City of Beverly Hills disowns homophobic Miss California contestant

A contestant in the Miss California pageant is earning unfortunate comparisons to Carrie Prejean with her ignorant, bigoted comments. “Miss Beverly Hills,” Lauren Ashley, quoted a passage from the bible that states the people in same sex relationships will be killed by God. Because, you know, everything in the bible should be taken at face value. The Bible also advocates sacrificing and beating children and treating women as property. You don’t hear a lot of people admitting they adhere to those parts of the Good Book.

Says Ashley to FOX News: “The Bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman. In Leviticus it says, ‘If man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them.’ The Bible is pretty black and white. I feel like God himself created mankind and he loves everyone, and he has the best for everyone. If he says that having sex with someone of your same gender is going to bring death upon you, that’s a pretty stern warning, and he knows more than we do about life.'”

Ashley will be competing in the Miss California pageant in November. She’s a big fan of Carrie Prejean, and has “no hate” for anybody, even her gay friends:

“That isn’t really the issue. I have a lot of friends that are gay, and … I have a lot of friends who have different views, and we share our views together.”

[From Towelroad via Gossip Rocks]

There should be a PSA for bigots and homophobes that it’s no longer acceptable to use the “I have friends that are…” excuse. Lauren Ashley may call herself “Miss Beverly Hills,” but Beverly Hills doesn’t want her. TMZ reports that a representative from the city of Beverly Hills says that they have nothing to do with this idiot. “Ms. Ashley resides in Pasadena … She does not represent Beverly Hills in any capacity.” TMZ clarifies by explaining that “contestants are allowed to chose which area they represent.” I doubt there are many areas in the US that would openly want to be associated with this woman.

Oh, and since we brought up holier-than-thou solo sex tape star Carrie Prejean, it’s worth mentioning that Ms. Christian Values is now living with her boyfriend.

    She has a man’s jawline…

  2. bros says:

that’s their pageant queen? she looks like a hell demon crossed with carrot top.

  3. ruru says:

Don’t sulk darling, it makes you look hella ugly.

  4. Peach says:

Is she seriously trying to ride in on Prejeans coat tails? That is what it seems like. “Oh I’ll release a homophobic statement and get some media attention and get paid for interviews!”

I believe the word thundercunt applies here.

Mmm, also,m “I have gay friends”
    NO YOU DON’T.
NO. REALLY. YOU DO NOT HAVE GAY FRIENDS.

Because no gay is going to hang out with some sexually repressed, Bible spouting bitch who tells them they should be put to death. It’s not gonna happen.

She may have some self-hating closeted ‘gay’ friends. But no self respecting gay would befriend somebody who thinks they should die for their ‘sins’.

That’s like the leader of the KKK talking about his ‘black friend’. It’s ridiculous and not an excuse to spread hate.

Which, rumor has it, Jesus wasn’t a fan of either.

  5. Praise St. Angie! says:

bros, I had the same reaction.

THAT’S a “beauty queen”? egad, they must have slim pickings in her town.

and I love how some of these so-called Christians pick and choose exactly which rules from the bible are worth following.

  6. simplicity says:

Can you enter a CA state pageant without a city name or support?

  7. snapdragon says:

she looks like linda blair from “the exorcist” in that top photo.

  8. Jason says:

simplicity: You must have a city name to enter the Miss California pageant, but you can choose any city that you want and you don’t have to reside there OR have their approval. LAME!!!!

I’m sorry, but I find it hard to believe that she had ANY gay friends. No self respecting gay man or woman would want to be associated with her & her bigotry.

  9. Huma says:

    Ugh. Stupid twits.

  10. moo says:

Here’s another fame whore trying to follow in Prejean’s footsteps. Ugh…. if you don’t like gay people, move OUT of California! PLEASE you ignorant dumbass….

  11. girl says:

Wow, must have been slim pickins in California if she was chosen.

She can think what she wants but she will definitely have to deal with the consequences.

I wonder what her punishment will be for mixing different fibers together for her ugly clothes. I believe the bible mentions that also. Seriously.

  12. velocity says:

The Bible also tells us to kill a priests daughter if she’s a hooker, and also tells us to kill those who don’t believe – but we’ve not to kill at all. If she’s going to quote one BS ‘law’, may as well say the others eh?!

  13. Iggles says:

    What a vile human being.

What Carrie Prejean said is nowhere comparable to what this chick said. One was talking about marriage, the other said all gay people are going to die.

