Oscar Isaac looked incredible promoting & premiering ‘Frankenstein’ in Venice

Four years ago, Oscar Isaac went to the Venice Film Festival to promote one of his many projects with his dear friend Jessica Chastain. Photographers already loved the two of them, but then on the red carpet, as they posed together, Oscar tenderly ran his hand along Jessica’s arm and then kissed her bicep. It was INSANE. Well, four years later, Oscar was back in Venice but there were no redheads around. So Oscar Isaac just decided to eye-f–k every camera in Venice. This is what the youths mean when they talk about a “face card.”

Oscar was in Venice this year to promote Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, where Oscar is Dr. Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi is “The Monster.” Del Toro is famous for wanting as many practical special effects as possible, and he was apparently hellbent on using old-school face prosthetics for the Monster, as opposed to CGI or whatever. I’m not sure that Dr. Frankenstein was supposed to be such a sexy beast? And Elordi was genuinely working the cameras hard as well. Apparently, Elordi is the scene-stealer in the film, and Venice audiences loved the movie, giving it a 15-minute standing ovation. This comes out on Netflix in November.

I’m also adding photos of Molly Gordon (in Armani) and Mia Goth (vintage Mugler) from the premiere.
