The Bennifer Summer continues!! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are not merely content to recreate their most iconic moments – Butt-Rubbing Szn 4 Eva – they also want to create new memories, new iconic moments. A Bennifer World Tour. For three days, Ben and Jen were on the yacht in the South of France and partying in St. Tropez. Now the yacht has taken them to Capri, where they went sight-seeing, posed for photos and did some shopping. TMZ noted how they seemed to be hamming it up for the paparazzi:
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are perfectly aligned and in step with one another as they continue their romantic Euro getaway to celebrate her birthday … and we mean that literally.
TMZ’s obtained footage of the couple strolling through the quaint alleyways of Capri Tuesday … where they seem to have landed after a pit stop in Saint-Tropez over the weekend. As you can see, they were hand-in-hand … with their team fully surrounding them.
They didn’t let that kill the mood though … Bennifer went about their business, taking in the sights and leisurely enjoying the city.
Anyhoo … eyewitnesses tell us it was quite the eventful day for them — apparently, they stopped for a bite at a place called Ristorante Faraglioni … but we’re told there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of eating. Our sources on the ground say it was mostly them hamming it up for paps.
We’re also told they popped into a jewelry store at one point … but it’s unclear what, if anything, they bought. After that … our sources say they hit up a vintage Chanel store. So, they’re definitely in vacation mode — shopping, chillin’ and soaking in the atmosphere.
One man’s “hamming it up for the paps” is another man’s love language. I think Ben and Jennifer both look relaxed and happy. They’re comfortable with the attention they’re getting and the chaos they’re ensuing. They are Leos, proud and tall.
Visually, they look great with each other right now too. Ben has easily lost 20 pounds in three months and he’s looking downright svelte. Did she put him on a diet??? LOL. Jen looks amazing too. I really want her straw tote. Versace, right? Her outfit is super-cute too.

I walked 5 miles in NYC on Sunday and in Birkenstocks and my feet were kind of torn up. I should have worn my sneakers of course. I have NO idea how women walk around in shoes like Jlo is wearing here. To me it’s like alien. I’m mystified. Also have no desire to even try it.

@rainbowkitty that’s funny, I use both (I’m american.) My sneakers are my sneakers – they may be Nike or New balances or whatever, but I don’t use them for exercise, they’re for walking around town, going to the zoo, etc, and then my “running shoes” are for running, even though they may be pretty much the same thing lol.
No rainbow, but when I was growing up in the 70’s that’s what we always called them in my family. I know everyone says tennis shoes or kicks or running shoes nowadays. I guess I am just old, not Canadian! 🙂
I am American and say “sneakers”. I’m also old enough to remember when “running shoes” became a thing! Back then in the olden days (1970s) “tennis shoes” were a separate footwear category. They had a special, smoothish zig-zag tread, to not damage the courts. Sneakers were mostly PF Flyers, Keds and Converse.

@ TeamMeg, I am with you in the age department as well. We had “sneakers” as we grew up. Nothing fancy, not sport specific, just plain sneakers, which were worn on everyday occasions and not sport specific. Yes, I am a boomer. Plus we could only wear skirts in elementary school and had to wear shorts under our skirts for P.E. too!
I’d bet good money that once the shots were taken, she changed into other shoes (which are probably in that tote!), or they sat down in a cafe somewhere lol. You can NOT “stroll” in heels like that, esp. with a sisal footbed. It is NOT comfortable at all!
She should always style Ben. On his own he’s awful and how she curates his looks and probably diet really puts a spotlight on that.

Let the make over commence, which started after the plans to “get together” were drawn out, in agreement, without any complaints or refusal.

The one thing I love about JLo is, she never pushed the “I’m a mommy now, it’s all about my children” narrative. Yes, she’s messy at times but seems to always live her best life, critics be damned.

I don’t think there is anything wrong about the way Ben is dressed.. He has on a nice , blue button down Henley shirt not a graphics T-shirt like he normally wears( not that there isn’t anything wrong with a great tee, but not for all occasions) & nice khakis. Those wrinkle- free pants usually have polyester in them & are not nearly as cool ( as in temp) than cotton khakis. Ben is not a wannabe model & is clearly not comfortable ” posing” & “”primping” for the cameras like JL JL’s source was quoted as saying that JL does not feel like she has to compete with Ben. Clearly, at one point JL felt she had to be in competition, while in a relationship! I think when Ben is with JL going forward, he will be sure that giant Phoenix tattoo is not exposed , though.
Even when Ben & JL did that 1st video, Ben did not take off his shirt. Looking back on that infamous video, (compared to how far we have come with technogy), it was really bad!!!

