Rihanna, Natalie Portman & Anya Taylor Joy came out for the PFW Dior show

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing, and the big Dior show was held on Monday, the same day as the Schiaparelli show. Lots of celebrities have come out for PFW but Dior usually gets the best turnout, because they have the most A-list brand ambassadors. Plus, this is the PFW which comes in the middle of the awards season – I can guarantee that we’ll see a lot of these “fresh from the runway” looks at the SAGs and Oscars.

This week’s Dior show featured appearances from Rihanna, Natalie Portman, Deva Cassel, Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi, Natalia Vodianova, Elizabeth Debicki and Anya Taylor Joy. Guess which one is my favorite look? Vodianova’s, far and away. I f–king LOVE that gilded/chain sack dress. I would ask for it without the tassels on the hem, but holy sh-t, I absolutely hope we see that at the Oscars or at the VF Oscar party. Rihanna looked cute but the only thing I want from her ensemble is her purse. I think it’s hilarious that Dior is making that hybrid cloche/bucket hat too. Anya got a good dress and I don’t mind the combat boots, but overall… they’re forcing the “remember the ‘90s” styling way too hard.

What else? Beatrice needs a cleaner look and I really dislike those boots. Deva looks like her mama (Monica Bellucci). Debicki is styled so badly, omg. With Debicki, Dior has their ideal brand ambassador, a willow-thin blonde with an aristocratic look, and yet they always make her look so blah and half-assed.

I really like the gold dress.. don’t ask me to explain it.

I do too, minus the fringed hem.

Debicki looks like she’s wearing the paper that gets ripped off the table after a pelvic exam.

@NotSoSocialB you made my day 🙂

Great comparison 🤭🤣.. see I love that fringe at the bottom (again I have no idea why) hopefully we will see something similar but less costly coming out soon. I’m enjoying the fashion photos 💞

Deva Cassel is stunning. I love that trench.

It’s very Meghan-like. Not sure if I like it as a dress-up option, but I like it in general. Rihanna’s outfit looks like her glam maternity wear (hides the mid-section). She said she wanted 5 kids back-to-back. I wonder if she’s pregnant again.

I can also see Angelina Jolie rocking that trench. But really I want it for myself.

Beatrice and Deva look amazing. Natalie’s look is meh and while I don’t hate Rihanna’s look I don’t love it either. Debicki does get to choose from a selection of items as an ambassador. This is what she chose. So I blame her and her stylist for this one lol.

France loves their nepo babies but at least Deva who has walked for some big names has the look and height of a model (unlike Lilly Depp).

What is up with the pictures by the drain?

  6. TextileMama says:

What did Natalie Portman do to her face?!?!!!!!!! WHY do celebrities do this to themselves??

Natalie Portman is aging in the public eye. I think she looks great. I adored watching her reaction to RiRi’s fangirling over her work. Isn’t it great when women support other women? Refreshing.

Give me a mumu but make it medieval.

Or it’s the mumu you wear when you’re worried about a stealth attack from someone.

Either way I love it but agree on taking the tassels off, they make me think of the edge of the cover they used to put over horses for jousting and the like.
