real. Now he’s like a robot with no personality.

  45. Cessily says:

Meghan & Harry are glum: What a contrast they are with the Duke and Duchess of Glum, who decided early on that a life of royal engagements supporting charities up and down the UK was below them. I certainly can’t imagine Meghan mucking around with golf clubs on a bitter North East day in the cold. William and Kate live their life in stark contrast to Harry and Meghan, who love to talk a lot about happiness and contentment while actually looking and acting miserably most of the time.

Really? Has this guy been to Toronto (or any of Canada?) in the 🥶 Winter? Mucking around playing golf would have been a great day.. they forget Meghan was in Canada for years working.
and hello, did he miss the tagging of the animals in Africa to protect them (tranquilized or not that took guts) not to mention before she met PH she was helping with wells and fresh water along with keeping girls in schools by providing basic sanitary needs.
Then she did do all the events for the Island patronage’s trying to be a help with commonwealth inclusion and she is vilified.

They tabloids and supporters have exactly who they want, who they so blatantly supported after making everything a Sussex vs Cambridge’s narrative, which at any point the anyone in the BRF could have shut down.
So tired of the constant need to put H& M in these “we love our lazy Royals” articles is old and blatant harassment.

    • Lemons says:

I just don’t know why roughing it up in the countryside is some sort of standard for being royal. NONE of them are living hard lives in the harsh UK winters. I’m sure not a single person has callouses on the palms of their hands from hard work.

Also…he couldn’t even parlay the rough life into how it is good for others. We are being asked to picture them GOLFING. Not taking care of animals or running organic farms. GOLFING.

  46. Miranda says:

“…until they day you die” is what the judge says when he’s sentencing you to life without parole. Usually because you murdered someone. Often your spouse. Lovely.

    • The Recluse says:

Sounds like one of those ancient curses, too. Like the ‘may you live in interesting times’. Poor clueless things.

  47. Beach Dreams says:

This is such an ominous “tribute” to their marriage. Excluding Wootton’s typical bitterness towards Harry and Meghan, the comments are just…off. “Significant bumps in the road” (go on, Dan, don’t be shy), the “royal marriage curse” quip, “as long as they’re both alive”…??? He makes their marriage sound like solitary confinement. It feels like the BM is slowly sharpening their knives.

    • BayTampaBay says:

Does Wootton really dislike the Sussexes or does he just act like he does because he is paid to do so? I really wonder sometimes what the true opinions and beliefs of the Royal Rats really are.

      • Cessily says:

Dan Wooton like Piers Morgan are dangerous, they are not impartial and they fan the fringes with hate.

      • Becks1 says:

I think he really hates the Sussexes, my theory is its because they refused to play tabloid games that the Cambridges are willing to play. When he talks about them its like how Piers talks about Meghan – there’s something personal there, it’s very off. Even with as gross as some of the other RRs can get about Meghan and Harry, I think Piers and Dan for some reason take them very personally.

      • lanne says:

I think all the ratchets have made the same mistake: because they are royal-adjacent, they think that makes them members of the royal family by proxy. After all, they drink punch and eat cookies with them at Christmas! Their lives revolve around the RF until they see no separation between their own lives and the lives of the royals. This adjacency gives them, in their minds, gatekeeping rights to the RF. They believe they can tell the royals what to do, who to date, how to behave, due to the power they believe they have through their media columns. The BR encourages this symbiotic toxic relationship betcause they get good press out of it (long as they behave). This is why the ratchets hatred of Meghan feels so absurdly personal and unprofessional. It is personal for them, because they actually believe that they, themselves, have influence over the choices, values, experiences of the royals. Harry has “betrayed” them in a personal way.

      • Keri says:

My tinfoil hat theory. Maybe Wooton’s hate is similar to why Piers hates Meghan. Maybe old Danny boy propositioned Harry for media access or just because Harry is hot and he wanted a piece of that and was turned down. He sounds like a woman scorned. Hence the unhinged hatred in his posts about the Sussexes. Harry probably laughed at Dan’s fugly moon face.

      • Greywacke says:

Wooton and Morgan are genuine examples of narcissistic personality disorder. Like Trump, this is personal to them as long as they are alive.

