Britney Spears has spent the last several months as a brunette, and while that color agreed with her, the state of her weave was almost always busted. So imagine my surprise when I saw these new photos of Brit from this weekend – apparently she went into a hair salon that actually knew what they were doing, and they fixed her hair in a rather spectacular fashion. I can’t even tell if this is a weave! Is it? Or is her hair completely grown out now? I think the front part is her real hair – the bangs especially – while the longer pieces in the back might be definitely are a weave. But still, improvement!
Fame Pictures notes that Brit got her hair done at Nine Zero One in West Hollywood, CA on February 27, 2010. CB (and many of us) were worried when Brit went back to brunette, because she seems to be a little bit crazier when she’s got darker hair. It was a little more than a month ago when there were reports that Britney might be speaking in a fake English accent again, and so were all put on a Code Pink Wig High Alert. Britney even had a scary allusion to The Pink Wig of Doom in her Candie’s ads, released two weeks ago. So, basically, Brit going back to blonde might be just what the team of highly specialized doctors ordered. The state of Britney’s weave is like a mood ring for her crazy – and right now, she seems to be doing better, thank God.

Yah, the hair is okay (though boring) but apparently, she’s now expressing her loopiness through scarves. What is going on there? What stylist thought this was funky and new? Or is the problem that for the first time, given the supposed healing powers of the Good Blonde Hair, they did let her dress alone is this is what happened? Weird…
I disagree that the weave isn’t busted. Why are her bangs a totally different color than the rest of her hair? Not cute, but she does look a lot better than she has.
I think it looks crappy. Her bangs are too dark. Why doesn’t she just let her real hair grow out?
She is probably back on her meds, which is a good thing. Britney looks so much better with blonde hair.
@Anna- The first thing I noticed was the scarf too. What the hell? She seems to be simutaneously using it as a scarf and a belt.
I think she needs to ditch the weave and keep it at current length. She’ll look great with short hair… :/
I don’t know how extensions and weaves work, because I’ve never had them, but I think they wreak havoc on your hair. So does the constant dyeing and colouring of your hair. And I think that causes a problem with your normal hair growing out. It just causes too much damage, what with all the over-processing.
i think she looked great with the short bob she rocked when she got divorced from k-fat…she needs to do that again.

I’m with dread pirate cuervo and Jillian. I think this weave looks as busted as any of her others. The fact that they kept her natural hair darker than the fake hair just makes the weave look tacky and obvious. Enough with the weaves already, Brit would look cute if she just went natural!
I guess nobody has been to X17. They have pictures of the back of her head and it looks horrible.

I’m just going to guess that she is probably letting her own hair grow out long before getting rid of the fake hair for good.
Why can’t she just rock some shoulder length hair and have it look healthy? She shaved her head a few years ago, it should be fairly long by now (if she would just take care of it!)
Why doesn’t she just let it grow out? Hair is dead as soon as it comes out of your head. New growth is always healthy (depending on your diet, of course).
If she would just leave the weaves alone and get a cute short, hair cut, her hair could grow in lovely and natural.

Why can’t you all leave Brittney alone!!!!!!! Her current CD has had so many great songs…and she was cheated at the Grammys! As crazy as she might seem…she still puts out a great record with great catchy songs! Long Live Britt!
I can’t understand why anyone ever gets a weave. They look terrible, they apparently hurt like hell, and they do such lasting damage! I would be much more likely to shave all my hair off and then grow it back and have a variety of short hairstyles along the way.

It still amazes me how this girl can look so fantastic on stage when she is performing or in video clips but such a trashbag from top to toe off stage. Isn’t there a world in between ?
