Disclaimer -I’m not mad at or blaming Olivia for this

WTF is up with grown men dating literal teenagers? She just got out of HS a few weeks ago. Six year age differences between people in their 30s or even late and earlier 20s (like 24 and 30) isn’t that bad but every year between 13-21 is like lifetimes of growth. Even if its not serious is ghastly – like what do 18 and 24 year olds even talk about or have in common? eww.

    • TaraBest says:

Have to agree. My ex-husband just married a girl fresh out of college who was in grade school when he and I got married. I get that she’s not a teenager anymore, but the age and life experience difference is so gross to see.

      • bettyrose says:

I don’t get it because I never even remotely had the desire to be the younger woman in a relationship. Sure, I enjoyed the occasional flirtation with an older guy (what young woman hasn’t used that to her advantage at some point?) but I enjoy my own generation so much. I attribute my long partnership to all our similar and shared life experiences.

    • rainbowkitty says:

That was my thought too. I know I’m 40 and definitely see things differently than people 20 years younger than me, but I think this is gross. She’s fresh out of highschool. She is still a child as far as I’m concerned. He is gross.

  2. greenmonster says:

I hoped you would talk about the Victoria’s Secret Karen.

    • Suze says:

My God, that video is INSANE. And the way she flips the second she realizes she’s being recorded – malicious weaponizing of her White Women Tears.

      • greenmonster says:

It is terrifying. I have never seen anything like this.

      • Anna says:

This white woman violence is inflicted on Black people every day, in overt ways and covert. This is why Black women are fucking exhausted, among many other reasons. We have to always be on our guard, always ready for the next Karen bullshit, the next police attack, anywhere and everywhere.

      • Miranda says:

And those White Woman Tears(TM) worked on her fellow customers, too. I’m so used to all these Karen tantrums that what they do rarely raises an eyebrow with me these days. What really gets me now is the indifference and disdain of all those onlookers. To hear them telling the Black woman “just walk away” and treating her like a villain because she rightly deduced that she needed to film that shit for her own protection…fucking infuriating. And of course none of them spoke up and backed the Black woman’s version of events when the cops came.

I think it’s time for us white people to acknowledge that it’s not enough to simply teach our kids about racism and bigotry, and how it relates to white privilege. We clearly need to teach them the importance of actually SPEAKING UP and weaponizing their privilege for the greater good. For now, we can only offer feeble apologies to PoC for the cowardice shown by white onlookers in every damn Karen video.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

      That woman needs a psychiatric evaluation…like a 5150.

      • HeyThere! says:

Omg I just googled ‘Victoria’s secret Karen’ and holy crap!!! Why didn’t the white lady just leave the store?! She needs help and I hope she gets it. Good for that black lady for recording. White lady tears can kill.

      • Anners says:

My favourite bit was when the Karen chased the woman around screaming “get away from me!!!” Like what the hell?!!! Also strange that nonstaff members or mall security intervened. That lady was unhinged and prolly shouldn’t be out in public.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Yes, Anners, her chasing the victim while screaming ‘get away from me’ was so unhinged.

    • Beenie says:

      I feel 50-50 on this.

On the one hand, the ONLY reason why her ass was not cuffed and forcibly dragged out of that store was because of her privilege as a white lady. This is peak “rules for thee but not for me” type behaviour. People in the store around her were hardly even glancing over! Can you imagine if a POC pulled this shit!?!?

However…. there’s clearly something seriously, seriously wrong here. She is having a full on mental break. I am NOT saying she doesn’t deserve consequences (she does) but I’d also like to see her get some medical help. I mean… just as a hypothetical what if we find out in a day or two that she is bipolar and what we are witnessing is her in the midst of an episode? I would feel sorry for her. But it bears repeating — a POC would never be given this much benefit of the doubt. Ugh, exhausting.

      • Misbehavin says:

I completely understand your point, but I would feel more inclined to give her sympathy if she hadn’t tried to assault the woman taking her video right as the camera started rolling and if her actions, personality and demeanor didn’t change the absolute instant she realized she was being filmed. I guess I’ve just seen it too many times to even try to care about her. You’re a much better person than I (no sarcasm!).

Also the cops literally saying they have no jurisdiction in the mall? Way to protect your tax payers, and I guess it’s open season at the mall? The purge: the mall coming soon. What butts.

      • BothSidesNow says:

I agree with you. The woman that was attacked, Ms. Ukenta, was minding her own business when VS Karen assaulted her. To add insult to injury, VS Karen had a “meltdown” over being recorded. Does she not realize that stores have security cameras everywhere? I find her switch from aggressor to victim suspect, as she didn’t seem to be bothered, or attack, anyone except Ms. Ukenta. The most infuriating situation was when the other white women in line, instructed Ms. Ukenta to leave the store or leave VS Karen alone. Why should she? She was assaulted and had every right to stay there until security was called. Sure, blame it on the black woman for upsetting Karen and expect HER to leave, not the one that assaulted her!

      • Golly Gee says:

@bothsidesnow, unless I missed something, they did try — unsuccessfully — to get Karen to leave the mall before they approached Ms. Ukenta, who just wanted to cash her coupon for *free* —but as it turns out not-so-free— panties and get the hell out of there.
Not fair, but I imagine they were desperate to get that bitch to stop screaming or becoming even more violent. She needed a glass of cold water dumped over her head.
The best part was how she went on and on about how she didn’t want the video being posted and everyone seeing her BS meltdown. That video is everywhere honey. Karma’s a bitch.