    • L4frimaire says:

Wooten is just a terrible person and is such an Iago for the Cambridge’s. His praise and support always has malice attached to it and seems more like a veiled threat. He obviously doesn’t like the Sussexes but at least he doesn’t have the bonkers emotional investment Piers Morgan does( btw where is he now that he quit his tv gig?). It seems Wooten will now be the principal propaganda mouthpiece in the Fail. However, that said, maybe I’m slow on clues but I just don’t see this sad demise of the Cambridge marriage. Yeah they’re boring and he strays but they are well protected and supported. There will not be another Charles and Diana scenario. I don’t know, I think Kate is fully invested, William is bored but doesn’t want an ambitious wife either. He was threatened by Meghan from the very beginning, and it wasn’t jus5 his racism and snobbery that was the issue. That said, I’ll never understand the destruction they leveled at Meghan, with Harry as the collateral damage. The fact that they did that so willingly and eagerly just demonstrate how morally bankrupt and evil those two are, no matter how many cute videos and awkward photos they send out.

      • Cessily says:

Piers and Dan see themselves as “part of” they story or narrative it is personal with them and you are right that something is seriously wrong with them what they are doing is not harmless tabloids (and never was journalism) it is obsession and stalking. I read some of these things or see clips and they literally give me chills.

      • Sid says:

Wooten as the Cambridge’s Iago is a terrific way to describe it.

      • Completely agree with what Keri said. Danny Rotten’s depraved obsession and overly-familiar attachment to W is (a la Piers) extremely personal and his passive aggressive bank-handed insinuations are malice-laced, based on (in his twisted mind) rejection of some kind and when provoked, and he is poised to respond like a woman scorned.

  48. Jan says:

They’re so many pictures of Meghan and Harry, where they look like they forgot they are in a crowd, looking at each other.
When Meghan is speaking or Harry is, they look at each other with so much pride. Now when unable is mumbling, Cain looks like he can’t wait for her to stop. Why can’t he accept her as she was, elocution lessons that they should get a refund on.
Why is the BM not celebrating the wedding anniversary? No it’s M&H in every article written about Cain and unable.

  49. swirlmamad says:

That Wooton jackal is chock brimming full of sh*t. “What a shock to the system that will be for Harry and Meghan who will have to get a handle on the notoriously ruthless American media, which operates without many of the state-sanctioned controls and self-imposed restraint on the part of the press that royals benefit from in Britain.”

I guess when you’re a pathological liar, writing and publishing this drivel without batting an eye is easy.

  50. Maria says:

Wtf??? What a terrifyingly worded statement!

  51. Zut alors says:

So are we being primed for an episode of Snapped: Royal Edition ‘Til death do us part?

    • HeatherC says:

Lord Lucan comes out of hiding and calls PWBT, advising him to learn from his mistakes, make sure it’s the nanny’s day off or send her on a errand. Make sure you get the right girl BEFORE the divorce.

  52. Muffin says:

This is just so…Weird? Creepy? Every story on this, cloying as may be, steer well clear of even implying that theese two are happily married. No happiness mention, at all. That is usually the norm with aniversaries, yes? And with all the coddling generalities, that is peculiare. All is not well methinks, and this is coming off as the most half assed cover-up possible.

  53. TheOriginalMia says:

They’ve gotten into bed with scum. Wootton will be jerking their chains for as long as he’s alive. There have been bumps equals multiple affairs to me. They’ll stay married as long as William wants to remain married. Kate has no say in that marriage. The only thing she can do is shut up and put up with whatever William does. And she will because she wants that crown just as much as he does.

    • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

This is what happens in the Windsor family. You sell out the relative you’re most jealous of to the press. Charles did it to Diana and William did it to Harry. Harry COULD take it because he had been conditioned to all his life but that stopped when he saw his wife suffer.

Whereas Charles completed and successfully concluded his deal with the tabloids, William, the idiot, has not and has failed. William did not anticipate Harry marrying an American woman who saw right through that family and their media strategy and has checkmated the lot of them at every step. William’s actions are now Charles’ problem and you can tell he’s trying to sort out this entire situation.

      • TheOriginalMia says:

If the situation is this bad now, can you imagine how bad it’s going to get when they don’t have cute kids to throw at the press?

    • BlueToile says:

I agree. I also do not think Kate understands how easy it would be to get rid of her. All that Will has to do is unload the whole stalking thing that happened for years and everyone knows about, but no one speaks of. The classism would be fully embrassed by the tabloid reading masses. The Middleton dirt is out there, too, but if it was embraced by the RF it would be damaging. Add on that Kate could easily be painted as the reason Harry left the UK, due to her jealousy of Meghan, etc., and there you have it: D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

  54. Shawna says:

Thanks for giving me the plot of my next murder mystery.