Yeah. What a vacation: surrounded by her personal photographer and all of her entourage. It feels like such a performative vacation showcasing their great love rekindled. It felt hotter the first time around, not so staged and managed every step of the way.
I’d hate it too! Yet it seems to me that most celebrities don’t mind that and some even love it. They are in this business for attention from others in every form… I used to model and act but stopped, because I’m too much of an introvert.

Such a fabulous, magnificent and decades long romance that would outshine generations to come!!
My guess is that she lives a very clean lifestyle. And that’s what is better for him. So maybe he’s gotten it out of his system and realizes he can have ‘it all’ with her, incl clean living. So it’s a good story?! (Still curious how this will end though…) but I agree it’s top gossip!

Capri is not that great compared to many other places in southern Italy. Sicily and Calabria come to mind and certainly less expensive than Capri.

No not the only one. Things that make him not attractive to me are his teeth/mouth area, his fake looking beard -let the gray through it looks shoe polished on-although his cheeks are sunken now so I think he needs the beard. Someone just called it a punchable face- I would call it mopey and hangdog and not attractive most of the time but then I don’t like his teeth so I rather he not smile. My hubs is better although not as tall. I’ll give him that- although Ben’s bow legged.

I’m sure Ana and Jen are relieved not to be part of his circus. Even if they loved him at one time, they’re over it now and there’s always chaos surrounding Ben no matter who he’s been with. Which is why he’s such a gossip magnet. This is good for gossip watchers but I don’t know how good for either of them in the long run. But that’s their life (and their kids who can get hurt or just embarrassed but they have other parents too).

Nobody poses in doorways like JLo is doing, perfectly positioning legs and bag for their most flattering angle, due to “love language.” They’re in full “look at us!!!” mode, and Jenny is LOVING it.
I just don’t understand why Ben is jumping back into the very thing he ran from years ago — the constant posing and fame-whoring, not being able to go anywhere without a retinue of security people, professional groomers and photographers, assistants to carry their stuff, living life on camera ALL.THE.TIME. I think the two of them have such out of control egos that they’re not happy when they’re not on display, but he gets sick of it after a while and opts out at the 11th hour. This won’t end well.
I do crisis management as part of my job. His star has fallen and he needs a road back to his former glory. This is the first stop. It looks like he’s about to go off the rails with this circus but he’s ‘going to realize’ how ‘destructive’ this is for him in a couple of months, re-devote himself to his kids and male friends for a year and then find a woman like Amal Clooney.

My sister said the same thing. He was at his peak at 45. He had everything and more great jobs than he knew what to do with. He was golden in Hollywood for acting/directing/screenwriting jobs. And then it all fell apart for him. Batman flopped. His directing the next Batman was out. During that time, his next movie he directed and acted in flopped. He was drinking. He was putting filler in his face and lasering his skin to the point it looked like baby’s skin. (Not good for a handsome man). His drinking intensified. Three years or more of that. He was lost, bloated. It was very sad. No person would do that to themselves willingly. He hit rock bottom several times.
Small jobs after that. The Way Back he was amazing in, but came out during the pandemic. He wants to be relevant again. He pretends he’s above all of this, but this is the most staged, performative roll out of a couple I have ever seen. If Ben was at his peak like four years ago or more as a director, he wouldn’t be caught dead doing this. Not that he wouldn’t be in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez. He just wouldn’t be doing this big of an obvious PR stunt on their vacation. He’s always talked about his hatred of the unrelenting press attention to their relationship. And, yet, look at him now.
I always felt Ben lacked self awareness. Not a dumb man by any means but lacking in judgment. Here is NYT doing a profile of Matt and Ben. The old quote: I could sell magazine covers but not movie tickets came up and the reporter asked him to revisit that. His quote: Affleck….“In your asking about it there’s a subtle implication or judgment,” he said, “that I chose to seek out attention, and Matt didn’t. He and I have both assiduously tried to maintain our privacy.” He added, “I’m not a psychiatrist, but I would think that the process of suspending disbelief when watching an actor would be more difficult for an audience if they knew more about the person they’re watching.” I think he has a real disconnect in his mind. He is a true attention whore and he’s been doing it since JLo round one! He refuses to see it. Dang. He’s gonna regret this and I’ll just say FU Ben!

I was just thinking how long it takes her to get ready in the morning. Having a team, rather than doing it herself, probably helps since she can get her hair and makeup done simultaneously, probably, but still? I don’t know if I could do it on a regular basis. I remember I once had a roommate who’d spend forever on makeup, we were always late everywhere, and it really took a toll on our friendship because I found it mega-annoying that I had to prioritize her cat eye over actual fun.
