Taylor Swift has skipped the past two Kansas City Chiefs games. We theorized why she skipped yesterday – both were weekend games, and both were “away games,” one in Atlanta and one in LA. Some people theorized that Taylor simply doesn’t want to travel to watch the Chiefs, and some people theorized that she’s simply too busy preparing for the final concerts of her Eras Tour. I enjoyed the theory that Meredith, Benjamin and Olivia told their mom to stay home, that they were tired of her constant travels and she needs to spend more time with the fur babies. Well, in any case, Taylor has heard the gossip and she wants people to know that she and Travis Kelce are still going strong:
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are still going strong despite her noticeable absence at his last two NFL games. Sources familiar with the couple tell TMZ … Taylor and Travis remain a couple, even though she hasn’t been able to make it to his last two games in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Taylor was at Travis’ first two games this year, both in Kansas City, but she’s been MIA since … including a game at SoFi Stadium, where she had a bunch of concerts last year. She was a staple at games last season and fans are starting to get worried about trouble in paradise … but we’re told that’s simply not the case here.
Taylor is going back on tour in a couple weeks in Florida … so it appears rehearsals may be contributing to her missing Travis’ recent games.
With or without Taylor, the outcome remains the same for Travis and the Chiefs … the defending Super Bowl champions are undefeated at 4-0.
Page Six’s sources similarly cite Taylor’s busy rehearsal schedule, but their sources also say that Taylor is wary of going to away-games because of the security concerns. A source told Page Six: “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.” Totally legitimate – Taylor is a huge target for all kinds of extremists. Speaking of, this dumbf–kery happened recently: a man paid $4000 for a Taylor Swift guitar at auction only to destroy it. Imagine the kind of vile MAGA threats she gets.

She isn’t missing anything. Their games have been dreadful, and they’ve only been winning by a hair. All of these NFL games have been horrendous, even the high scoring ones. The NFL is struggling, and I wonder how many years they have left?

This makes me so sad actually. That guitar could have been donated to a local charity and could have probably been auctioned for 5x more. It wasn’t even a guitar she owned nor did she sign it. Someone just slapped an Eras Tour Logo (not even the official one) on a guitar and the signed part apparently was a picture insert with a signature on it.
There is nothing wrong with needing some “me” time, and I would if I were her because she’s been on the go for two years.
