Colorful planters, an affordable mani-pedi kit and a dog treat puzzle

From CB: A couple weeks ago I bought a set of four Samsung Galaxy Smart Tags for under $70. I gave two to my son and I use the other two on my dog and on my keys. They’re water resistant, have an over one year battery life and are easy to set up. If you have an iPhone, a four pack of air tags is just $75. Here are some more things Rosie and I are looking at on Amazon.

A set of shoehorns because you know you don’t untie your shoes

From CB: A couple of years ago I bought two pairs of those sneakers you can slip into, Kizik, and they had no arch support and got dirty super fast. They’re expensive too. So I just wear regular shoes now and hurt my index finger trying to put them on without untying them. I go outside a lot to walk my dog! This set of two shoehorns will hopefully be able to solve my problem. You get a long and a short shoehorn for just $9. This listing has over 6,800 ratings, 4.7 stars and an A on Fakespot. People are surprised at how high quality these are and say that they help them get their shoes on and off fast. “This is perfect for travel as it will not break. Both my husband and I use a shoehorn for our sneakers, and other shoes. It slides into the suitcase and takes up little to no room. The longer one we use in our walk in closet. I was tired of the plastic shoe horns that break, this should last a lifetime.” “I wasn’t expecting much for the price but this is insanely good. The handle on the big shoe horn is actual leather. The metal, yes metal(!), form is solid all the way through. The small one is equally as sturdy.”

A dog and cat treat puzzle for entertaining eating

From CB: I combine mashed sweet potato and peanut butter, stick it in Kongs and freeze it for my dog. He’s always looking for something to do and that helps distract him! This $10-$14 dog and cat treat puzzle has panels your pet can slide to get treats or kibble underneath. It has 4.4 stars, over 12,500 ratings and a B on Fakespot. Pet owners say that it slows down fast eaters and that there aren’t any loose pieces for their dog to chew. Cats can use it too! They do say it’s easy for many dogs but that they still love it. (Here is a link to a similar product with a B on Fakespot that I’m also considering.) “My puppy loves this way of eating she refuses to use her bowl anymore. It does slow her eating down a little. She paws at it pretty aggressively to get to the kibble that gets stuck in the cracks.” “Nacho [a ginger cat] loves this toy and he is very picky! I put his treats in here on my way out the door to work and he enjoys digging for his treats!”

An intimate lubricant that really works for older women

From CB: Halle Berry’s story this week was sadly relatable to me. I’m thankful that my OB recommended Replens lubricant a while ago and it really works. My only complaint is that you need to leave the bottle in the box it came in or it will leak. This listing has 4.6 stars, over 2,000 ratings and a B on Fakespot. People say it’s not sticky like other brands, that a little goes a long way and that it helps intimacy like nothing else they’ve tried. “It’s the best product I could find and far less money than most. We tried several different products that cost us way more money (like $21 for an ounce), and they were worthless as far as we were concerned.” “I only use this product now. It works well with my sensitive skin and one bottle lasts a long time. A little goes a long way!”

Colorful indoor ceramic pots to brighten up your space

From Rosie: Spring is here, which means it’s flower time! I was looking for some cute new indoor flower pots and love the design on this set. There are three different size pots, three, four, and five inches. These pots have four different colors to choose from, ranging between $21 and $25 in price with an additional 5% off coupon applied at checkout. These colorful pots have over 955 ratings, 4.6 stars and the same score on Review Meta. In reviews, people mention how pretty and durable they are. “I bought these for some color over a dreary winter and now I can’t wait for spring to buy more for our patio. These planters are gorgeous in person and super durable.” “I especially like that these pots can be used with or without the drainage hole because they have a removable plug. The smallest one is great for propagating cuttings when the hole is plugged. The others work really well in my succulent collection on the deck with their drainage holes unplugged.” “I purchased 2 boxes of these planters for my daughter-in-law and for my brother’s girlfriend. One will be planting her succulents in them and the other will be using them to place her art supplies (markers, paint brushes, etc.) They both loved the colors and the design. These make beautiful gifts.”

LED bicycle lights that make your rides safe and fun

From Rosie: These LED bicycle lights look like so much fun! You install them around the tires and they work with both kid- and adult-sized bikes. They’re waterproof and run on three AA batteries. They have a 4.2 star rating, more than 4,300 reviews, and an A on Fakespot. There are 14 different colors to choose from, in both solid and multi-colored. People say these colorful lights make their bike (or wagon or stroller!) rides more fun and safe. “These lights (blue, red and green are all bright and vibrant colors) are super fun! They make biking much more fun and much more safe.” “Lights are extremely bright and colorful and it is very easy to assemble to your bike, baby stroller or wagon.” “These lights not only make my kid’s bikes more visible on the road, but they also add an incredible, eye-catching element to their bikes…Overall, these lights have added an element of fun & safety. I can’t recommend them enough. If you want to upgrade your family’s biking experience, these lights are a must-have!”

A mani-pedi kit that gives you that at-home spa treatment

From Rosie: This mani/pedi kit has the tools to care of your hands, feet, and face. It comes with 15 pieces, including nail clippers and files, cuticle trimmers, tweezers, a blackhead needle, and more. It’s like having a little one-stop shop in your cabinet. There are eight different colors and the option for a larger set in limited colors as well. Each one is around $10. This mani-pedi kit has a 4.6 star rating, almost 11,500 reviews, and an A on Fakespot. People say that not only does it have everything you need, but that it also makes a great gift and is convenient to take on-the-go. “I threw this in my husbands stocking and it’s by far our most used gift from this past holiday season. Great quality and great looking nail kit.” “I love this set! It has everything in it for nails, hands and feet! Nice to have it in a case all together! Great for travels as well!” “I love this and it is small enough to throw in my purse or diaper bag and has everything you could need.”

A stylish sports bra that provides support and comfort

From Rosie: All that talk about sports bras last week inspired me to search for new ones that are affordable, comfortable, and supportive. After some research, I settled on the Running Girl brand. This one has medium support for lower impact workouts. There’s also a highly-rated one with more support for high-impact sports and women with bigger cup sizes. I run, hike, and do Pure Barre, so I’m buying one of each style. There’s a ton of different colors to choose from and are all within the $20 range. It has a 4.4 star rating, more than 40,300 reviews and a B on Fakespot. Women can’t stop raving about how comfortable and supportive it is. “These sports bras are super comfortable and provide medium support without the added pressure that caused rolls. Material is good quality, and true fit.” “They are made with a breathable thick material, the cups inside are not like any I’ve had before they are thick and stay in place as well as hold a good form! They also offer good support and are comfortable.” “Nice thick material, lots of support and compression. Great for running.”

I don’t have this specific dog puzzle, but I do have a dog that loves puzzles. We don’t use it for regular feeding, but for a little mental stimulation when he seems bored. He’s very into it. I will say that my other dog doesn’t understand it and doesn’t use it, and my previous dog would chew all the pieces if left unsupervised, so it’s not for every dog. But if you have a bored dog who thinks spatially, give it a try.

As a hip replacement recipient, I used a long shoe horn, pre- and post-surgery! it’s awesome for all types of sneakers and tight shoes.
