What was your reaction to Kim Kardashian & Lewis Hamilton’s relationship? Mine was “shock” and then “oh, that makes sense, actually.” They sort of move in the same elite spaces, they’re both rich, and they’ve known each other socially for years. It is what it is, although I’m aware that Formula 1 fans are not feeling as blasé as me. So, Kim and Lewis have been happening since at least late January/early February, and they hard-launched at the Super Bowl. This week, Kim is in Tokyo with Lewis… and all of her kids.

Lewis Hamilton has joined Kim Kardashian and her kids for a spring break trip. A source confirms to PEOPLE that Kardashian, her three younger children, Saint, 10, Chicago, 9, and Psalm, 6, are on a vacation with Hamilton, with whom Kim, 45, has been romantically linked. Kim shares the three children and daughter North, 12, with ex-husband Kanye West.

Kim and her children are in Tokyo for spring break, alongside Khloé Kardashian and her children, True, 7, and Tatum, 3, the source tells PEOPLE.

The source’s confirmation comes after Kim and Hamilton, 41, were spotted in Tokyo.

Another source tells PEOPLE, “He’s just an easygoing guy with great energy. Her family likes him and Kim’s very into him. They are both busy with their careers, but see each other as much as possible. It’s more than just a casual connection. It takes a lot to capture Kim’s interest and she’s definitely intrigued.”

Ahead of their vacation, the pair fueled the rumors after the F1 driver wrote a flirty comment on The Kardashians star’s Instagram post from the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

On March 16, the SKIMS founder shared snaps from the March 15 event and several clips and photos of herself getting ready. In response to the sultry snaps, Hamilton wrote a simple comment: “😍.”

One: I bet Kanye haaates this, all of it. Kanye hates that Kim is dating in general, he hates that she’s dating someone pretty famous, and he hates that Kim is already bringing the kids around Lewis. Plus, doesn’t Kanye love Japan too? Isn’t he always visiting Japan? I’m pretty sure. Two: I don’t really have much of an opinion on this Kim-Lewis situation. Is it too early to introduce him to her children? Probably, but again, there are different rules when you’re part of this elite set. And who knows, maybe her kids wanted to spend time with Lewis and get to know him.
