First, let me just say for the record: I am not calling Jennifer Love Hewitt “Pear Ass” because I’m a nasty person – Love has told the story (twice now) as to how Jamie Kennedy referred to her as a “pear ass” the first time he saw her naked, and how she and Jamie have “embraced the pear”. So, with that embracing of the Pear Ass in mind, I bring this lovely update – Jennifer Love Hewitt has lost some weight, and she looks amazing. I didn’t really see a problem with her (slightly heavier) Pear Ass before, I just thought it was funny that she was always trying to convince us that she was a size two when she clearly wasn’t.
So, anyway, this is Jennifer Love and the cast of The Ghost Whisperer celebrating their 100th episode on Monday night in LA. Love seems to be wearing one of those Herve Leger dresses that every startlet has in a million colors. This look is working for me on Love – I think she looks really pretty, and it’s obviously her night. One hundred episodes on a hit television show is nothing to sniff at. Good for her.
Oh, I mentioned this in the links yesterday, but it bears repeating: Love is writing a book! A book about relationships, described (by Barnes & Noble via Wonderwall) as: “Jennifer Love Hewitt is a self-proclaimed ‘love-aholic’ and hopeless romantic (her middle name is Love, after all!). She has been lucky and unlucky in love, and lived to tell — and she’s done it all in the spotlight… Hewitt offers her hard-won wisdom and tells us how to embrace love with both feet on the ground. First, we have to shoot Cupid. We have to believe that happily-ever-after is hard work—it’s not all flowers and symphonies and floating hearts.” This makes me like Love less. As Wonderwall says, who is going to buy this crap?

I think that dress is just really flattering, not to take anything away from her. I just know that I saw Khloe big foot Kardashian in a similar one looking just as slim.

She looks fantastic, but I feel a book coming on. You KNOW it’s going to be titled “Party of One”. The subtitle is less certain but it’ll be something like “How I Discovered Myself and Went From Pear Ass to Apple Bottom”.

Meh…The women love those herve dresses so much because they are like a dress made of spanx. It’s probably squishing her all in…boobs included. lol…
I’m guessing the weight loss was what made her boobs smaller, rather than a reduction. When I gain or lose weight, my boobs are the first thing to change, and they do so drastically… I mean, three cup sizes with a 10 pound weight change.
She looks fabulous. However, (there had to be one), is anyone else as grossed out as I am with the French manicure on the toes? Ick. They make toenails look like they are way too long.
@Lee yes! French manicures on toenails are one of my pet peeves. Toenails are supposed to look short, not long!
I’m not sure she had a reduction-she is just the type who loses all her weight above her hips. her face, arms, stomach are all a lot skinnier and her legs are still carrying more fat and are harder for her to tone (I am the exact same way). I doubt she had a reduction-I just think thats where her weight is easiest reduced.

why is it hollywood starlets can afford thousands of dollars to pay a stylist to pick out clothing for them, but they can’t pick up a hairbrush to get the naps out of their hair? Seriously does she not own a mirror? And someone she paid told her that looked nice? I don’t get it!
I suspect her boobs are the size they always are, they just aren’t padded and pushed up. Add a good Wonderbra and she’d be as buxom as ever.

Her boobs look small because she’s probably not eating anything, at least for the week before this event probably. With her body type, that’s kind of the only way her current physique can be achieved.

I suspect she is succumbing to curse of your 30’s – the dreaded “deflated boob” syndrome. Sigh… for most of us it happens after having kids, but I don’t think childbirth is necessary. (This happened to SJP and Reese, too, at around this age. And any weight lost comes off the chest, not the ass.) Of course, she could have done what Denise Richards has admitted to doing – taking the implants out once and for all.
No boob reduction. As ANY large breasted woman can tell you, the “girls” shrink quite a bit when you lose a significant amount of weight which she clearly did. To be honest though, although I also think Love looks unbelieveable here, I wonder how much of this radical, rapid transformation was natural? Not a bum dimple in sight where there was once a million! All the excercise in the world won’t get rid of cellulite. I wonder how she did it….

when you first loose weight, you loose when you first gain. your boobs. she didnt get a reduction, she just lost weight and also some of her boobs. if they were fake to start with ( like SOOO many woman in hollywoods are ) then they would still be really big.
