Sometimes I just like to look at and talk about pretty people who don’t do a g–damn thing. So it is with Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo. As the years roll by, I think it’s fair to say that Pierre and Beatrice are one of the most attractive and stylish couples in Monaco. Pierre was the one who leveled up – Beatrice is an Italian aristocrat and theirs is an union of old European families, as well as a consolidation of wealth, power, beauty and connections. Plus, they just suit each other physically. She’s a tall, elegant swan and he’s tall, fit, bearded and tan. He’s a recreational sailor. She… wears pretty clothes. They have two sons, Stefano and Francesco. They seem genuinely happy together.
The Casiraghi “kids” don’t have to worry about royal protocols and such for two reasons. One, they’re not actually royal. And two, Monaco is not full of tightass pearl-clutchers. Pierre, Andrea and Charlotte all do “royal events” on their own or with their uncle, but they do those events because they want to be there, basically. It also means that the Casiraghi kids are free to “earn a living,” which is a joke because they’ve all inherited huge sums of money. Still, Charlotte models and acts as a muse for artists and designers. Andrea… um… well, who knows. And now Pierre is getting into modeling.
Dior has a new menswear ambassador — and they didn’t have to look far. Pierre Casiraghi, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and grandson of American actress turned royalty Grace Kelly, has joined the French fashion house as a representative, according to WWD. Pierre’s wife, Italian model Beatrice Borromeo, was previously named a Dior ambassador in February — which is not a surprise, given that she edged out the likes of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to be named the most stylist European royal by Tatler earlier this year.
“An icon of elegance, Pierre Casiraghi becomes Dior’s ambassador. The Monegasque businessman embodies the new facet of tailoring constantly reinvented by Kim Jones [creative of Dior’s men’s line], a timeless modernity,” Dior said in a press release about the 34-year-old businessman, who is eighth in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne.
“The Monegasque businessman”? I thought he was a gentleman sailor? He’s a businessman? Okay, he is, I just looked at his Wiki. He inherited businesses from his father, basically. As for the brand-ambassadorship, I wonder how much it pays. I don’t think these brand-ambassadorships pay that much, it’s mostly about the prestige and the free clothes. Still, it’s nice. Dior could do a lot worse. Maybe Dior is making a play to ingratiate the label with the Grimaldis following Karl Lagerfeld’s death – Lagerfeld was friendly with Prince Albert for many, many years, and Lagerfeld counted Charlotte Casiraghi as one of his Chanel brand-ambassadors and muses.
Anyway, pretty pictures.

So good looking. His brother used to be. (I haven’t seen updated pics in awhile). He just looks so unwashed tho. There’s definite bo going on.
For what it is worth, Beatrice was a journalist before they married and got her MA from the Columbia School of Journalism [shrug emoji]
Jinx lol.
Beatrice was also a journalist for a fair amount of time, she has a Master’s from Columbia. Their wedding was honestly one of the dreamiest I can remember, she looked otherworldly.
I loved all her dresses except the Alberta Ferretti. Wasn’t a fan of the sleeves on her Armani wedding dress but I still liked it. Her pink Valentino dress and the evening reception Armani dress were my absolute faves.
That white Armani reception dress…omg it was perfection. I just googled pics from that, it showed them approaching the venue in a boat and then Pierre helping Beatrice out. She looked unbelievably elegant.
Yeah she was not just a pretty face lol
Yes. I find her to be impressive in comparison to what kids from those uber wealthy, connected families sometimes end up doing. She has some legit journalistic work under her belt.
Makes sense. Beatrice is a brand ambassador for Dior as well. The Monegasque royals don’t even feel like royals to me. They just feel and look like regular rich aristocrats/people who are pretty and wear pretty clothes. Makes it fun to “watch” them because there’s zero expectations for them by the public (beyond Albert doing his Prince stuff) and royal watchers.
No.
Oh, now I remember: I don’t care.
I’ve always been so invested in this family, especially Andrea, he seems so intriguing. I like Pierre too, he seems cool.
Caroline of Monaco has some seriously beautiful children.
So it seems that only Brits are opposed to commercial dealings with their royalty. European royalty was always more progressive
None of the Casiraghi kids have titles and like most royal families in Europe, it’s only the direct line of heirs that really matter. Once Albert’s twins were born, Caroline’s children slipped into the royal rear view mirror although before that, Carline and her eldest son Andreas were direct heirs. But Albert was 50 when he produced heirs, so it’s not surprising people thought he might never have kids.
His father, Stefano Casiraghi, was so handsome. He died so young.
I think Pierre is the spitting image of his father! So handsome!
She is gorgeous, knows how to dress for any occasion. She certainly elevates the dot dress with her hair, makeup, casual pose. Yes, he is a treat.
I remember when he was little. Andrea got all the praises for being a good looking kid back then. Then something happened and he got too thin, and decided on stay in that hippie- chic style. Good for him for staying true to his and his wife’s style, but he got overrun by Pierre in all aspects. He was a cute kiddie with big eyeglasses who became this handsome man, he looks a lot like his father at this stage.
People who are going to purchase Dior menswear are going to do so regardless of the face of Dior’s ad campaign. Let this sailor-businessman go back to his business – the sea!
This comment made me lol.
She is absolutely stunning and apparently pretty intelligent. Hopefully he won’t lose his looks like his brother did. Andrea used to be gorgeous and then all of a sudden the beauty went away. I’m not sure if it was drugs or just bad luck.
I heard rumors about the drug use too,
She’s beautiful, for sure, but he … would not have been the one I picked for a fashion model ambassadorship.
He’s handsome but a bit dour looking.
As long as anyone from that family comes out being a good spouse in a happy marriage, I’m treasuring the positive. Dior, like Chanel, has a many-faceted brand identity, and certainly royal luxe is one of them. Pierre looks like he’ll be a pro, he “gets it” and so there will be a series of lovely photo-fabulous Dior events that come off well. #winning
He looks like a cross between a blond Shia LeBeouf and Liev Shrieber to me. She is beautiful!
I don’t follow Monegasque royalty and had to look him up. I didn’t think these pictures were much to look at, but I see his look varies wildly with different hair styles and facial hair. He’s a real chameleon and is really handsome under all that scruff. I’m looking forward to seeing what Dior will do with him — I think it will be great!
I wholeheartedly support more Grimaldi posts.
They look cute together. I love that she’s kept her own name.
Topic-adjacent, but I’ve ALWAYS loved Charlotte Cashiraghi’s style and DGAF attitude! Literally, every outfit of hers blows the British Royal’s (and yes, IMHO, even Meghan’s) style out of the water. Everything about her is so effortless and chic…even the over-the-top looks work because she has the je ne sais quoi to pull them off. I guess that’s what being a third-generation style icon with long lines of fashion connections can do to your sartorial instincts.