  55. Lowrider says:

    Lol

….state-sanctioned controls and self-imposed restraint on the part of the press that royals benefit from in Britain.

    Is the UK North Korea!?!

As always from Rotten, bash Harry and Meghan to uplift Will and Kate.

  56. WithTheAmerican says:

I’m getting major “Melanie” (sic, her husband) vibes here.

  57. Izzy says:

Tinfoil hat time: It’s got to be obvious to the RF, Willieleaks included, that the Sussex shine kept the RF relevant. Now that the truth about The Great Wedding Week Sobfest is out, what if Willieleaks is using it to pave the way for a divorce? Like, “her behavior caused a huge rift between me and my brother and I can’t forgive it.”

Ok, taking the hat off now.

  58. Jay says:

What the hell is the “royal marriage curse”? Or is he specifically referencing Charles and Diana? Cuz otherwise it doesn’t make sense – plenty other royal couples stay married, some
for 70+ years! Now, I don’t know if we could say happily married, but that is another thing entirely. The rarity of divorce in fact made William’s parent’s split more newsworthy.

And they are the monarchy’s “best chance of survival”? That’s not exactly the voice of confidence.

So… congratulations to you, Cambridges! May you stay together for as long as you are both alive! BOTH, mind you. Now that’s a toast🥂.

    • Brittany says:

Right??? Elizabeth and Philip, her parents, etc. — all had more or less successful marriages. And it’s true three of Elizabeth’s children divorced, as well as Margaret, but Edward and Sophie have stayed together for probably over twenty years now. Charles and Camilla, and Anne and Tim, seem very settled together. Andrew is obviously still into Fergie despite their divorce (more or less forced by her scandal), because they still spend time together if not literally still live together sub rosa. This curse is a made up way to hint that Will and Kate may have problems.

      • Tessa says:

Charles and Camilla could not divorce even if things were not going well. He would jeopardize his place in line of succession if he has two divorces. Andrew and Fergie are done, he was going to Epstein Island and was not exactly faithful to her. If they ever remarry it would be for expediency’s sake. Maybe as protection so he won’t have to testify.

      • notasugarhere says:

No, he would not jeopardize his place in the line of succession. Many second marriages in the UK end in divorce. It isn’t scandalous, it is the way life is now.

  59. Nyro says:

Yep. There is trouble in paradise still. Some may not have seen it before but I don’t see how anyone can look at this embarrassing, frantic, and desperate PR as of late and think the Cambridges are doing great.

  60. NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

William looks like he cannot wait for that photo shoot to be over. The photographer looks like they lit a shiny object in Kate’s direction to get her excited about whatever it is she is looking at.

Dan is right whether people want to believe it or not: William cannot divorce her. It doesn’t matter how dull and vapid she is, it doesn’t matter how much of a liability her family is, it will never happen because it would worsen the stability of the monarchy in a currently regressive England. If you take away the current disassociative fantasy that the UK government is projecting, there will be a lot of problems that can easily be solved by abolishing the monarchy.

    • BeanieBean says:

There is a sort of cocker spaniel vibe about Kate in that second photo.

    • Tessa says:

If William wants to remarry he would divorce Kate in a heartbeat.

      • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

I don’t think there’s going to be many takers. But I agree if someone was waiting in the wings Kate would be dropped.

    • Greywacke says:

Nobody cares about divorce anymore, not even the CoE. Half of the Baby Boomer generation are divorced. And you are assuming W thinks HE can make the monarchy unstable. He is too much of a narcissist to believe HE could do so. That would be everyone else’s fault.

  61. Haloumi says:

“as long as they are both alive”? Jeepers creepers. This would make me run for the hills. Is this a veiled threat? Or a sign of things to come? WTF?

  62. Nyro says:

The Cambridges are merely guest stars on their own show. Almost every piece about their anniversary is centered around Harry and Meghan. HAHA!!

  63. MerlinsMom1018 says:

“The notoriously ruthless American media” eh??????
Please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t it the BM and the RR along with the RF that hounded H&M out of the UK?????

  64. Cj says:

Why are they sat so far apart on the hay? I thought we only needed 6ft from a separate household not our own… oh wait. Maybe they are two separate households lol

And fully believe this is the extent of work they want to do – show up play some mini golf. M&H would do golf but they seemed more focused on doing work to bring in money to their causes and actually organising things instead of play acting. But maybe that’s because PW feels he’s already doing enough so no reason to go beyond the “work” of being married.