She’s a disgusting bigot. I hate the whole, “I have gay friends” excuse. No miss, YOU ARE homophobic.

  14. Alexis says:

You don’t like her views? Fine, but don’t attack her.

  15. SammyHammy says:

Ah, America…the land of respect for religious beliefs. As long as you are not Christian.

  16. Snarf says:

    1. She looks like a tranny.

    2. Last I checked, we all end up dead no matter who we screw.

    3. The part of the Bible she seems so familar with also says you should sell your daughters into slavery and be stoned for mixing fabrics. Is that a cotton blend I see her wearing?

  17. Praise St. Angie! says:

I got no problem with Christians in general.

what I have a problem with is Christian hypocrisy…that is, picking and choosing WHICH of God’s rules should be followed. And which ones YOU should follow but THEY are allowed to disregard.

Follow one in a “black and white” fashion, then follow them ALL in a black and white fashion.

Also have an issue with people pushing THEIR morality on other people, or trying to push THEIR morality into law for everyone.

Not everyone has the same morals, and as long as people aren’t hurting anyone, abusing children or animals, then live and let live. Live by your morals, but don’t expect others to.

she’s got every right to spew her views, however vile others might find them. BUT, if others find her views to be vile, they have just as much right to react to those views, and give their opinion of her.

  18. djork says:

Oh, boo hoo, SammyHamn…America, the land of “Christians” who have no respect for ANYONE and have forced their narrow bigotry down our throats for far too long.

  19. Relli says:

I wish Hilary Fey would show these girls how to pray the gay out of their “friends” instead of turning to hate.

  20. jule says:

Christians are supposed to follow the new testament, however, some of them hand pick teachings from the old testament…for their own selfish purposes. I am sure Jesus would approve since he was all about acceptance and forgiveness….*sigh* I don’t care who you are, what you believe, just don’t push your beliefs on me and then judge me for not agreeing.

  21. clay says:

Well as a gay man myself, I don’t find her views offensive at all. I am well aware of what the bible says, but now I’m supposed to hate christians who believe what is written in the bible. So now all believing christians are bigots? I have a couple of devout christian friends whom I love dearly, and I know they love me as well. By bashing her you are just as hypocritical. She says that she believes what the bible says is true, that doesn’t make her a hater or a bigot. I’m also a gay man who is pro-life…..go figure!

  22. monkey says:

sadly, my little southern town would love to have her. *wretch*

  23. daisyfly says:

You know how I know she’s not friends with gays? Because if she was, they’d teach her to improve her tranny game, like learning how to shade under her jaw to make it appear less prominent, or getting rid of those ginormous bags under her eyes. Honey, if you’re going to pretend you’re female, you’ve got to look the part!

  24. dbell1911 says:

The word “death” refers to a spiritual death. We all have to live with rules. I can understand that the rules in the Bible are challenging, but they are supposed to be hard. I really don’t see why so many interpret that as hate!

  25. Chana says:

dbell I’ll tell you why it’s considered hate: Because it’s hate.

You tell someone that they are going to die (spiritually or otherwise) because of who they have sex with, that is a hateful belief, period.

My mum is a Christian and she is perfectly fine with gay people because it is God’s job to judge people, not ours. That is also clearly stated in the Bible but plenty of hypocritical Christians don’t follow that bit.

Christians are supposed to be kind, loving people who want the best for everyone. Some Christians have taken this to mean that spewing hateful rhetoric at people who have literally done nothing to hurt anyone else is what God wants them to do.

God will judge people however He wants to when they die. It’s not your job to do so here on earth.

  26. SisterMaryFrancis says:

Nope, it says NOTHING about a spiritual death in the bible it just says plain old DEATH.

The God I believe in wouldnt have anything to do wit the so called “values” you homophobes like to push out of your mouth hole.

Christians ARE NOT under attack, HOMOPHOBES and morons are just finding less and less of people who want to it around and believe in your HATE.

Trust me, the world isnt going to end because some man on man lovin is going on. IDIOTS!

  27. Madchen says:

I have a lot of friends who are _________. Sigh.

  28. princess pea says:

a gay man who is pro-life…..go figure!
Ooh, yeah shocker. Yet another man who thinks that they know better what should happen to a woman’s body. That sure is progressive of you.

You know what bugs me about the recent woe-is-me attitude from American Christians? These are the groups that push for more church in state, more laws based on religious rules. It shows a total lack of respect for the fact that many Americans do not put faith in the moral code of the Bible. It’s time to let go of some of the unearned Christian privilege.

