Halsey stunned people on the Grammys red carpet, their look was so striking. Halsey wore Pressiat, which I mistook for Vivienne Westwood at first because of the structure and draping. The dress itself is fascinating, but together with the hat/headpiece and styling, the effect is so striking and retro. Halsey had endo surgery three days ago and ended up not feeling great after a few hours, so they went home and got some pasta.
Saweetie wore Valentino and the Grammys even did a fashion-cam for her look. It was very princess-y! She looked great and she was so honored to be there. Laverne Cox made her cry on the red carpet. (Sidenote: music people f–king LOVE Laverne Cox.)
Avril Lavigne wore a custom MOI MOI Paris mullet gown to the Grammys. For some reason, this just seems… perfect on her, while also being stuck in some kind of early ‘00s time warp.

Wow indeed! It also took me weeks to recover. And my belly couldn’t handle anything beyond sweats for a while. Maybe it was more of an exploratory laparoscopy and not a lot of excision? Agree their look is stunning.
Yeah that was the other thing, I couldn’t really wear anything that would even graze my stomach.

I need a derm or plastic surgeon to explain Avril’s non-aging game to me. She is a year older than me and while I have great skin (thanks retinA!) I still don’t look the same as I did at 20..which, she seems to? What is she doing, and how can I get in on it? lol
She looks good in this pic but the live interview with Laverne Cox? I thought she looked really rough and I was surprised by that. Her hair looked dry and broken, and she just looked exhausted and haggard. But I think she really suffered with active Lyme Disease so that might explain it.

Avril said in an interview her diet is vegetarian plus beer. She stays out of the sun. I wonder if the slight weight gain (she was VERY petite in her 20s and looks amazing now) has helped her face.

I agree with you. I’m pretty much the same age as Avril and her insistence on being stuck in this look and this musical place are all so cringey. Her new song is a favourite of my 5 year old, so that tells you what kind of audience is interested in this look and sound.

I love Halley’s look here!! I do NOT know what drugs she was on to make it last night!! My endo had me down for 6 weeks!!! I had it everywhere it could grow!!! But it does look like Westwood, it’s certainly her look.
As for Laverne Cox, who doesn’t love her??!!!!!!

Can’t believe I’m saying this as I don’t love hot pink nor bras worn as tops but I LOVE Saweetie’s look! The execution and fit are impeccable. If you’re going to wear such an attire for an awards show, make sure it’s perfectly made, you know?
I don’t care for Sweeties dress at all!!! I hate that look with the breast area!!! Why are the designers doing this??? It’s looks awful and you must be limited in your movement as well.

I adore Saweetie’s look, and I’m also not normally a fan of this style of dress. Coincidentally, everyone who wore bright pink looked incredible. I really loved browsing the red carpet looks this year — almost everyone wore something interesting! So much eye candy.
