Again, I am asking you to please enjoy this wonderful Summer of Bennifer. Too many people are spinning too many wild and negative conspiracies about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez at this point! They are in love. They visibly adore each other. He pursued her. He’s happy (for now). Everyone is making an effort to get along. And Emme Anthony’s Muniz’s entrance as a gossip subplot in all of her blue-haired, granny-style glory is extremely welcome too. Pretty soon, J.Lo and Ben are going to be hard at work on separate projects thousands of miles away from each other and we won’t be gifted with all of these photos. Let the Bennifer wash over you and enjoy it.
These are photos from Tuesday, where Ben and J.Lo apparently spent the day together, chilling out and doing whatever. These pics are from outside Ben’s house, and you can see Ben passionately kissing Jennifer goodbye, then giving a hug and a cheek kiss to the woman with J.Lo. Again, Ben looks happy and relaxed. He’s not miserable and contemptuous of the attention. He walked J.Lo and her friend off of his property knowing that the paparazzi were waiting to document their interaction and he happily pulled Jennifer close and kissed her. He’s in love. He’s happy. Now, will he stay that way? I don’t know. But I hope so!
Page Six said the other day that it’s unlikely we’ll get Bennifer at the September Met Gala. I’m still crossing my fingers for it anyway. Hell, I would love to see them at the Venice Film Festival too!! Please??

I am most definitely loving this summer of Bennifer.
I am too!! I hope that they are older and wiser this time around. When kids are involved, I always tend to want to err on the caution of protecting them, but JLO doesn’t seem to be at the same place, but that’s her business not mine. As for how they seem to be, they both seem happy and that is what should matter, we just get to enjoy watching them!
I just love seeing them together. I think it’s great that they can find love again after all these years.
I love these two. So happy for them both. And for us who get to watch it all unfold. Meanwhile I’m sitting in my lockdown lounge trying not to turn into a divorced alcoholic lol
This feels like it did when they were first dating and I love it!! (Fingers crossed Ben is older and wiser😬. Also, it is delightful that JLo allows her kids the freedom to be who they are-blue hair, granny garb and all 🥰)
You know, I don’t have any particular investment in either of them as individuals–don’t love them or hate them–but I love them together, or the idea of them, as a rom-com style second chance at love, even with all their past messiness. They honestly do look really happy with one another, and even with all the PDA, the PDA seems to be of the “I’m gonna do this anyway” variety vs. the “look at me!” variety you see with some lesser famous people.
Also, I wish I could get away with formal sweatpants the way J.Lo does. But wait, we’re still in a pandemic–I can get away with it!
Alright, I guess they’re a real couple.
The woman that won’t let herself be single goes back to her alcoholic ex fiancé that repeatedly cheated and lied to her. And they need the paps to capture all these moments for their PR.
I keep coming back to this—no one is forcing them to be together. At the beginning I thought it was harmless stunting but they obviously enjoy each other.
It still feels like stunting with friendly paps always nearby. Just don’t ask for privacy when this implodes… which, I’ll be here for.

Bennifer is harmless, I don’t understand all the negativity. They are in love and in lust and they aren’t hiding, i find them really cute and I love every minute of it.

We still are in the middle of a pandemic, the world is on fire, this kind of light old school gossip is what we need, they are harmless.
I have nothing significant to add but seeing pics of JLo in her black turtleneck in August boggles my mind as the state I reside in continues to experience a summer of records breaking heat wave and drought.
It’s mostly been dry and hot but this week has turned humid & hot 🔥🥵

They are starting to grow on me and hard to stay disapproving. Looks like they’re enjoying their time together.
What I remember is, JLo and Ben were hot as hell the first time, Ben was rubbing and kissing the booty on a boat/ship, that was hot, then it burned and left JLo almost at the alter. This new romance just seems to fast, IMO, from 0 to 100 mph in a minute. In April JLo was in a committed relationship and engaged. Between April to august, JLo is in another committed relationship and madly in love, how is that possible, 4 months the love died.
I know ARod cheated and she dropped him in a second. Ben cheated, gambled, and used drugs and alcohol, they say and was a hot mess and embarrassed her, yet she forgives him, took him back and is madly in love 🤨.

