People are amazed that Paul Rudd is 52 years old

Paul Rudd turned 52 on April 6. He looks good. He’s looked good most of his life. Many people think Paul turned 26 and stopped aging. Every time a photo of Paul appears, the world is once again stunned by how amazing he looks. Recently, he and Dan Levy had dinner in London. The owner posted a photo of her excitement that Paul returned abd that he brought Dan with him:

That was sweet. I’d be stoked too if Ant-Man came back for seconds at my place of business. But Twitter exploded with Paul’s refusal to age. I mean, they acted as if they’d never seen him before:

Paul does look good. Plus he’s a good sport. I remember during the Clueless reunion, he gave away his secret, “I’m 80 years old on the inside. In here, pure darkness — and a little moisturizer.” While Breckin Meyer revealed he sucked the lifeblood out of babies. Paul also said once that he was born with an old face and has just aged into it, which is kind of true. As is Blackamazon’s comment on Twitter about him being a “specific kind of attractive.” There is a certain look that when aged, becomes hotter.

However, what I’m a little more interested in is the speculation that this restaurant tweet brought up – why are Paul and Dan having dinner in London?! Hmmm? Is it possible that Dan might be there for Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, which is currently in production in London? Because OMG the thought of Dan Levy and Michael Peña riffing off each other might just get me through the rest of this year. Add Judy Greer to that equation and I won’t know how to contain myself.

Major crush on him here… he’s adorably handsome, funny/goofy and always looks so warm and approachable.

  2. Darla says:

I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s everyone’s hyper over reaction to this guy, but Rudd does zero for me and I find him so uninteresting. Meanwhile. Dan Levy is sitting right there. He’s soo gorgeous and I love him, and if he’s in Antman, well, then that would go from the Marvel movie I’m least likely to see to definitely will see.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

Yeah am on the Dan Levy train – everyone else can have Rudd.

    • tempest prognosticator says:

I’m with you. Dan Levy>Paul Rudd. Nothing against Paul. He’s just… cute… in a not particularly interesting way.

    • LadyMTL says:

And here I am wondering why everyone loses their minds over Dan Levy, lol (I feel disloyal even saying that, since I am Canadian.) I find him vaguely annoying, though I love his dad Eugene Levy.

As for Paul Rudd, I find he seems likeable but that’s about it?

      • Darla says:

Well, I fell in love with David from Schitt’s Creek. My bff and I would watch it during the shutdown and we always thought I’m David and she’s Alexis.

And then, Dan is just gorgeous IMO. I love looking at him. And he’s really funny.

      • Purplehazeforever says:

I’m here to say I love Eugene Levy…that is all..

      • sally says:

@Purplehazeforever Hahahaha, I’m with you, I’ll take Daddy Levy over both of them too.
I’m not sure Levy is in London for Antman tbh. Boy has been enjoying his Hot Girl Summer and travelling through Europe, hanging out with Aubrey Plaza, Andrew Scott (I’m not envious, not at all…) and a ton of other famous people. He’s vocal about being vaccinated and quarantining/testing very often, so it’s not as careless as it sounds, but it really could just be them enjoying time together in London.

      • Esmom says:

Sally, Whoa now. Andrew Scott, now that is someone who is smoking hot, imo.

I like all of them. They are talented and funny and humble and not problematic. Refreshing.

      • Haylie says:

I like David fine. I think he’s cute!

But Eugene Levy went firm playing nerd to Silver Fox!

  3. Jayna says:

I loved him so much in “Mute” on Netflix, a movie. His character was wild. Justin Theroux was great also.

    • Kristen says:

I had not heard of this before, but thank you because OMG Justin Theroux, Paul Rudd, AND Alexander Skarsgård!!?!

      • Twin falls says:

How have I never heard of this before?!? Thank you!

      • Darla says:

I haven’t either and I love Skarsgard. Like to the point where it’s really hard for me to get through an episode of True Blood without going off into dreamland involving Eric Northman biting my neck amongst other things. Has anyone ever been hotter than Skarsgard during his Eric Northman years? I just don’t know. My God.

      • Darla says:

Maybe Momoa right now. I mean, that’s a tough one for me. Don’t worry I can have this conversation all by myself.

      • Esmom says:

Darla, lol. Skarsgard has never done a thing for me. But Momoa…I can relate, lol. As well as having conversations by myself!

      • Jayna says:

It was written and directed by Duncan Jones, David Bowie’s son. He had two prior movies, Moon and Source Code, which were great. Moon he wrote and directed and was his debut movie. It’s a great sci-fi indie movie. Source Code was very good, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Mute was Duncan’s passion project. He finally got it made through Netflix. It didn’t get great reviews, but I watched it anyway because I’m a fan of Duncan’s work. I enjoyed it, but it was Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux who made this movie. Alexander was beautiful in it. He’s mute, though, so no dialogue, per se, from him. They were fantastic, Paul especially. It’s Paul Rudd like you’ve never seen him before. It had a dark German futuristic vibe.

      • Anna says:

Sweet lord, okay that movie’s next in the queue! 😛
@Darla you are cracking me up! lol

    • CJW says:

Jayna, thanks so much for the Mute mention, just watched it Amazeballs!!!!!

  4. Jessica says:

I’ve loved Paul Rudd for decades, he’s great. Just watched Baz Lurthman’s Romeo + Juliet over the weekend and my boyfriend forgot Paul Rudd was in it (Paris)! He’s aged, he looks like a baby in R+J, but he’s aging well. He’s the one I would be heartbroken if he turned out to be problematic. He seems like such a good guy.

  5. LightPurple says:

Now I need Dan Levy to be in the next Ant-Man and an exasperated response from Bobby Carnavale.

