Bill Belichick is considering sidelining his young girlfriend from managing him

Is Bill Belichick of sound mind and body? He’s 73 years old and while he doesn’t seem as “sharp” and laser-focused as he used to, I absolutely believe that he’s making his own decisions overall. He’s choosing to allow his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson to manage his life, his career and his media. He’s choosing to give her so much power. Now, do I also think that Jordon seems like a manipulative young woman who is getting what she can out of a much-older man? For sure. But hey, better to be an old man’s darling. Anyway, after Belichick tried and failed to do damage-control on his bonkers CBS interview, it’s looking like Belichick might be sidelining young Jordon from running so much of his business.

Bill Belichick is reportedly sidelining his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson as the fallout from the couple’s disastrous CBS interview continues. The 73-year-old coaching legend is looking to hire a PR specialist in lieu of Hudson, and has been in talks with former Bears VP of communications Brandon Faber for several months, according to ProFootballTalk.

The PR hire would help manage both Belichick’s new role as head football coach of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his public image, which was badly bruised by Hudson’s cringeworthy PR moves. Belichick appeared on CBS Sunday Morning last week to promote his new book, but it went viral for the wrong reasons after Hudson, a former cheerleader, interrupted to shut down a question about how the couple met.

“We’re not talking about this,” she jumped in after lurking off-camera. The incident sparked a media firestorm and raised concerns among Belichick’s friends about Hudson’s influence over him, according to Page Six.

In a statement released Wednesday through UNC, Belichick criticized CBS for using “selectively edited” clips and images to push the false narrative that Hudson was attempting to control the conversation.

Hudson, who began dating Belichick in 2023, has reportedly acted as his de-facto agent after he split with his “right-hand man” Berj Najarian following his departure in Jan. 2024 from the Patriots after leading them to six Super Bowl victories. Sports commentator Pablo Torre claimed on his podcast that Hudson is “the person that you need to go through to book Bill Belichick for a Super Bowl commercial, or for the other commitments he has as a multi-platform personality. She’s the gateway.”

Belichick has asked for Hudson, whom he described as his “muse,” to be CC’d on all UNC emails sent to him, according to the New York Post. She also torpedoed a deal for him to appear on Hard Knocks, HBO’s NFL docuseries, The Athletic reported.

This might be controversial, but I actually respect Jordon’s game. She didn’t link up with Belichick just to be a sugar baby or the trophy girlfriend. She was like: no, I’m going to run this man and manage him, even though I have absolutely zero background in any of that. Something tells me that even if Belichick ends up hiring some seasoned professionals, Jordon will still be the one running the show. If anything, she’s the one who will choose the seasoned pros around Belichick.

It’s too late — he’s already shown he’s a simp for a pretty young thing in his old age.

  2. Gah says:

Have to admire her game- she’s already gotten him to pay for millions of dollars in real estate that she owns through an LLC.

She is in the room or involved w comms in all of his deals. She’s bound to be getting a salary too.

She is so young but clearly not a complete idiot. Also everyone doing an interview has their PR people off camera saying shut it down. Walton Goggins had a similar situation recently in an interview where he and his team (2 people!) kept telling the interviewer ti move on but only this girl is getting a negative spin. Eg “lurking”

Come on it’s a double standard bc she’s not a pro? Or is it that she’s a you g woman who’s also his partner?

    • sevenblue says:

I think, it is the conflict of interest. On Walton’s interview, the questions weren’t about their relationship with those PR people. In this case, the questions she requested not to be asked were about her relationship with Bill. You don’t get to do that and not look like a controlling person tricking an old man. The way he looked in that interview probably made his business partners worried, so he needs to look like he is still in charge.

There is no fool like an old fool.
Belichick, was/is a dishonest coach and a bully to his players, hope the college players dive him nuts.

    • Tiffany says:

Several UNC players have already put their name in the transfer pool and the practice season hasn’t even started yet.

  4. Carol Mengel says:

Gotta give her credit for her hustle. But if he was some 73 year old lawyer making $200,000 a year, she’d never have given him a second look.

  5. Bumblebee says:

It’s all in the narrative. It’s okay for a ‘publicist’ to interrupt an interview and no one mentions their age, gender, or experience level. But not a ‘girlfriend/boyfriend’. She’s college educated, owns several properties converted into rentals and just because someone interviewed says she blew up a good deal for him, doesn’t mean she did. Plus, if Belichek is still sharp enough mentally to coach a college football team, why are we doubting his mental ability in a relationship? People need to step back and let family check in on his personal life. That’s not their business. Everything about how they judge this woman, not girl, is so one-sided.

    • sevenblue says:

Now, tell me how she acquired the properties you mentioned, because according to the reports, she came from humble beginnings. Nobody in their early 20’s getting million dollars worth property investment without family money.

If you are a publicist and you are stopping questions about your relationship with the person you are representing, how would the journalist know whose interest you are protecting?

