Really not seeing the need to “rehabilitate” a Christian fundamentalist leader, the vile culture that dominated my childhood. Glad the Pajiba article points out reality there.

  2. Leah says:

Oh I thought it was about Licorice Pizza, the record store. I was expecting a clerks meets vinyl meets bell bottoms or something.

That said, love the Bowie song.

What does Dick Wolf have on the executives at CBS? Most of their programming is his productions. A little weird that OG L&O comes back but the charm of it is the cast of characters and it feels like they’ll have to rebuild it from the ground up.

    • HeatherC says:

L&O franchises are on NBC, so he’s got some dirt on both networks lol

I’m excited for Law and Order to come back, the cast always changed (Briscoe/Curtis was my favorite pair) but the story telling was top notch

(Also, Dick Wolf, if you’re reading this, I’m still ticked off that you never found a reason for Dets Briscoe [Jerry Orbach] and Green [Jesse L Martin] to randomly break out into song, not even once)

That Buzzfeed article was satisfying and disheartening all at the same time.

The retort to “do your own research” was great, I’m going to remember that one.

    • BeanieBean says:

Agreed. I really had no idea there was so much stupidity in the world til I saw it in black & white like that. At least I got some useful helpful comebacks if I ever face this in real life (doubtful, since I’m still hermiting).

    • lucy2 says:

There’s a few enjoyable ones in there, but wow, some people are deeply, deeply stupid.

There have been a lot of bad wigs in the history of moviemaking, and Cooper’s is a contender. Which is weird, because didn’t Peters start life as a hairdresser? IRL his hair wasn’t as bad as this wig – very 70s, but not terribly awful within that context.

  6. Lila says:

    Oof that wig is ROUGH.

  7. TitRoFlo says:

Bingeing Law and Order on Amazon Prime – so addictive!

Have you tried the FBIs? They’re also by Dick Wolf and are pretty good. My husband doesn’t like Most Wanted and he fell asleep during last week’s International. I start off with regular FBI and by the end he’s napping so I watch the rest. I also watch the new L&O with Stabler and he doesn’t seem to like that. He doesn’t like ongoing story lines I think is the issue.
