Here are some photos from last night’s Time 100 gala. Kim Kardashian was one of the biggest celebrities there, and we seem to have lots of opinions about Kim’s fashion these days, so have it. She wore a slinky white slipdress and she was dripping in diamonds. I’ve noticed that about Kim in recent months – she’s back to feeling comfortable wearing expensive jewelry in public. She didn’t feel comfortable doing that for years after the armed robbery in Paris. While I assume she always has security around now, the credentialed journalists on the carpet were able to swarm her on the carpet. Anyway, I thought she looked nice? Her clutch is Chanel, and she will attend the Met Gala on Monday. She’ll probably wear vintage Chanel, don’t you think?

I’ve learned a lot about the resurgence of corsets in the last few years and it always makes me wonder when I see her out and about in clothes like this. Something nice.

@MoxyLady – Corsets – or as she calls them waist trainers – are a real possibility. However, we’ve seen her in crop tops. I think she just has really dramatic surgery that creates wildly unequal proportions, like an old school barbie doll. Her body must be so uncomfortable.
Agreed! I don’t think she looks “nice” at all. I think she looks grotesque, deformed, and super tacky! Her jewelry designs make them look like they are from Claire’s (the mall source for cheap sparkles for little girls).
the wig is particularly nasty-looking. and she needs to learn that less is more. layering the jewelry is really, really giving Claire’s vibes. dress is nice for her but it’s too long per usual.
Aubrey Plaza is such a standout and breath of sunshine in comparison — she looks young, modern, healthy. Here, Kim looks so much older and like she gets too much sun. Not healhty looking at all.

Mia Farrow always looks unkept in just this exact way. It’s like a formula for her. Some sort of orthopedic awful shoe. Ill fitting and poorly cared for clothing.
Is she making a statement that she’s above material cares? Is she making a statement that she doesn’t need those things because she is the attraction?
All I know is that she has become increasingly problematic and I’m not here for it.

Molly looked amazing. Her skin looked luminous and that red gown was lovely. Kim is just so unserious I can’t anything she wears.

Natasha Lyonne looks so gorgeous. I can never get over her hair; so beautiful!! And I love Aubrey Plaza too, but the cape on her dress reminds me a little bit of the cape they put over you at the hair dresser’s. She’s glowing, though!
And I’m a bit of a Kim apologist, so I’ll just say that I think the dress fits exquisitely (although I don’t care for the shoulder straps or all of the necklace choices).

Kim’s look is a big improvement from that stupid balenciaga look she kept sporting with the connected boots to pants look. This looks a lot better.

I thought Kim did look good (not a popular opinion). Natasha Lyonne and Aubrey Plaza were gorgeous! I just saw a picture on another site where Kim grabbed and squeezed Saint’s face after he interrupted her concentration at a Lakers’ game. Ouch. And he looked sad and deflated afterward. I’ve never grabbed my kid’s face when annoyed, so wondered what others thought.
Honestly don’t get the Kim hate in the comments, she looks great. Very femme fatale, grungy aesthetic. On brand with the 90s resurgence, while the jewelry isn’t my cup of tea, it makes sense for the style they’re seeking. Very Monroe meets Pamala Anderson.

That dirty look can stay gone imo. I think she doesn’t have the body or look to do 90’s grunge in the right way – she looks too vacant. She has yet to find her look. Not sure what would flatter her but she hasn’t hit it yet.
Seems like kim has gained back the weight she lost for the met gala last year.
