These days I avoid movie theaters like the literal plague they spread but hot damn is the Beetlejuice release date on my calendar.

      +1

    • PunkyMomma says:

Same. This is one film I will happily pay to see in a cinema.

    • Christine says:

I have watched this trailer approximately 30 times, with my teenager. We are all in! I can’t wait to see what Catherine O’Hara and Michael Keaton are going to throw at each other. You can see it in their faces, they are feeding off of each other.

I am so excited, in case you missed it.

Forget Michelle Yeoh’s jewels, I want her watches! Lainey links to a GQ article about MY’s Richard Mille watches and they are stunning. https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/watches/article/michelle-yeoh-watch-collection-richard-mille

(the eye candy of Lewis Hamilton in the pale blue at the bottom of Lainey’s page is yum).

  3. This is a movie that I will be going to. I can’t wait till September!

Same here, I loved the OG one and this looks fantastic. I’ll be there in September.

Haven’t gone to a theater in years. This will be a date night. Both DH & me love the original. DH, “Is Michael Keaton in it?”. Me: “Yes.”. DH, “Is that lady from the first one and was also in Best in Show in it?”. Me: “Yes. And before you ask, the actress from the original, who was also in Mermaids, Mr. Deeds and Edward Scissorhands, is in it. Looks very good.

Michelle Yeoh’s jewelry. Sigh. She wears it so well. Beautiful woman who wears pretty much everything well. Great actress .

We were dealing with storms last night. Outside of weather news-didn’t want to watch much of anything. LOL. Spousal Choice. 1. Tomorrow Never Dies 2. Last Christmas.

We saw Furiosa last night and I enjoyed it more than Fury Road. I think mostly because there’s (a bit) more story to this one and Chris Hemsworth NAILED IT as the baddie. He stayed away from cartoonish (looking at you Thor 4) while still being OTT and absolutely delivered. Anya Taylor Joy was great too, she had an amazing impact with so few words.

im so excite to see Winona Ryder in a big movie getting her flowers!

  6. Mrs. Smith says:

    Can’t wait for Beetlejuice!!

  7. Meghan says:

My son has a crush on a girl named Lydia (he’s already negotiated the age at which he can start dating and she has agreed to go out with him when he is old enough) and my mom goes “that’s kind of an older generation name, isn’t it?” So of course I responded with “or her parents are big fans of Beetlejuice.” Could go either way.

    • Mcmmom says:

Lydia seems like a name that parents would choose if they liked Olivia but didn’t want their daughter to be one of 7 in her class with the same name.

Looking forward to the sequel, but I was slightly underwhelmed by the trailer.

  9. AngryJayne says:

This might be the first time ever but…the teaser looked better and now I’m kind of on the fence about Beetlejuice.
The full trailer doesn’t seem to have the same*it factor* as the original (which I’ve seen 100 times hanks to our trusty VCR growing up).
The one liners in the original movie were perfection, and I’ve quoted them endlessly over the years.

But from what they’ve shown here…nothing really seems to stand out.