Totally agree! This relationship has been going WAY too fast! JL was hurt very badly by AR no matter what! You don’t spend 4 years with someone (2 years engaged) & not be hurt & angry! It is ok to show your children that you have feelings & deal with them together, especially when your children have bonded together as a family! Don’t just jump head first into another relationship ( even if it is a re- united one) I agree I don’t know how love can die in just 4 mos or even 6 mos.!
Ben is the only guy that she claimed that she had no choice but to call off their engagement. He is the one that got away…
Ben will be in London & Texas in September busy filming. It will interesting to see if JL flies to London & Texas to visit him on set.
You know, I’m sure she was hurt and angry about A-Rod cheating on her but maybe the 1st time he contacted someone on social media (although she stayed w/ him) it hurt & embarrassed JLo. She remained engaged to him because she may think it was just an aberration, and let’s face it, love doesn’t die quickly. However, deep down I bet JLo lost some trust in him & maybe a little bit of that dewy, wide-eyed love? Each other time ARod does cheats, a bit more trust/love is lost until there’s far less. What I’m saying is that by the time she’s able to call it quits on the engagement, there’s a mix of anger & embarrassment there and it’s not so hard to imagine her turning to a “new” or diff. person who makes you feel wanted. Who among us wants to feel the pain if they don’t have to? (Yes, I know it’s part of maturity.) It’s like that old proverb, the best way to get over a man – is to get UNDER a man.
And as to the speed of moving on w/ another person, when you already know that 2nd person, it’s like an old college love and the courtship dance is put on fast-forward. I’m not saying it’s wise or anything, but I think her actions are understandable. Of course, depending on when or how Bennifer 2 ends, she may just be delaying the pain of a breakup & may feel twice as devastated. Especially since her romances are public. Who knows? I wish them well.
I am enjoying the regular updates. It’s like a real life romcom. The world can be so bleak and we need some Bennifer escapism.

This was clearly a business meeting, which continued into a dinner meeting. As Lainey just said about Jennifer Lopez …”this woman loves love. But she is a boss. And the boss part of her is not on pause just because she’s in love with an old love again…I have to agree!!!

So, new article from People Magazine. Stating Ben & Jen spent his bday evening with the twins, and Jen had a cake for him (because he wanted a low-key bday). There was no mention of his kids being there, just that he had spent time with them earlier in the day.
I wonder why the kids weren’t at the party? Huh
I’m sure his kids were there too. Garner is in New York and there was a video of him taking his mom with his children. Maybe they weren’t mentioned because the people article was a Jlo source
I disagree. The people article was very specific that he had birthday cake that night at her house with her twins. And that’s how he wanted it so they said although he was all for strutting around like a lion last year. If his kids were there they would have said their kids not her twins. His mother was with him and his kids during the day at someone’s (normal size) house and they left carrying numerous presents, so they probably stayed home with grandma.
@Lena maybe Jennifer Garner, knowing how this all works, asked him to keep his kids out of the press. So maybe THEY WERE but got left out of the People mention. Perhaps, that’s why Garner made that comment awhile back about not minding the relationship as long as ‘his kids were left out of shenanigans’ probably not her exact words but something close to that.
I don’t agree with Garner too much. She’s still trying to micromanage Ben, I do get protecting your kids or placing limits, but I think it’s also very convenient for her. Of course, I’m only speculating.
Jules I just hope your back doesn’t hurt with all that stretching your doing. If they were there they would have been mentioned as being there by the source. There is no complicated plot to hide them from the press (obviously).
@ Lena no stretching at all. You’re really hoping that Affleck’s kids weren’t there (and maybe they weren’t!) or that they haven’t privately spent time w/ Lopez but I believe it’s highly likely they have. I mean Jennifer picked out those necklaces recently so when did she present them to the girls? Most likely recently maybe even at Ben’s birthday dinner to mark the occasion.
Oh, me too! I love this! I’m beginning to think that after a time of being apart, they got back in contact and have been for years. Not necessarily dating, but getting to know each other again and being friends. That would explain how comfortable everything is with them, and how quickly. Not that JLo every moves slow…but this is different. Genuine.
