They aren’t just going to overturn Roe, they’re going to overturn Griswold too. Without Griswold, there is no Roe and overturning it would make it more difficult to reinstate the broad provisions of Roe. No Griswold means the state can dictate the ability to access any and all methods of contraception and have far more say in issues of women’s reproductive health. They stacked the Court with people who aren’t just anti-Roe; they’re anti-Griswold.
Wow they really do want to take us back to the 1950s.
I disagree on this legal analysis. I doubt they are going to overrule Roe directly. Even most Republicans know that would be a massive galvanizing moment that would not work out for them. They aren’t stupid. Griswold is also not a main target because its actual holding was very limited.
They are going after Casey. Casey established the precedent that abortion can be restricted, provided that the restrictions do not impose an “undue burden” on the seeker. But it never defined undue burden. That was left open. All they need to do is to basically render the undue burden requirement moot. It’s “death by a thousand cuts.”
I feel like we are in the worst Catch 22. If we mobilize and are somehow able to keep Roe and Griswold, we’ll still get decimated by bad rulings on the environment, voting rights, civil rights, you name it. In ACB’s nomination hearings we saw Sheldon Whitehouse’s poster of 5-4 decisions that only squeaked through because of RBG, and it was a horrifying look into the future where all of our rights are marginalized into thin air.
Things like women’s health issues/abortion availability, environmental laws, health care expanded and basically anything progressive will cease in red states and expand in blue states. And gop minority will rule this country through gerrymandering and stoking racial hatred for the next decade. Glad I live in calif.

I have no thoughts on Kourtney or Megan, but I do have to say I really like the Skims pieces I have. They hold up really well and weren’t as expensive as I would’ve thought. So good for Kim on that front, although she still annoys the s*** out of me lol

I can’t say I hate that SKIMS photo shoot. They both look gorgeous, albeit completely unnatural. However I’m confused about who their target audience is supposed to be? This looks more like something for men to gawk at. The underwear looks nice despite the soft porn advertising.