    • Darla says:

Where were the white people??? I had to shut the video because her voice was killing me, and if i was in that store some shit would have went down. And I’m not just internet talking…shit goes down when crazy stuff happens around me. I don’t tolerate that behavior. I wouldn’t have cared how it started if I didn’t see it start…she would have SHUT UP, or we both would have been arrested. I can’t take that noise. I just can’t take the noise.

    • Golly Gee says:

I’m literally shaking after watching that. Holy crap. I had to stop watching when the police officer was patronizing her. I wanted to slap him in the face. He was so dismissive and clearly wasn’t going to do a goddamn thing. And then saying he has no jurisdiction in the mall. So I guess you could go in there and shoot the place up and the police wouldn’t be able to do anything. Uh-huh.

      • greenmonster says:

The mall security, the store manager (who had to be called over by woman who got assaulted) and the police officer! They all treated the white woman with kids gloves and were dismissive to the acutal victim in this case.

      • Anna says:

Exactly. Unless you’re Black. So that should be edited to “I guess *if you’re white* you could go in there and shoot the place up and the police wouldn’t be able to do anything”. In fact, they would take you for lunch before booking you.

  3. ME says:

Lamar must think he actually has a shot. I mean I am sure the family will use him for some publicity…keep us guessing…maybe Khloe and Lamar do a pap stroll or get “caught” eating at a restaurant together. It’s like this family has such control over these men it’s weird.

  4. February-Pisces says:

Lamar barely got out of that family alive, why would he go back there. Once Khloe was done with her ‘nursing him back to health’ storyline they were done with him. I think Tristan has cheated one too many times and Kris needs to give Khloe a boost to make her look and feel more desirable. I get it, it sucks to be cheated on.

    • Pinellas Pixie says:

Yes, Kris needs to give Khloe an ego boost and Lamar needs money. He just boxed Aaron Carter for Pete’s sake so he is in financial need. I think Khloe and Lamar were popular together, she seemed happy and human. Like every other thing in their lives, this is invented to keep them relevant and probably to set up a storyline for their show on Hulu.

    • SKF says:

I don’t get this take. Did the family force him to develop a drug addiction and use hookers? Those were his problems, his issues. He has repeatedly said that Khloe was there for him. I can’t stand Khloe, or this family; but this narrative that he was some helpless victim that they ruined and destroyed is really gross. The evil women sucking the souls of innocent men. Give. Me. A. Break. Women are not responsible for the poor choices of men.

  5. Queen Meghan’s Hand says:

    I can see it now…
    INT. Calabasas Cafe – DAY
Lamar walks in somber. He sees Khloe’s sisters Kim and Kourtney, and mother Kris at a front table. He joins them. Kim gasps and moves to leave but—
    KOURTNEY: Let’s hear him out.
LAMAR: I know I haven’t been your favorite over the years—
    KOURTNEY: I wouldn’t say that.
    KIM: I would.
LAMAR: Well God knows I’ve made a lot of mistakes with Khloe. I effed it up many times. I know that. Look, I need your advice. You three know her better than anyone. The loves of her life and a guy’s just lucky to come in fourth. But I do love her. And if you think I have the slightest chance, I’ll be in the next Uber to her estate. I’ll roam her DMs. I’ll do anything. But if you think she is happy, well I wouldn’t want to wreck that for her and I’ll be history.

Kris reaches for Lamar’s hand and says
    KRIS: Go get our girl.

    Go get your girl, Lamar!!

  6. Maryam says:

John Kennedy is a Repuke senator, not Democratic.

    • Keats says:

Based on that chyron, John boy was on FOX to spew some transphobia, so the first half of the sentence about FOX News continuing to be awful remains correct!

  7. Darla says:

I’ve always thought men’s objectification of cartoon characters was really weird. What weirdos.

  8. ME says:

I wonder if the rumors about Kourtney being engaged and Kylie being pregnant are true. This family sure has a lot of content for their new show. Poor Khloe needs a storyline too…I guess Lamar will do for now.

  9. Rose says:

I just can’t get over how beautiful Khloe’s face was before she got all that work done. Girl you were original, unique, gorgeous just the way you are. This didn’t have to happen 😭

  10. nya says:

I don’t understand what the fuzz is about Timothee Chalamet. I don’t see talent (he’s not bad, just ok) and I most definitely don’t see looks or personality. He’s a void of charisma.

In a way, he’s kinda the new Benedict Cumberbatch in that he’s an average, odd-looking white man who gets by thanks to a rabid fanbase of white women.

  11. Really? says:

The pearl-clutching over age gap relationships is hilarious. Oh no, 18 and 24, how dare he!! I met my husband when I was 24 and he was 41. My best friend met hers when she was 26 and he was 45. We are now both close to 40. And we both have the happiest, healthiest, most long-standing relationships of our entire circle. You all stay mad tho.

    • Maria says:

24 and 26 are significantly different ages from 18.
You sound the maddest, lol. Trust me, nobody’s checking out your marriage.

    • nya says:

lmao you’re the one who sounds mad “Really?”

Got something to prove, hun? Trust, nobody’s checking your marriage.

Get all that toxic age gap justification outta here. Don’t nobody want that.
