The fashion at the 2022 Emmy Awards was mostly good, right? Only a handful of women wore dumb gowns, and most of the looks were really flattering and nice. It felt like Hollywood stylists have finally started getting their acts together. Speaking of, Issa Rae was absolutely stunning in this Sergio Hudson dress. She is glowing, she’s super-fit these days, her skin is gorgeous and she was there to say goodbye to Insecure’s final season. She was also there as producer on A Black Lady Sketch Show (which is amazing).
Robin Thede wore Christian Siriano – I loved how many women wore Siriano, and he’s quickly become the favorite of so many Emmy-nominees. She looked great and she was having fun.
Julia Garner in Gucci. This could have been a real serve except for that stomach cutout. But I like that Garner is something of a mini-Blanchett – she looks wildly different depending on styling and hair color.
Christina Ricci in Fendi. Gorgeous. One of my favorite dresses of the evening.
Reese Witherspoon in Armani. Kind of a snooze, right?

Agree @ Normandes. The high temperatures on the West Coast must make her feel uncomfortable. Let’s just hope the a/c was extremely set low for last nights event.
Why does Witherspoon never step out of her comfort zone on red carpets? I cannot think of a time that she has ever explored something “safe” for her.
As for Rae, Ricci, Robin and Thede, they all hit it out of the park. I actually appreciate the love that Christian Siriano is getting love! He has dressed many fuller figured women when a majority of other designers refuse to dress them. He deserves the accolades!
Not really crazy about Issa’s gown, but she’s so gorgeous.
