Greta Lee is a brand ambassador for Loewe and she’s worn Loewe almost exclusively throughout the award season, to mixed results in my opinion. There have been some hits and misses, let’s just say that. But her Oscars look was a huge hit – this Loewe was fresh off the runway and it was Greta’s best look of the season. She looked gorgeous and like a movie star. I hope Past Lives does great things for her career.
Greta hooked up her Past Lives writer/director Celine Song was a Loewe look as well.
I was surprised that Jodie Foster went with Loewe too, usually she just calls up Armani and asks them for a simple-yet-elegant dress. Jodie’s Loewe was a great color – a deep, rich purple. I love that her date was her wife Alexandra Hedison and Jodie also had a nice little reunion with her Taxi Driver costar Robert DeNiro.
No joke – I think Andrea Riseborough got the best Loewe of the night. This was such a special look and I’m glad that she came back as a former nominee. Bold! Everything about this was so bold.

Jodie Foster is flawless. She is aging so beautifully. I loved watching her in True Detective. Stunning. She is goals.
I love, love the color but I thought the high neckline and lightly dropped waistline was an odd combo. Her styling was gorgeous though and I agree that she is goals.

One of my favorites was the 12-year-old violinist from “The Last Repair Shop” in the pretty blue dress … she looked like a princess — and she clearly was feeling like one. She was so joyful.
She was. That was such a lovely moment and one that is always needed at these award shows. I thought that category was really stacked with talent.
