Princess Anne is worried about Prince Andrew’s well-being under ‘intense pressure’

We’ve entered the “poor Prince Andrew, what about his mental health” part of this particular newscycle. This is not the first time the Windsors and their press stenographers have even tried this line either. I remember, back in 2023, during the first wave of “King Charles is really trying to get Andrew out of Royal Lodge, he swears” stories, the palace made sure to drop in some lines about how Charles never wanted to go too hard on Andrew because Charles worried about Andrew’s state of mind and what Andrew might do if he was thrown out of his palatial 30-room mansion. Note that Charles and his lackeys have never expressed similar concerns about Andrew’s victims or Jeffrey Epstein’s victims. Nor have they ever publicly worried about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s mental health after the Windsors themselves authorized a years-long smear campaign against H&M. Well, in the past week, royal reporters have seemingly been ordered to shift perspectives to show some sympathy for a man accused of raping teenagers trafficked to him by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Not only that, but there’s a talking point about how Princess Anne and Prince Edward are “worried” about Andrew.

Princess Anne is said to be “concerned” for Prince Andrew’s welfare amid growing pressure facing her younger brother. Andrew recently relinquished his Duke of York title after concerns about his ties to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

King Charles’ younger brother also gave up his membership of the Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior order of chivalry in Britain. However in a statement he says he continues to “vigorously deny the accusations against me”. There have also been calls in recent days for MPs to discuss his living arrangements in Royal Lodge. The prince signed a lease with the Crown Estate in 2003 that lets him live in the 30-room mansion if he funds maintenance work.

Now Richard Kay, Editor-at-Large of the Daily Mail and a friend of Princess Diana, believes Anne and her younger brother Edward are “concerned” about Andrew.

When asked if Anne could have acted as a “mediator” among the Royal Family on the Palace Confidential podcast, Mr Kay replied: “I think Anne and Edward have played a role.

“I think, if anything, they’ve been concerned about their brother’s well-being, how he’s handling this intense pressure. You can’t forget there is a human being at the centre of this. I think maybe Anne, and particularly Edward who is closer to him, have been very concerned about how the King handles the whole situation and I think they feel there’s a duty of care towards Prince Andrew.”

[From The Daily Mirror]

I actually believe “duty of care” is a real thing, especially within this f–ked up institution, but again, it’s fascinating to see the recipients of the royal “duty of care” and which royals do not receive such care. It’s grotesque to say that the Windsors are worried about how Andrew is handling the “intense pressure” though – there is no intense pressure anywhere around. He relinquished his titles for the millionth time, and he might have to move into a smaller home which will still miraculously be rentfree. He will still be enabled, coddled and protected by the institution. Where is this intense pressure?

Here’s evidence that Buckingham Palace was workshopping the “poor Andrew” line last week, back then it was “royal sources.” Now it’s Anne and Edward who are so concerned. “A predator has faced justifiably bad headlines for two weeks!” GMAFB. None of these people would have been able to survive the ordeal they’ve put Harry and Meghan through for years.

I’m not a very forgiving person and have a vengeful streak. So I say this within my duty to care.

If Andrew is not made to answer for his crimes, then it’s best he declines to renew his lease on life and goes to rot in the deepest pits of hell with the rest of them.

I hope this doesn’t get me banned but I know I’m not the only one to feel this way.

  2. Hypocrisy says:

Virginia Guiffre committed suicide, where was the concern for her mental health and wellbeing? A man who rapes trafficked minors is not mentally stable in the first place, he should be incarcerated.. this tactic of the monarchy literally twist my stomach it’s absolutely disgusting.

  3. Nanea says:

How nice of all members of the RF and the BM who have gone public with similar sentiments recently…

… to let us know at the same time that they couldn’t care less about the victims.

  4. MSJ says:

What about the intense pressure of his accuser, the victim of his and JE actions? Seems like they expect that people are supposed to forget the victims and consider the well-being of the perpetrators.

They are more worried about how the Andrew feels about being exposed for his actions than how the victims feel about a continued lack of justice for decades. Damn! Anne and Edward and the rest of that family are so entitled. They think only their perspective and wellbeing should be considered. 🤨

  5. Jay says:

This family and their “concerns”. They refused to help a pregnant Meghan who was experiencing suicidal ideation and in fact stepped up the abuse. So they can go kick rocks with their fake “concern”.

Also, am I the only one getting a “You in danger, girl” vibe here for Andrew?