      • DaveW says:

This! Bridgewater is a state school; a fine one but not where families with money send their kids. And I believe she was working as a cheerleading coach, part time. So for her to buy multiple properties, all within a couple years of seeing BB, and in the ultra competitive metro Boston real estate market, where even a complete tear down in a not so great area receives multiple over asking offers (and often all cash)…well, unless she won the lottery…. Although to be fair from what I’ve read BB is generous to his partners, bought another a nice condo, so good for Jordan, I guess, for leveraging his generosity into something that will continue to generate income for her, assuming she’s the sole person on the deed and doesn’t have to repay him.

    • Dutch says:

A pro publicist sets parameters for what is in and out of bounds before the interview. CBS said there were no restrictions on the types of questions that could be asked. So in an unfettered interview you have to be ready for anything, especially the thing that is most interesting about you, since the answers about his book were dry as the desert. She dropped the ball on an interview that traditionally throws the softest of softballs. She deserves criticism for putting her “client” in front of a camera unprepared for what might happen.

      • DaveW says:

She also deserves criticism for putting him in a torn, dirty sweatshirt for this interview and not even one from his current employer.

      • Jaded says:

@DaveW — he’s always dressed like that, long before he met her. It’s his schtick. She may be many things but she doesn’t force him into torn, dirty clothes.

    • Emcee3 says:

@Bumblebee: Are their IG photos still up? The surfside one w/ Jordan in an elaborate mermaid costume & Bill holding a fishing rod … Making those public doesn’t bolster their argument over what is out of bounds in the public sphere.

  6. Peaceful Warrior says:

Give her credit for the hustle? So you think elder abuse is OK if she’s making coin?
If this was a younger man taking advantage of an older woman, I bet the tone here would be much different.
    Disgusting.

    • Debbie says:

      Exactly.

    • Chloe says:

It could be elder abuse if he was not of sound mind, but the man is a fully cognizant adult – he is a head couch of a college football team. It’s not elder abuse, it is simply an openly transactional relationship

      • Sue says:

@Chloe – did you see his CBS interview? I know Belichick has not always been the most engaging interviewee, but he seemed genuinely confused by some simple questions. This is someone who has been talking to the press on at least a weekly basis for years and years. Yes, he was hired as a HC for a college team, but he is probably the most recognizable name in head coaches alongside Nick Saban. The Belichick who won 8 super bowls and coached the greatest QB we’ll probably ever see in Tom Brady may not be of the same mind anymore and may have been hired for his name and history alone. As someone mentioned above, some of the UNC players have already put their names in the transfer pool and it’s only practice season. Something’s not right.

      • DaveW says:

I think he’s fully cognizant and doesn’t care what people think of the relationship. My perspective is he came across as confused as he can handle a post game press conference but having to do a full court press to promote a book is a completely new/different experience he wasn’t prepared for and his “Bellicheck CEO” didn’t do her due diligence prepping him.

Not sure the rush to the transfer portal is BB, Jordan or simply the norm these days as college football players right now are all chasing the $$ and trying to get every possible cent, esp as the majority will not make it to the NFL.

      • Peaceful Warrior says:

How do you know that, Chloe? Did you evaluate him? Did you see the interviews? This man is in obvious mental decline and she has predator written all over her. That’s why people are concerned for him.

    • bisynaptic says:

If it were a young man taking advantage of an elderly woman, he would have the whole weight of patriarchy and the history of men’s taking advantage of women, behind him.

  7. Lynne says:

I think from the word go she has been using him.

  8. MidlifeSkinKate says:

Some of these comments are giving early 2000’s and I would love for us all to do a bit of investigation around our internalized misogyny during our quiet moments today.

    • Jaded says:

It’s not internalized misogyny, it’s the truth. She’s like a heat-seeking missile around rich older men. Her previous boyfriend was 64 and a very wealthy businessman, and she seems to have had no problems inserting herself into Belichick’s life while he was still involved with long-term girlfriend Linda Holliday. She’s a grifter plain and simple — a very smart one but a grifter nevertheless.

    • Bumblebee says:

Exactly Midlifeskinkate. But everyone here has decided she’s the young seductress completely in control of this helpless old man. A story as old as time. It can’t possibly be that’s he’s aware of what’s going on and they are both using each other! Or even that some of this is his idea! Nope, just blame everything on the her without considering there might be facts that aren’t being published.

  9. schmootc says:

I just want someone to tell me why she styles herself like she’s 40+ and/or an 80s nighttime soap star.

  10. Sister Carrie says:

As a Tar Heel grad, I find these two embarrassing and am seriously wondering why UNC thinks it’s a good look. Mortified.

  11. Giddy says:

I think it’s borderline elder abuse or just simply using him. When my widowed father was 75 he met a younger woman who began targeting him. He bought her a car, gave her cash gifts, then came the big one. Although he had a condo he really liked she began working on him to buy a bigger place that cost over a million. She “offered” her own savings, 10,000, to help buy it. Luckily my Dad wasn’t so far gone that he didn’t recognize her goal…to be half owner of a million dollar property for an investment of 10,000. My Dad cut off contact with her after that. Sorry, but I don’t believe that a young woman targets a man in his 70’s because she is so attracted to him and his great personality.
