Cardi B wore Roberto Cavalli at the 2025 Grammys: best look of the night?

Last Grammy-related post of the day, I think – some fashion and gossip. Cardi B was my pick for best-dressed of the Grammys, and I always enjoy how much Cardi really enjoys being a fashionista. Cardi wore a surprisingly great Roberto Cavalli gown with tiger stripes. She just gave birth to her third child last September and her body really snapped back. Of course, it’s also possible that she’s had some surgical help – she’s gotten some help before. Anyway, she’s stayed single since splitting with Offset last year, and this is the way to turn up to the Grammys – in a great dress, looking fab.

Like Chappell Roan, Charli XCX chose a Jean Paul Gaultier look for the Grammys. It feels like this is the latest trend too – I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s like… more is more, excess, go bigger, go louder. The vibe these days is not a minimalist, clean aesthetic. That’s over.

People were so happy for Doechii – she won her first Grammy, for Best Rap Album. She also performed “Catfish,” which was one of the highlights of the show. Her speech was another highlight – she’s so inspirational and cool.

Last thing… on the Grammy red carpet, an AP reporter completely disrespected Babyface. This was completely awful, even more so that Babyface was disrespected for… Chappell Roan.

The disrespect shown to Babyface by those Associated Press reporters was infuriating. Their apology later was inadequate in my opinion. One of the reporters seemed embarrassed when the other called out for Chappell while interviewing Babyface. He handled the situation graciously and walked away.

Those reporters were unprofessional AF and deserve being dragged below Hades which is what’s been happening 😡

Woman on the right in silver was completely checked out before she got distracted by the midwest pony princess. How embarrassing to force your employer to apologize for your rude behavior, first on Xhitter, then to viewers on livestream, then directly to the rep of the 13X Grammy winner you rudely interrupted.

Cardi B hit all the right notes – fantastic, and definitely the best of the night.

The disrespect for Babyface was disgusting and unprofessional.

Doechii”s performance was so good. Cardi looked great. My favorite might have been Kacey Musgrave’s. I just liked the skirt and the belt with the white tank. Low key but cool. And that whole clip was embarrassing, Babyface was lovely and classy despite the immaturity of that interviewer. A mess.

    That was rude, AP!

Reporters, learn your craft and try not to be dum dums.
