Jennifer Lopez is back in LA after filming a movie in Spain for several months. Ben went to visit her a few times in Spain, and they seemed to be doing fine. Yesterday, Ben and J.Lo were pap’d running errands and picking up his kids from school. This is J.Lo’s version of off-duty fashion, with jeans, coordinated belt and wedges, etc. She looks cute. I also enjoy the fact that Ben remains committed to his flannel shirts. Anyway, now that we’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of the Bennifer Revival, surely we’ll get an engagement? Well, sources tell Entertainment Tonight that it’s probably going to happen soon.
Another anillo from Ben Affleck may be on the way to Jennifer Lopez! A source tells ET that the A-list couple is making plans for their forever.
“Ben and Jen can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together and know that they were destined to be together,” the source says. “An engagement is on the table and it has been an ongoing conversation….They actively talk about what didn’t work in the past and use those experiences to strengthen their relationship now, for the future and for the sake of themselves and their families,” the source adds. “They are committed to having a healthy, everlasting relationship.”
Another layer to the Deep Water actor and the Marry Me actress’ love is their continued support. “Jen and Ben are incredibly supportive of each other,” the source notes. “Ben is Jen’s number one fan and he completely champions her and always tells her how great she is. He loves talking about her different projects. She is a huge supporter of his too, but Ben really can’t stop telling everyone how smart and hardworking she is.”
The source also adds that Affleck’s first wife, Jennifer Garner, who is the mother of his children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, has given the pair her stamp of approval. “Jen Garner and Ben get along well. She is understanding and supportive of Jen and Ben’s relationship,” the source says. “She knows Ben is doing well all around and at the end of the day, she just wants what’s best for the kids and for things to be seamless and unproblematic. She wants everyone to be happy and healthy and her kids are always the priority.”
“Everyone is feeling good at this point and looking forward to the future,” the source adds.
I think it’s probably a good sign that they haven’t had some big splashy engagement thus far. It shows that they have grown and matured, they’re not kids, they are both parents and they care about blending the family in the right way, at the right time. I also think Ben is very supportive of Jen’s career… now. Maybe he was 20 years ago too, but I think he probably respects her hustle and her career even more now. Anyway, can’t wait for the engagement!

They’re also about to buy a huge estate together. Ben looked ao proud when she received her Icon award at the IHeartRadio awards, her speech was so good. I honestly think they’ll get surprise married soon.
I just watched Deep Water, i was thinking lack of promo was due to the Bennifer revival but now i think the stars just realised how awful it was.

This all just seems like it’s going to end in disaster to me. Maybe I’m wrong, good for them if I am, but I think they just feed each other’s fatal flaws. Jennifer needs to be in a serious relationship. Everything always has to be serious. Ben was waiting in the wings when A.Rod screwed it up, and they used to be serious, so there that goes, she has her super serious next fiancee all lined up when Ben messages her. Ben can’t truly face up to his addictions, and the underlying issues HE has. Not in the way he needs to. He needs a woman in his life to distract himself and keep him in line. After Ana de Armas, he was in the market for a new crutch. Hearing about A.Rod and J.Lo being on the rocks gave him a perfect in to get back with someone familiar to him so he can stay comfy and distracted. Again, I might be wrong, but has Affleck ever REALLY seen himself in a clear light? Has she? I can’t tell if this is “UH-OH” or “CUTE!’
I honestly want to know the longest JLo has been single. When Ben dumped her in round #1 she got Marc Anthony, who dumped his wife expeditiously, to be with her. She has a pattern. Ojani Noa, Puff, Chris Judd, Ben 1.0, Marc, Casper Smart, ARod, now Ben. I’m not slut shaming her but she doesn’t have time to decompress. She reminds me of the Runaway Bride movie: she shapes herself into a certain image based on her mate. Since breaking up with ARod when did she last post a hard-core gym session? I think Ben is an energy vampire. I don’t know how she will deal. He’s also an addict so what happens if he loses sobriety? I don’t see her supporting him through rehab. It’s not the image she wants.
I hate to break it with you, but I genuinely think ARod was just a rebound for her (maybe not even that). The clue is in her music video “In The Morning” she released in January 2021 (there is an ink on her arm in that video that is the giveaway for me that that song was intended for Affleck, and not for ARod). However, that song was actually released in October 2020, when reports came out that she and ARod were in trouble. Trace back to all her singles released since 2016, I am like 99% certain almost all but one song were a message to Affleck. Check out the lyrics.
As for Ana de Armas, it was complicated and invovled a dicreet celebrity feud with at least a singer and a Marvel actor.
Well she has a pretty weird way of going about a rebound relationship. You don’t get engaged to, live with, and blend families with a rebound. That’s my whole point. It’s a fatal flaw. She has to make EVERY relationship serious, even rebounds if that was what A.Rod was. I don’t really get your point about de Armas…. Ben can’t be alone either, but for different reasons. Complicated or not, it’s just all evidence to me of both of their refusal to be alone and work on themselves so that SOMETHING can work out. This all just seems to me like another go round the same cycle, but they’re in their 50s now and they’ve just circled back around to each other. Neither of them have really changed.

I really think that, when you have kids from a previous relationship, you should just keep this level of gushing way private & away from any possibility of your kids reading/hearing it.
Jen#1 worked hard too, & still does. Maybe he missed all the work she did because he was busy gambling.

I agree. I think he shows a level of disregard for her that is unacceptable. It’s reality though. People who ‘settle’ for a partner tend not to ever see their value, no matter how hard they work, how much they do for them, or how many children they have. I think it’s human nature.
Not saying it’s ok, of course. It’s awful, but I’ve seen this situation often. Best never to settle for someone and never be someone’s fallback.
Let’s not forget how he humiliated her by cheating with the stripper close to the wedding. That was horrible.
It’s obvious that the anonymous source came from JLo’s publicist, based on the language they used. But that lies the trouble, Affleck seems to lack the will or nerve to challenge her to rein in the anonymous sources. That wasn’t the case the first round. He was uncomfortable with her constant leaking by anonymous sources during their first tryst. And he made her sack the publicist then. This time he was all subdued. That might brood trouble in the future.
Wonder if JLO is still in contact with ARod daughters? Children are always the ones to get hurt after being used by adults.

Dating a person with an addiction history is far different than being married to him. If they get engaged let’s hope it’s a very long one. Give it time. What’s the rush.
I just think Ben wants his cake and eat it too, he wants to be with jlo and prevent Jennifer Garner from living her best life by always being seen in the picture with her, I know they have children together, he can’t let Jennifer go, what man wants to be with a woman who her ex is always snooping around? Jennifer Garner needs to put her foot down.

She gave it back. Because Affleck later sold it back to Harry Winston. This is verifiable, because it was confirmed by a Harry Winston’s spokesperson, which is independent and third party, so this source is legitimate and believable. But I also believe she immediately bought the ring back as soon as she heard of the news, based on her song One Love.
