Earlier today, we heard about Lindsay Lohan’s epic meltdown at Kitson. Apparently, Lindsay was being paid to show up at the opening of Pascal Mouawad’s jewelry line at the store, and she was already getting $500 to $2000 worth of free stuff. When she tried to take $15,000 worth of stuff, Pascal Mouawad himself put his foot down and told her “no”. Cue epic tantrum. Apparently, after that, Lindsay started bad-mouthing Mouawad to other people in the store, and complaining loudly about the way she was being treated.

It looks like Lindsay forgot that she might actually need Mouawad’s friendship, though. The rumor going around (started by Lindsay herself) was that Lindsay was going to work with him on a jewelry line for Bebe. Now, not so much. Mouawad denied Lindsay’s claim, saying that although the jewelry line had been discussed, it was “not happening”.

Lindsay Lohan apparently has her signals crossed. To more than a little astonishment, the starlet, already artistic adviser to Emanuel Ungaro, principal at leggings label 6126 and co-creator of self-tanning brand Sevin Nyne, recently mentioned she got the nod to expand her unlikely fashion portfolio even further into jewelry. She indicated Pascal Mouawad, who has partnered on jewelry lines with Nicole Richie and Heidi Klum, and Bebe had linked arms with her in the new venture. Mouawad begs to differ. Although he acknowledged discussions about launching a jewelry line with Lohan for Bebe did take place, he declared in an e-mail that Lohan’s revelation a collection was on its way is inaccurate. “This is not happening,” he said bluntly.

People Magazine points out that this jewelry line was entirely conceivable, because Mouawad has worked with celebrities in the past, like Nicole Richie and Keidi Klum. A Represtentive from Bebe also slams Lindsay’s claim, telling People “We are not doing anything with her. There were talks months ago but we did not go forward with anything.” Bebe works with Nicole Richie as well, and they’re just about to launch a line with the Kardashian girls. You know what that means? Fashion houses are finally over Lindsay’s crackhead drama. They’d rather work with someone like Khloe Kardashian than Lindsay.

It’s about damn time. I was expecting this after Lindsay’s “creative consulting” on the Ungaro line failed miserably. At first, Lindsay tried to take credit for everything at Ungaro, acting like she was the co-designer or something. After the line got bashed, she was all “none of it was my idea”. I get that’s a f-cking cracked-out mess, but her consistent refusal to even have a modicum of professionalism is one of the things that bothers me the most. And I think it’s a great idea for every one to get their distance from the train wreck of her existence.