  29. Amy says:

I f**king love the bible because it doesn’t matter what you are, what you’ve done or who you’ve done for that matter, JESUS LOVES YOU!!! If you read it long enough you can find arguments for and against anything you can think of, it’s just the bible bashers that zone in on the “anti” messages.

  30. ElizabethM says:

I wonder if Miss Assley fully comprehends the books of the bible were written by mortal men who were allegedly inspired by a holy diety. But still, written by *mortal* men. So everytime she (and other psuedo-Christians) spout off, they’re just repeating what some yahoo wrote. And most likely a misogynistic yahoo who thought women should be at home, pregnant and not aloud to think for herself.

Secondly, most people agree that Christianity is the religion derived from the teachings of Jesus, the Christ. I defy you to find, anywhere in JC’s teachings, any statement from Jesus about hating another person. Most of the “religious” idiots who try to spread hate using the bad/hateful/negative stuff in the Bible are quoting passages and verses that were in the Old Testament and were *not* stated or embraced by Jesus.

So, when someone tries to hide behind their “Christian” beliefs by spouting hate, they should stop ask themselves…..What *would* Jesus Do?

  31. clay says:

    To: princess pea…

“Ooh, yeah shocker. Yet another man who thinks that they know better what should happen to a woman’s body. That sure is progressive of you.”

typical response for someone who doesn’t think of consequences for one’s actions. You should have the right to do whatever you like with your body….well short of murdering someone else. Sorry to burst your bubble, but regardless of what you think “abortion” really is… it is murdering another life.

  32. princess pea says:

clay, we could debate that one for weeks, and you will never ever sway me. Suffice to say that I am not surprised that there are less-liberal homosexuals in the world, just as I am not surprised that there are progressive, and accepting Christians.

Why is your definition of abortion (“murder”) more valid than mine?

  33. clay says:

    princess

murder: to kill intentionally and with premeditation

I don’t know of anyone who wants to die, or to be killed. If someone is killed against their wishes, I would have to call it murder. Please don’t read into my postings as being hateful, as I do not intend them to be, but let’s call a spade a spade.

  34. princess pea says:

    clay

Abortion: The premature exit of the products of conception (the fetus, fetal membranes, and placenta) from the uterus. It is the loss of a pregnancy and does not refer to why that pregnancy was lost.

A spontaneous abortion is the same as a miscarriage. The miscarriage of 3 or more consecutive pregnancies is termed habitual abortion.”

But! This is an article about an anti-homosexual-rights beauty queen, and not about abortion rights at all, so let’s not go into it now.

  35. ElizabethM says:

I apologize for jumping into clay and princess pea’s debate however, I just have to ask clay a question….why on earth do you think women (regardless of which side they’re on) aren’t aware of both sides of the debate and the possible consequences of getting an abortion? I don’t know where you’re from but in America, that debate is drilled into girls from an early age. By her parents/guardians, her church, her school, her doctors, the media, etc. To act like someone who disagrees with you must be ignorant of the consequences of pregnancy, abortion, giving a child up for adoption, etc. greatly diminishes your position and weakens your credibility as to how informed *you* are about the topic.

While I respect your right to be pro-life, I would strongly caution you to argue the merits of your beliefs and try not to assume someone who disagrees with you is uninformed and ignorant of the situation. That is especially important if you are debating a woman because like it or not, you will never, ever, know what it is like to be a woman who has to make the decision regarding what to do about a pregnancy.

  36. Julia says:

    Clay, here’s the thing:

If I took a sentient newborn baby and shook it until it was dead, I’d be a murderer.

If I took a clump of cells that may, or may not, at some point become a baby, off of my uterine wall, that does not me a murderer make.

It’s ironic to me that people use the same argument to condemn birth control: that preventing life is as criminal as ending it once it has the potential to blossom, and it’s just as assinine. People often “abort” babies without even knowing it–having unprotected sex or using the “rythm” method results in zygote deaths (when the lining allows fertilization but cannot support full growth), but nobody goes around suggesting that women be sure to only copulate at times when their uteruses are prime for fertilization.

The “life is sacred at all costs” argument has even filtered into the animal world. I work in veterinary medicine, and there are many people who want to spay an animal, but will not if they think it might have babies. Problem is, all that winds up happening to the unwanted kittens/puppies is that instead of never developing fully, they are individually euthanized at a shelter. I fail to see how the two events are equal.

