Chris Pine was spotted in the wild last night! He apparently attended a Prada event with his friend and frequent costar Zachary Quinto. Quinto left the event maskless, while Chris masked up his big, burly beard like a boss. This is one of the reasons why we’ve seen so little of Pine in recent years: he’s been role modeling responsible pandemic behavior, he wears masks everywhere and he mostly just stays at home or works. Anyway, I would slide those leather pants off of him WITH HASTE.

Meanwhile, Pine and Quinto are in final negotiations to sign up for another Star Trek movie. JJ Abrams is getting the gang back together – Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho and Simon Pegg are also returning. Abrams confirmed the whole thing is a go at a Paramount investors meeting this week.

Also happening this week: the trailer drop for The Contractor, where a clean-shaven Chris Pine plays a former military guy (I think a former Ranger?) who gets head-hunted to work for a group which he thinks is some kind of lean, mean black-ops group with a connection to the Pentagon. The trailer kind of gives away too much, but it looks really good. It’s interesting to see Pine taking these kinds of roles now.
