The promotion for Marry Me has begun, and Jennifer Lopez has been in New York this week to make television appearances and, one would assume, do some kind of press junket. In the past 48 hours, she made several costume changes and of course the NYC paparazzi are eating it up. J.Lo also brought her luggage handler Ben Affleck with her!! He was seen outside 30 Rockefeller with Jen as she left the Today Show studio and Tonight Show studio. Fashion notes: the “marbled” looking ensemble in blue and grey is Fendi. The black-and-white “snakeskin” outfit is Roberto Cavalli, with actual snakeskin boots from Le Silla. In the photos where Jen is wearing the brown fur coat, she’s carrying a Coach bag (she has an endorsement deal with Coach).
After her promotional work, she and Ben headed out to Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar. There was a paparazzi swarm and it felt like the good old Bennifer 1.0 days. Jen’s manager Benny Medina was with them too. He regularly goes out to dinner with them. It’s pretty interesting!
Meanwhile, Jennifer’s Today Show interview is making headlines because Hota Kotb was trying to avoid talking about how she just split with her fiance, and J.Lo was like “you’re asking me all of these personal questions!!!” That happens near the end of the interview, around the 6-minute mark.

I love this brown faux fur coat. Many years ago I gave my Mom a faux fur called Borgana. She loved it so much. Brings back memories.

Though many things about her may be “faux”, the coat probably isn’t one if them.
You may be right. I looked up the jacket and it’s made by Coach, which does market a line of non-fur jackets and coats, so who knows. Coach may have supplied this for her to wear, so it’s prob the real thing.

I like Ben as her luggage handler. Like, I appreciate them more individually and as a couple if he just constantly grovels at her feet and attends to her. They both need this on some level. I can see how this arrangement could work.

I cannot see this arrangement working for Ben. Looking at BA’s face I believe he’s not happy lugging all those bags. He’s doing this to help her out for this movie which. IMO he’ll be out of this little game she’s playing. I remember when JLo was with Pdiddy. Diddy was arrested for carrying a gun in a club. JLo was in the club with him and said she did not see a gun. She stood by him until he was cleared of the charges. The day he was cleared JLo was out. BA is following around like a bell hop carrying her luggage to show how devoted to her, but his face is not looking as if he’s enjoying this new role.
Yea these two are both in it for the fun, thrill, excitement and public attention. I cannot imagine them having a quiet home life, a meaningful conversation about their kids, or anything to do with everyday mundane life. We know Ben tires quickly of such things.
Of course someone will spin him helping his girlfriend with her bag as bad. So ridic!

Benny Medina rarely leaves Jlos side,i heard first time around Ben hated Jlos codependence of him and he was let go. He obviously came back and was responsible for taking Jlo out of her slump for a few years(she then got American Idol and was hot again).
Yeah, I don’t understand the whole Benny Medina thing. He’s always with them. I would imagine if I was dating someone that had their manager around ALWAYS, I’d be super annoyed too! Ben looks pissed!
I can’t believe Ben can go from one Jen to another as these two women are as different as you can get (in Hollywood not the real world). Jennifer Gardner, a low maintenance actress and mom that likes to cook, take care of her kids, steps out of the house in a minute because she wears casual clothing. Jennifer Lopez who is high maintenance, no doubt loves her kids too, looks like it takes 2 hours to do hair, makeup, wardrobe to step out of her home, loves the paparazzi and limelight. I don’t understand how a man who is attracted to one of these women can go back and forth to the other woman? Maybe I just don’t understand men?

I adore Garner’s insta posts but everyone knows that her Instagram is heavily curated! She hires a professional to come up with her “random” posts when she is just whipping something up in the kitchen.
What Garner does well is give off the vibe that she is low-maintenance but in fact her image is heavily managed.

I hope that’s a fake fur. Remember the days when PETA would throw paint? I always feel an itching when I see fur. And is it me but it seems like there has been promotion on this movie for six months at least. It’s got to be the longest run up in history. And I agree, Ben needs to keep doing what he’s doing right here – schlep bags around and keep his mouth shut. He’s finally a little likable that way.
What a difference..when Ben was with Lindsay Shookus coming in & out of hotels, Lindsay was always carrying all her own luggage!
i think her lifestyle would exhaust anyone & I think Ben will eventually grow very bored with her! When we age ( yes JL will & is aging like all of us), most of us want to simplify our lives & just enjoy life without all the time consumed in making sure we are always pap pic ready!

You keep leaving similar comments, about everyone “aging” even Jlo lol. That’s a given but you seem to be trying to convince yourself of that. She looks amazing and we get it. I doubt it takes her long to get ready outside of picking her clothes. Her makeup is minimal/naturalistic she has good skin and doesn’t need much. In her songs she mentions (in First Love) that she loved being in T-shirt and jeans (maybe at home or with family outings) but she definitely has a low maintenance side which can compliment Ben. And he knows all this and choice her twice so it’s not a problem in his mind.

@Matilda – It’s Garner, and he didn’t go from one Jen to another. There were like 5-6 women before JLo second time around: Nanny O, Shookus, Shauna Sexton, Katie Cherry, Ana De Armas. All very different from each other. He’s not ARod in that he definitely doesn’t have a “type” because before JG there was Gwyneth and Enza S. I feel like I’m missing someone. Anyway, it’s been a lot of women.