Terminating non-sentient life that cannot survive on its own is not the same as killing a baby that made it through a full term. if it is, then every woman who miscarries or becomes pregnant at a time when the uterus does not support life is guilty as well. You may say that the difference is intent, but I say that I don’t want to spend my life pumping out baby after baby because any missed opportunity to create a life would make me a murderer.

Lucky for you, as a gay man, this issue should rarely come up, and you can consider yourself free to have sex at will. I’ll be sure to buy pre-natal vitamins and spend most of my time in separate rooms from my fiance in your honor.

  37. Roma says:

Snarf: your cotton blend comment made my day.

  38. ElizabethM says:

Amy, my mother is a devout Christian who genuinely makes a effort to live her life according to the teachings of Jesus and even she is horrified by the crapola of the Old Testament. It isn’t just the “bible bashers” who zone in on the “anti” stuff. Most decent people try to follow the love, not the hate.

  39. Ron says:

    To Peach… Amen Sister!

An observation from a gay man here. You simply cannot be friends of any real measure with a religious zealot. A good friend of mine from college went down the religous zealot you-are-going-to- hell road with me. I have no contact with that person any more, primarily because they are not smart enough to be my friend, and I have more self respect than that would allow. If the bible brings you comfort I am all for that. If you believe every word in it is true, you are an idiot and I don;t have the time to deal with you. In the bible it says I can own slaves of neighboring nations, so I WANT MY CANADIAN NOW! Please.

Oh Yeah and this chick is a big ole attention whore and she knew this would generate headlines.

  40. ElizabethM says:

Julia, I think I love you….but not in a gay way. That might get us both smited. 🙂

  41. Amy says:

ElizabethM, I’m a Catholic (practising), I wasn’t slagging off any religious group when I said bible bashers, I was talking about the people who bash on the bible so much that beat all the good stuff out and are just left with the bad like good old Ashley here…

  42. Praise St. Angie! says:

Julia and ElizabethM, I love you BOTH.

but not in the gay way either, of COURSE! 😉

  43. oh hey says:

So, she’s living with her boyfriend…isn’t she living in SIN, so to speak? I guess those rules don’t apply to “pretty”, blonde, straight women.

  44. margo says:

I wonder if all those that choose to quote selected lines from Leviticus…especially women realize that in Leviticus it also says to stay away from menstruating women and do not touch anything they touch or you will be unclean too!-

Or …..oh really who does spout this shizz? And it also excludes lesbianism–so someone ask these bible quoters if lesbians can get married since it’s not mentioned in the bible-LOL!

    Oh boy what fun

  45. xxodettexx says:

thanks julia! you said everything i wanted to say… i find it highly disturbing when others believe the have the right to make your choices for you and/or judge you harshly for making said choices when [as someone brought up in religious fundamentalism AND then later in a slightly more liberal baptist church] i have always been told that ONLY “god” can judge man…

  46. daisyfly says:

Oh, are we actually going to argue against her stance biblically? Well, that’s fine and all, but using Leviticus to argue against other Leviticus points is moot since Jesus said that he came to do away with the old laws.

That means nothing in Leviticus, Deuteronomy, or anything in the OT is relevant. All of the sins mentioned in the NT (basically the things that will keep you from inheriting the Kingdom of God) are all viewed EQUALLY in the eyes of God, and NONE, not a single ONE demand the punishment of death.

She can use biblical quotes all she wants – she just makes herself look stupid by doing so.

  47. Late Night Wigs says:

My personal opinion on homosexuality is I do think it’s a sin but it’s not me doing the sinning so quite frankly I don’t give a flying f*ck what happens to your soul. Not my business, don’t care, do what you want. It’s your life and you will answer for it, not me, so have at it! I’m only responsible for my salvation and I personally don’t care where any of you spend eternity. It’s all about free will and I think other Christians would do well to remember that. And I have gay friends (I really do lol) even though I am fairly serious about my faith, but I never bring it up. EVER. Because I don’t care about their souls. It’s just easier to not care about anyone else because if you have any sort of slightly un-PC opinion you’ll be crucified (haha) for it, so to hell with everyone. THAT is what I think all Christians should do. Mind our own business and let the sinners go to hell. Doesn’t affect us, so why waste the breath preaching to people who don’t want to hear it, won’t listen, and will rip you to shreds for expressing that un-PC opinion? Screw it!