    • Tina says:

Nope I’m with you there. My first thought reading all these new stories is that Andrew is a liability for the firm and if I were him I’d be sleeping with one eye open. Nobody wants this storyline or ‘problem’ to last another 30 years.

  6. Brassy Rebel says:

Their indifference to Harry and Meghan is one thing. But what’s especially striking and sickening here is the fact that none of these weasels, to my knowledge, has ever expressed the slightest concern for Epstein’s victims, despite multiple opportunities through these media whinefests.

  7. LeaMea says:

If she’s so concerned she can offer to put him up. I am sure she has a guest bathroom or two.

    • jais says:

      Ha! Right?

    • Dee(2) says:

Either one of them could. Edward and Anne both live on giant estates. I’m guessing their ” concern” doesn’t extend that far. None of these people seem to realize how these briefings go over with people who aren’t afforded every luxury in life from birth. There’s no way in hell I’d let any story like this go out of I was either one of them

    • Hypocrisy says:

She also has rental properties on her estate where he could live out the rest of his days.

  8. Oh poor poor pedo might be stressed at losing use of his useless titles and having to move to a different home!! Really? Such a loving family so concerned for the pedo but not for his victims!! He should only be stressed if he is suddenly investigated or prosecuted for his crimes but we all know that won’t be happening so excuse me if I do t give a rats ass about his mental wellbeing!!

  9. Lili says:

I think the RF need to rethink their Royal Work, Anne was spotted coming out of a Save the children, which is so ironic, now they are on Mental Health when they havent shown any regard for their family Members Mental health until it comes to this scandal, and Camila with her domestic violence, these people can’t be believed or trusted

  10. IdlesAtCranky says:

“Grotesque” is the precise word for this steaming pile of rotting garbage.

It’s astonishing how often these people say the quiet parts, the opinions that should never be mentioned in public, right out loud in the papers.

These people live on the public dole. They do have a duty of care: to the public. Yet not one of them has ever expressed any thought, let alone taken any action, to uphold that duty to the victims of trafficking and abuse.

Grotesque is precisely the word for them.

  11. Bqm says:

Anne is pretty no nonsense. I doubt she’s that sympathetic or worried about his mental well being. She probably sees him as a fuckup who’s tarnished their parents and brought it on himself. Doesn’t mean she doesn’t love him but I don’t picture her being anything but angry at the whole mess.

  12. MSJ says:

Didn’t Charles also sympathize with sexual abusers of children and wrote supporting letters on their behalf after their crimes were revealed?

The royals are abhorrent and entitled freeloaders. I think they all believe they are above the law. They’ve been allowed to escape consequences their entire life so it’s not surprising that they have that sense of entitlement.

This is now the time for the entitlement to end, for Andrew to face an inquiry into the crimes and cover up.

  13. Monc says:

Eff her ugly face and her uglier brother…. Go live with him then you sow….

  14. KC says:

Andrew is more than protecting himself from reality. His demand for Frogmore and Adelaide Cottage is more than evidence he has NO shame.

He has the money, the privilege and enough sycophants and toadies in Great Britain as well as internationally to keep him in a bubble. Let him go to Dubai and lord over the other degenerates that have shuffled off with millions. Aren’t he and Juan Carlos distant cousins. They sound like they would be perfect together.

  15. Amy Bee says:

There’s absolutely no concern for the victims from the Palace nor the press. It’s disgusting and the debate about where he should live has always been irritating to me because the press should be calling for him to be investigated and to talk to the FBI. The establishment has never shown any concern for the mental health of Harry and Meghan and did everything they could to push her over the edge. These people are evil.

  16. Eurydice says:

I don’t believe it. Just last week Anne was “fed up” with Andrew.

  17. maja says:

Yes, of course there is a risk of suicide when someone grows up in an infantilising patriarchal system that teaches them rules that simultaneously encourage extreme arrogance and prevent people in that system from finding their own goals that fulfil their lives and stabilise and develop their personalities in a healthy way. Separation and individuation do not exist in this system, only a false, ice-cold symbiosis. And then the system suddenly publicly denounces a single person for things that have always been covered up and done behind closed doors. It is logical that this person loses all faith and no longer knows what is happening to them.
Why is the system letting this one person down? I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what the Yorks are thinking. It was always fine – strange deals, cover-ups, everyone was above the law. Why is that no longer the case… why us?

  18. etso says:

    I very much doubt that.
