Before Chris Evans and Alba Baptista’s wedding last weekend, we didn’t know all that much about their two-year relationship. From the glimpses we had of them on social media, it looked like they are both based out of Boston, where Chris owns a home close to his family. Alba seems content to move to wherever Chris wants to be, and I wondered how her family felt about that. Basically, everything seems super-Boston-centered and Chris-centered. Well, good news! Chris and Alba are headed to Portugal for a second wedding with her family and friends.

Chris Evans and his new wife, Alba Baptista, are going to celebrate “I do” for a second time. After Page Six exclusively broke the news that the couple had wed in the Marvel actor’s hometown of Boston, we’ve also learned that they are going to have a second wedding celebration in Europe.

“There is going to be a second gathering in Portugal for members of Alba’s family who couldn’t be in Massachusetts,” a source exclusively told us. “Sometime this week, I believe. Then they’ll depart from Portugal for their honeymoon.”

Reps for both actors did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

A lot of people do this, regardless of whether they’re from different countries. Like, they’ll do a wedding in Maine and a wedding in Georgia for both sides of the family. There are no rules, you can have as many weddings as you like. I also wonder if Alba is religious and maybe the Portuguese wedding will be the religious service, just because the Boston wedding seemed pretty secular. Like, they just went to some mansion on Cape Cod, and I seriously doubt the officiant was a priest or pastor. And where will they honeymoon? Is Dodger coming on the honeymoon??