  48. Julia says:

I am delighted that my rant struck a chord with awesome people. 🙂

If someone chooses to have a baby, that is lovely, but I fill with boiling rage when I see those bumper stickers that say “abortion silences a beating heart”. It’s just so inaccurate. Late-term abortions, perhaps, “silence” a heartbeat, but at the level of development most occur, there is no fully developed heart to beat. Stop being so melodramatic, pro-lifers. 🙂 Blastocysts don’t have heartbeats, either, so the anti-stem-cell-researchers can suck one, too. Perhaps people would be less freaked out by these things if they understood how tenuous even a desired zygote’s grasp on life is and how long we are visually undistinguishable from the fetuses of chickens, sharks, cats, etc.

Maybe our platonic group-hug of awesomeness will spark a movement of scientific/religious friendship that will spread enlightenment and awesomeness throughout the land. If not, at least we can all high-five. 🙂

  49. girl says:

The heart starts beating about 21 days or so after conception. Most procured abortions happen a few weeks after that.

  50. ElizabethM says:

@Amy….in that case, I totally agree with you on people (like the girl above whose name I seriously can’t remember) looking only for the bad and ignoring the good things of the Bible. 🙂

And back to the original point of the post…..Team Beverly Hills FTW! Love that they immediately disassociated themselves from her.

  51. annie says:

latenightwigs, thats pretty much I feel anymore, and Girl, you’re correct. Science is on the side of the unborn.

  52. annie says:

    Now, let the hate continue!

  53. Oi says:

This discussion is tired, old and each side is as equally bigoted and hateful. Period. Damning her for her views is exactly the same thing she did to the gays, no ifs ands or buts. This is discussion is proof. No one is getting anywhere. There is nothing new being said, gained or moved. Drawing attention to people like her in the first place is simply to bring out all the self righteous people to scream at the other side.

And can we please stop perverting the English language? Homophobic is not the same as anti-gay.

  54. gg says:

I think people should not slag each other whether they’re Christians or Buddhists, Jewish, etc. or atheist, or not.

It’s a personal choice and there are both good and bad people in this world that claim they practice their faith, but just know they only speak for themselves and not for the other believers or nonbelievers. Please don’t generalize. People are all different in how they believe and practice.

  55. Kim says:

What happened to free speech? She is entitled to feel any way she wants AND have gay friends.

  56. Kim says:

People can disagree with people and still be good friends. She can have gay friends but not agree with their lifestyle. Do all Republicans ONLY have Republican friends. Do all Tranesexuals only have friends who are Transexuals? I have a trans gender friend and I will never agree with her decision but I love her to pieces. Thats the beauty of freedom, you can feel how you want and be friends with who you want.

  57. Kim says:

You dont take the parts of the Bible you like and apply them but say well I dont lke this part so Im not going to adhere to it. Jesus didnt intend for only parts of the Old Testament to be followed. Who are you to say this part is ok but this part is not? This is why I have never understood any gay person wanting anything to do with religion esp Chritianity. Christianity states pure and simple – being gay is an abomination and you will go to hell – period. Its states it plain and simple with no room for diff interpretations. Whether you adhere to it or not is your choice but you cant pick and chose which parts you like and call yourself a Christian. You can – but you arent.

Im not anti gay or anti Christian, it just has always puzzled me how why any gay person would call themselves a Christian when their “religion” states they are an abomination and will burn in hell.

  58. princess pea says:

Kim, the difference is that Republicans aren’t declaring publicly that non-Republicans should burn in hell. Transsexuals aren’t going around saying that God hates everyone who’s not trans. I absolutely agree that people can disagree and still be friends, but I think there’s a line in the sand somewhere around thinking they should be put to death.

ps. Does your trans friend know that you think her gender identification is a choice she made? Most of the gblt community sees it differently.

  59. snapdragon says:

“I have a trans gender friend and I will never agree with her decision but I love her to pieces.”

kim (can’t read your name, sorry if it isn’t kim) – why do you have to “agree” with it? she isn’t hurting anyone by being transgender. and really it isn’t a “decision” she made to become a woman (assuming she is a male to female person), it is who she truly is inside. why would you disagree with someone being who they are? would you rather she live a lie?

  60. lucy2 says:

If she chooses to life her life word by word from the Bible, that’s great for her. She can think, feel, and believe whatever she wants, as can we all. I suspect she picks and chooses what fits her own agenda, but many do, and whatever.

My problem with it is when people use their religious beliefs to take away the rights of others. The US is not governed by the Bible, or any other religious text, and when you’re talking about equal rights, civil rights, those arguments have to be put aside.

And on a shallow note…she’s a beauty queen? Really? She must have one heck of a talent, because I’m not really seeing the outer beauty part.

