Just when you thought Britney was recovered after her downward spiral two years ago comes news that she’s adopting some strange old habits. This story is from British rag The Sun, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s made up. Supposedly Britney is speaking in an English accent in an attempt to imitate maniacal baby Stewie from “Family Guy.” The last time Britney was known to speak in an English accent was when she was driving around aimlessly being followed by countless paparazzi, many of whom were British. She also dated that creepy British paparazzo Adnan Ghalib right before her breakdown in early 2008.
Here’s the story from The Sun:
Britney, who has a lengthy history of odd behaviour, has taken to trotting around the Mondrian Hotel mimicking the troublesome child, who speaks with a plummy British accent.
A source said: “Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy.
“She’s been staying in the hotel’s penthouse suite and has been watching box sets. She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent.
“It’s a bit weird, especially when she’s in the gym speaking like a camp Brit.”
Stewie is voiced by Family Guy’s creator SETH MacFARLANE. He is obsessed with world domination and plotting to kill his own mother. Given Britney’s own character flaws, perhaps her behaviour isn’t that odd.

Before Britney’s breakdown she was staying in hotels too. She’s staying at a hotel in LA now and she has a mansion nearby, so it’s all a little worrying. Britney is still under a conservatorship and her father can step in at any time, though. Still, she’s finding ways around his restrictions, like using one of her bodyguard’s credit cards to buy shoes when she’s over her $1,500 a week spending limit. Britney did extremely well on tour, so maybe her dad should just step in and plan some more activities so she keeps busy. There’s nothing wrong with watching “Family Guy” and attempting a British accent, but if the pink wig comes out she needs and intervention for sure.

The guys at TMZ think Britney goes to hotels to visit her mother, who can’t stay with her when she’s in town, due to her father. However, she’d better get blood work done to check if she’s getting the proper level of antidepressents. Sounds like it’s time for an anti-psychotic as well. What is it with her and never wearing clothes that fit? It’s not like she couldn’t afford a stylist to give her a clue. At the very least, she needs to figure out what size she is and she absolutely needs to figure out that bra size. She has constant issues with harnessing the twins.

She will need to battle all her life if she has true mental problems like bi-polarism or depression. So many regular people with these ailments slip off their meds regularly, it becomes a constant struggle for the family members not willing to give up. Or in Brit-bit’s case, not willing to lose the golden calf.

I can’t say that I’m surprised…we all know Britney is mentally ill, and she doesn’t seem to take her illness seriously, so this was pretty much inevitable. I honestly don’t think she’ll ever be able to be in control of her own life, because not only is she mentally ill, she’s also borderline retarded IMO, and she just doesn’t have self-awareness or the intelligence to accept it, so she’ll be defiant and think she can go without her medication and that she knows best, so I think this will be a recurring thing in her life.
I’m glad her father is taking charge, he may not be perfect but she just cannot be left to her own devices. I feel bad for her children and don’t think she should have custody…not because she’s mentally ill, because you can be a good parent regardless of that, but because Britney puts Britney first always. I think she’s disgusting in so many ways and she needs intensive therapy and medication and to be constantly monitored…but she won’t accept that it’s for the best, she’ll fight it, so she does NOT need to be in charge of two young boys when she’s barely older than they are mentally. She also needs to buy a damn bra that fits. With all that money there is no excuse for her looking like a sloppy pig.

I’m with #25 on this. It’s a sad state of affairs. I feel sorry for her as a human being who imo is pretty much a broken person. And it looks to me like it is a strapless bra that’s slipped down. Those things aren’t always the best. I never wear them; never feel like they do my boobs any justice. And my life doesn’t require clothing that need strapless bras.

I can’t understand how she can be unfit if she is able to do tours and make money? Her conservators can’t have it both ways. Either you take conservatorship and get her the help she needs or you cut the strings and let her go. They keep saying she is not fit to care for herself and yet they push her to do the things (tours, music) that put her in that predicament in the first place.

Look people, being bipolar doesn’t always equal batshit crazy. It is currently believed to be a spectrum disorder like autism because it affects each person differently, to different levels and at different periods in life.
I am bipolar. Yes, sometimes I have rough periods, but that doesn’t mean I am unable to care for my children, or live my everyday life. When Brit was all ‘crazy’ that was likely mania. It sucks. You don’t even realize there is anything wrong, but once you get on proper meds, it will help. However, meds need to be adjusted and sometimes things slip. This doesn’t mean she needs to quit doing what she does and go live on a farm somewhere.
I wish people could look at mental illnesses the same way they do other lifelong illnesses. We don’t ask for this- we hate it in fact, and it would be really great if people could see it for what it is: an ILLNESS that we are doing our best to deal with.

I think that Britney may be trying to get by without her meds now and she’ll realize that she needs to go back on them. As for the conservatorship, all that is sickens me because everyone is making money off of Britney, yet still not truly helping her, imo.
