Yesterday was Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday. On Tuesday night, her “pre-birthday,” Taylor went out to Zero Bond and a wine bar with Miles and Keleigh Teller and Selena Gomez. What would her actual birthday night include? A surprise visit from Travis Kelce? A proposal? Nope, none of that. Instead, Taylor and several friends hit up The Box in Manhattan. Those friends included: Miles Teller, Keleigh Teller, Blake Lively, Jerrod Carmichael, Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter, Alana Haim and Zoe Kravitz, plus several others. Before they went to The Box, Taylor had a smaller birthday dinner with Blake, Miles and Keleigh, I think.

For her birthday night, Taylor wore a sparkly $2,335 dress from Clio Peppiat, a label which got a lot of attention because of The White Lotus. I like the dress a lot, actually, although you know her legs were cold as hell. I love that she draped her jacket so that paparazzi could get their fashion photos. She’s been doing that a lot and I really appreciate it, and I’m sure the paparazzi appreciate it too – Taylor ensures that the paps get clear, full-body shots of her outfits and her (hideous) shoes.

As for Travis…he was in Kansas City. The Chiefs had a mandatory practice and I guess he didn’t feel like flying up to New York afterwards. “Sources close to both Swift and Kelce” told People Magazine that they “have emphasized their commitment to their individual careers, and the couple celebrated her birthday early with friends in Kansas City at a holiday party on Sunday.” It also appears that Travis sent her flowers – there were many flower deliveries to her Tribeca apartment yesterday.