Neither PW or Kate would survive one week as an employee in a 9-5 office job. The amount of work involved would make their heads spin.

  65. This Wooton guy is deranged. He absolutely wants to make William and Kate happen despite his complete knowledge of William’s Rose and his awareness that this marriage is a total sham. Who is he trying to convince? Only himself.

They will stay together for as long as they are both alive. How Wooton wish .

  66. Jessica says:

This is really unhinged stuff. These people keep showing us how deeply, deeply disturbed they are. It’s wild to me that they seemingly have no self-awareness at all. They remind me of stalkers.

  67. Lizzie says:

somehow they turn anything into nothing more than a very boring photoshoot. maybe that is her superpower they have been searching for.

  68. pottymouth pup says:

“What a contrast they are with the Duke and Duchess of Glum, who decided early on that a life of royal engagements supporting charities up and down the UK was below them. ”

WTaF – this is a massive level of gaslighting considering Harry & Meghan were extremely engaged with their charities/patronages and the Cambridges have been anything but

Sounds like Danny Boy is giving orders to RF.

  70. Miss C says:

I just can’t with these people Kate and William are not happy yeah they’ll stay Together until death do them part. K is just jealous that William doesn’t show any affection toward her. Hairy shows Megan all of the love and affection that he has in his heart for his wife and his family. He is not walking around Grinding his teeth and looking at his wife like she is crazy

  71. aquarius64 says:

I think I know what has Dan Rotten to the Core super salty: ET is reporting the Sussexes reached out to congratulate the Cambridges on their 10th. H and M through surrogates don’t talk to the tabloids except People. Danny Boy must think W and K are straining their leash and this latest article is the shock collar being activated.

  72. Robin says:

What a chilling thing to say. It sounds like something a hostage taker would say in a ransom note.

  73. Curious says:

what a strange sickening headline.”as long as they both alive”? are they expecting one of them to die soon?

  74. Thirtynine says:

    Well, that’s ominous.

  75. VIV says:

The Keens are better because they’re happy playing golf…. how of the people! So relatable to the masses.

  76. MangoAngelesque says:

    That just sounded creepily ominous.

  77. Tess says:

Nothing says 10 years of wedded whatever like a completely out-of-the-blue “THEYRE NOT GETTING DIVORCED OKAY?!?” article.

  78. jferber says:

The “journalist’s” comments are as creepy AF. He’s snide and servile at the same time. And it seems Wills is making a real effort JUST TO LOOK AT HIS OWN WIFE! Like it’s difficult AF to do so. Also, he was so handsome in his early twenties. All his hotness drained out of him and his inner demons have played havoc with his (former) good looks. He is one strange dude, for sure. And no, they can’t stand alone and will always attain relevancy (for the salty white folks in Britland) for their supposed superiority to the Sussexes. In fact, the only misery I see is in the marriage and lives of the Cambridges. When (if) William becomes king (a frightening thought) there will be no place left to hide. He’s never given the impression of wanting to serve the people, just to live a luxurious lifestyle (like Melania Trump). So there’s an apt comparison. It’s not that he’s better than Harry (he isn’t), he’s co-equals with Melania Trump. Hideous.

  79. Emily_C says:

The UK doesn’t even have harsh winters, and when it’s “bitter cold” there it’s news. The temps barely drop below freezing, and that’s rare. Will and Kate were dressed for a nice fall day in their sheep n’golf outing, by my standards. Meghan, however, lived in Toronto for years. Where it actually gets very cold, and stays very cold, for a long time.

And the royal family should be about a man laughing at his wife? How does this pass with anyone at all over there?

  80. Deeanna says:

The bald look is certainly not a good one for William. Along with his often screwed into a scowl countenance, he really is unpleasant looking.

It is really too bad that he did not make the decision to buy himself some hair when he first started to lose his own! Even now, I think he should just go for it. Women change their hair all the time. Why can’t men?

  81. Jayna says:

This is Wooten clearly laying out a very clear threat. He’s not getting their cooperation on what he wants storywise, and so he went after them very passive-aggressively to scare them into submission. ” Start cooperating with me. If you don’t, you know what I have on you, and it will come out.”

  82. intheknow says:

Kate should avoid Paris for the rest of her life.

  83. Melanie P says:

    Neigh-neigh,,,Kate’s big horsey-laugh 🐎
