As we discussed last week, it felt like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were taking a pause to regroup a bit after their Montana vacation a few weeks ago. Jennifer returned to Miami, and Ben stayed in LA. People Magazine said that J.Lo did return to LA for a few days last week and she saw Ben, but then she returned to Miami. Ben was seen out with his kids in LA on Saturday and I wondered if Jennifer really was playing it smart and making Ben chase her. She was. Ben flew to Miami on Sunday and there are photos! Ben seems to be staying at Jennifer’s Miami house, and he even stepped out on the balcony a few times to smoke. Jennifer stepped out on the balcony as well, just to make sure the paps got some shots. And then this happened:

So some lucky paparazzi got their money shots, Bennifer in the same frame, yet again. I hope Ben is ready for the Hot Girl Summer he’s about to have. She’s going to put fake tanner on him again and make him laser off the phoenix back tattoo. I enjoy the fact that he came to her too – it shows me that maybe this redux will be a little bit more on her terms. And now that they’re in Miami, can they please go on a yacht together so Ben can kiss her ass and we can fully recreate the “Jenny From the Block” video?

Yeah, I feel like younger people only ever see the photos or footage from their first few months together so they over romantisize what really was. I remember that by the time they got engaged, there were already mummers that it was a band-aid proposal. And those rumors werent helped by the fact that she had to call him in the middle of an interview for permission to confirm their engagement. Like dude was planning on hiding an engagement after parading everything else?? And sure enough he delayed setting a date and then never got down the aisle despite her very manifest desire to do so. She was way more eager than him especially rolling past the 6th month

Paparazzis invest in quality cameras so I’m guessing that the photographer ‘maybe’ is at quite a distance judging only by the quality of the images. Nowadays we also have to take into account drones and whatnot.

In this photo he is also as lean as he was in State of Play. We rewatched that on Netflix the other night. I can’t believe how young Ben looked in that movie. He was about 35 at the time. I’m so used to older, usually bloated Ben, until his last rehab stay seemed to put him back on track. Russell Crowe was so good in State of Play also.
