Sunday night was the big New York Film Festival premiere of Maria, and Angelina Jolie came out with her three oldest kids as her dates. Then on Monday, Angelina still had promotional work to do at NYFF. She attended a screening and a Q&A session. It looks like she wore a satiny maxi dress (in a pale shade) under a furry black coat. Angelina loves some aviator sunglasses too.
It’s really been years and years since Angelina has done this kind of promotion, especially taking a film through the festival circuit. She seems to be enjoying herself and what’s great is that the fans have really come back around on Angelina. They’ve been treating her like what she is: a full-fledged movie star. Angelina has been rolling around the festivals with security, but she’s still made time for fans, even sending an assistant out to collect posters and signs from autograph seekers so she could sign things inside. Tons of people have been gathered outside all of her events, wanting to talk to her or get her autograph. A few of those people are very rude though. They got her to sign an old Mr. & Mrs. Smith poster with Brad’s face:

Page six had this news first. My gut instinct is a tabloid site got someone to do this. Looks like a paparazzi pic instead of a ‘fan’ photo is of her signing poster.
Her instinct probably told her that too. She showed class. I don’t know if i would have stayed as calm as she did, if I were in her place.
She should have signed her name on top of his smug face.
Or drawn a bubble coming out of his mouth saying “I like to abuse both my (ex-)wife and my children”.
She looks fantastic, but over it in these photos. Trash Pitt is in her past even though he’s desperate to hold on to her. People can be so tacky.
She looks glam and she’s a pro. She can sign a poster regardless of the fact that it has the face of her abuser and her children’s abuser on it. But it’s gross that she has too.
My autograph would have been right over his eyes.
I would also draw something on his forehead.

Of course pagesix and tmz reported this. Brad would not let Angelina have her comeback moment without finding a way to attach himself to it. He also went to support Nicole Kidman at a screening of her movie, what a coïncidence it’s the first year he’s involved during the best actress race.

Am I the only one who doesnt see the issue? I mean it was a movie she was in right? If someone asked Nicole Kidman to sign a poster of Eyes Wide Shut,it would be a big deal.
yes, that was a movie they starred in together. and that was the beginning of the so-called brangelina. the problem is that their relationship fell apart and that it happened because of violence. giving a victim of violence a poster with the image of her abuser to sign is sick. she has been trying to get rid of him from her life for 8 years for a reason.

It’s an old movie she did ages ago, my guess is they chose that specific one to provoke a reaction from her. A lot of times those “fans” are autograph resellers or paparazzi, so someone thought they’d get a payday of her being pissed off or declining to do it.
Well, they were out of luck if they were expecting some drama.
Imagine claiming to be a fan of Angelina Jolie then handing her a poster with her abuser on it, to sign.