  6. Katherine says:

    He looks very good

  7. BusyLizzy says:

He looks amazing. I wish to look as good as him when I am 52.
**buys more retinol, sunscreen and hyaluronic acid right away**

    • Esmom says:

Lol. As long as you’re going shopping, my dermatologist said to also look for products with vitamin C.

  8. August Rain says:

Dan Levy could do wonders for Paul Rudd, who is a great actor but mostly does stale humor (personal opinion, of course but I find his choice of films very old school / not ageing well kind of comedy).
He was in a film with Steve Coogan that I loved called Ideal Home. He does well with more sophisticated humor. The film is a bit problematic because both actors play a gay couple and well, no gay actor was hired to play the part but it is more about raising a kid with unconventional life values. Rudd is super hot in it with a nice beard.

Ps: his Hot Ones interview is my favourite of all time. He is genuinely quirky and smart!

  9. Meercat says:

I guess Paul Rudd gets to use his olive oil in peace. I wonder why that is…..?

    • August Rain says:

      My thoughts exactly.

    • Darla says:

Right? Looking at him, to me it’s clear he has been chemical peeled to within an inch of his life, and is a copious user of botox. Which btw, me too! But there’s a big double standard here.

    • Queen Meghan’s Hand says:

Cleansing, moisturizing, and lasers, micro currents, Botox, filler, chemical peels, cortisone shots, and olive oil.

But truly it says something that Marc Jacobs shades a woman when so many men who are getting invasive and non-invasive procedures and just don’t ever really have to explain because they never get asked.

    • sally says:

Tbf, I feel like he hasn’t been falling back on it for too long. He really looked much younger for quite a while, I’d say he started with the more invasive procedures around the time CATW hit? So it has kinda become a meme to say that he looks so young, just like Keanu Reeves, who also did stuff to his face and no one ever acknowledges it.

    • Pusspants says:

Good point about no one talking about what Paul Rudd does to keep his skin looking young. It’s unlikely to be solely due to good genetics. I wish he was asked about this in a non-joking way. And I really am curious what he does because it is done well.

  10. Golly Gee says:

I loved the Dorian Gray tweet together with the devilish accompanying picture! 😂😂😂

  11. Southern Fried says:

Big Slick KC is an annual charity event for Children’s Mercy Hospital started and hosted on by Rob Riggle, Paul and other Kansas City celebrities, Eric Stonestreet, Dave Koechner, Jason Sudeikis. They’ve sponsored poker games, bowling, baseball games, online auctions and brought in a ton of money. That crew also go back for Royals All Star games. It’s one of the best times of year to visit since chances of running into them hanging out together are high. They’ve been known to come to bars we frequent and it’s crazy fun. I go back specifically for Big Slick and KU basketball games. And yes Paul looks 30 at most.

  12. Eh says:

Dan Levy in the MCU is exactly what I need.

  13. Kristen says:

Paul Rudd is 14 years older than Dan Levy (who looks and is great) and looks like the younger one. That is all.

    • Darla says:

I don’t agree, but so what if that was true? Why are we always worshipping at the alter of who looks youngest? Levy is much better looking and way hotter IMO. Rudd has always been a mayo on white bread sandwich. I like gulden’s spicy brown mustard myself.

    • MC says:

No he categorically and objectively does not. I get being a fan of someone but come on. This is pure fan-goggles and is a ridiculous comment.

  14. Lena says:

Well the poster above said in person he looks 30 so I’ll take your word for it but as far as the picture goes it is filtered. Paul’s work is not on my radar. I don’t remember him in anything I’ve seen except This is the End and clueless. No desire to see anyone be an Antman!

  15. ClaireB says:

Every time I see Paul Rudd, I think how great his plastic surgeon must be, because I absolutely disbelieve the narrative that he hasn’t had something surgical done, in addition to Botox, fillers, etc… Tom Cruise used to look like this too and I always wondered who his surgeon was. TC has gone too far now, but 10 years ago he looked natural and young.

None of these people look like this naturally and I hate that it’s being sold to us like that.

  16. psl says:

Yes, Paul Rudd looks fantastic. But I am so sick of people acting like he and J Lo are these rare unicorns. There are many people in their 50’s that look incredible, WITHOUT the help of dermatologists, trainers, chefs…….No one can believe it when I tell them I am 50, and I am poor!

  17. TabithaD says:

It’s a great restaurant BTW (Darjeeling Express) – I’d highly recommend if you are visiting London. Run by an all-female team too.

  18. TeeBee says:

My husband (51 almost 52) has a lot of the same features as Paul Rudd, except the hair. It is amazing what a good head of hair does for a man. It maintains youth, exudes sex appeal, looks good even greying. So Paul Rudd owes a lot to his genes and his stylist (not sure if he’s gone grey yet, but his dark hair contributes to his youthfulness). But there is a babyishness to my hubby’s face, full cheeked and sweet, even with stubble and that helps Paul too. So, Paul’s good looks as he ages has a lot to do with what he has naturally, and I think he gives off a vibe of just being happy. Happy with life, in the moment, which I really hope is the case. It seems a charmed life, rare in the business, so it seems he stands out even more.

  19. The Recluse says:

Rudd is a charmer and a cutie. Fortunately, he seems to be a cool and nice guy too.

  20. lucy2 says:

I would love to have dinner with those 2 guys, what a fun and funny duo.

Paul does look great – maybe he’s lucky and takes care of himself, maybe he gets a little help, but whatever it is, he looks great. I would guess 10 years younger than he actually is.

  21. Anna says:

I want to know who that gorgeous woman is standing behind Levy. Is that Asma Khan or is the IG the name of the person who took the pic? Even with mask, you can tell she is stunningly beautiful.

    • BeanieBean says:

I assumed it was Asma herself. And she is quite lovely. I love how her food is presented, too! I want to go to her restaurant now.
