Chloe Bailey in Valentino at the Grammys: one of the best looks?

Chloe Bailey wore one of my favorite gowns at the Grammys. She was in a dotted sequin Valentino with a sheer cape! Capes always make a gown dramatic. She told Laverne Cox that she felt like a mirror disco ball. I was disappointed that Chloe’s sister, Hailey, didn’t come to the Grammys because I love seeing them together. These shows can be hard work to attend and I would probably skip them too. Plus this was in Las Vegas, so they had to travel. One day I’ll have to make those type of decisions.

Sofia Carson was also in Valentino, in forest green chiffon, also with a damn cape. She knew how to pose too. Those earrings!

Speaking of posing, here’s Billy Porter in a bright pink Valentino pantsuit with a sheer ruffle top. This had a cape which he wore with gloves while presenting! I love it.

Best new artist nominee, Japanese Breakfast, was in a wild short yellow scalloped Valentino with an open back. The Grammys are the place to wear this gown and she had fun with it.

Laverne Cox was in a sheer John Galliano with delicate embroidery. I’m not fond of how see through this is but I like the details. She is such a fun red carpet host and I love how she brings up spirituality and manifesting in her interviews. It’s cool hearing celebrities talk about that.

In that first pic Chloe looks like Tiffany trump as they both have Similar face shapes and mouths and very small noses. Chloe’s dress is gorgeous

Chloe’s face looks great. And love her pose in the third pic. Sofia looks like a classic film star. Love the green shade and that hair. Too much hot pink on the boys last night. Just noticed Laverne’s hair is also hot pink. Japanese Breakfast looks cute as can be.

    Billy Porter is a treasure!

I don’t like Billy Porter’s pantsuit however I love the lipstick. Such a fun colour

Just popping in to note that Chloe’s sister’s name is Halle (not Hailey). Hailey Bailey would be quite the name.

    • Ninks says:

I’m not sure why it is, but every time I see Halle Bailey’s name, my mind reads it as Halle Balle.

First 2 dresses are good but it’s Billy Porter FTW.

Japanese Breakfast : really fun band name and I will now definitely check out their music! The dress is cute and fun

The singer from Japanese Breakfast has a memoir I really liked called “crying in H Mart” as well!

That’s what Chloe should have worn to the Oscar’s instead of that other dress. This is so regal and beautiful

I agree, she should have switched dresses for the two events. I think this dress is gorgeous, and she looks beautiful.
I love Sofia’s too, what a timeless, elegant gown and earrings.

Those were my thoughts on seeing this dress on Chloe too. Definitely would have been a nice look for the Oscars.

  9. Pix says:

Sofia Carson’s hair is pulled so tight that my head hurts! I’m a Billy Porter stan for life.

I also love Chloe Bailey’s hair. The braids and baby curls at the front are gorgeous.