  61. ElizabethM says:

Actually, Kim, Jesus (whom Christianity is based on) NEVER condemned gays. The condemnation was in the Old Testament which is Judaism, not Christianity.

(And before anyone thinks I’m the second coming of Mel Gibson, I’m not slamming those of the Jewish faith, just pointing out the difference between Old and New Testament.)

  62. Madchen says:

“I would strongly caution you to argue the merits of your beliefs and try not to assume someone who disagrees with you is uninformed and ignorant of the situation.” *Rock on, Elizabeth.*

It’s not the Christians or the Jews or the Muslims who are so hateful and divisive and dangerous, it’s the fundamentalists. Of any stripe.

  63. Ruffian9 says:

    “#ElizabethM:February 25th, 2010 at 2:46 pm” –Bravo- well said.

  64. Ruffian9 says:

“Julia: February 25th, 2010 at 2:53 pm” – No point in me adding to the ‘debate’; You, Ron, & Peach, you’ve said it all… and much better than I would have.

  65. Trillion says:

She’d be right at home in Saudi Arabia.

  66. snapdragon says:

“She must have one heck of a talent, because I’m not really seeing the outer beauty part. ”

lucy2: yeah, i think we’ll all find out what her “talent” is when her sex tapes come to light, just like her hero, carrie prejean. it’s just like my granny used to say, “pretty is as pretty does.” this chick is neither.

  67. CB Rawks says:

“An observation from a gay man here. You simply cannot be friends of any real measure with a religious zealot.”

    Too true, Ron!
I have a sister in law who is one, and is also one of the most hateful people I know. We don’t see her anymore because of it.
She condemned me to hell years ago actually, for living in sin with her brother. 😉 So she probably also feels the need to keep her distance from me – the unholy succubus.

  68. Ana says:

The comment about the Bible being black and white, that made me laugh out loud. Has she even read the thing??? Or just the Bible for Dummmies version???

  69. Cakes says:

Girl- Blood doesnt arrive into the embryo until 40 days after conception

  70. She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named says:

    @Peach: “Mmm, also,m “I have gay friends”

But no self respecting gay would befriend somebody who thinks they should die for their ’sins’.

That’s like the leader of the KKK talking about his ‘black friend’. It’s ridiculous and not an excuse to spread hate.

Which, rumor has it, Jesus wasn’t a fan of either.”

@PrincessPea: a gay man who is pro-life…..go figure!
Ooh, yeah shocker. Yet another man who thinks that they know better what should happen to a woman’s body. That sure is progressive of you.”

*sigh* thank you. Too many quotes to include here.

Peach, Princess Pea, ElizabethM, Julia, et al. for your excellent arguments.

My “faith” in intelligent, funny, thoughtful women has been restored.

  71. Mouthbreava says:

Not really getting into this argument but I figured the people in it might want to see this:

    http://jezebel.com/5479032/the-next-anti%20choice-target-miscarriage

they’re trying to pass a bill in Utah that could send women to prison if they have a miscarriage. Even if they did it by accident, like fell down the stairs, or just can’t conceive to full term and lose the baby.

    Now THAT’S ridiculous.

Apparently God put this woman on earth to raise up a passionate debate on Celebitchy. ‘Cause she doesn’t seem worth much else.

I’m a white woman married to an Indian man and we have a bi-racial daughter. At first, all the Christians, including my family kicked against it – told me I am a sinner and I’m such a bad person for getting involved with a different race and here’s what I said “ Fuck you all and your beliefs – I don’t give a shit” I have a beautiful marriage, beautiful kids and wonderful life. There is nothing more that I want or need. You know where my Christian mom is today? – she has jack shit, NOTHING that makes her happy. Her life is filled with regret, stress and pain. I am not criticizing Christians …………I’m just saying – she’s in church every opportunity that she gets ………. Where’s Jesus and why does he not take care of her when she’s living every second of her life for him?

I believe that you should do what makes you happy, whether you are living in sin, whether you are a homosexual, whether you are a transsexual. I don’t believe that anyone will be punished – I don’t believe that there is a heaven, hell or a jesus. I mean come on – everyone is “God Fearing” because we were taught to be that way – it’s a measure of control. My mom would say “Are you being naughty? – jesus is watching you” and I’d shit my pants and start behaving myself immediately.

Don’t hate on me – the last time I aired my opinion about Christianity there was a whole bunch of you attacking me. This is MY OPPINION! I’m entitled to it.

Oh and Miss California is a moron. Judgemental little shit.
