Tiger Woods was glassy-eyed & carrying loose hydrocodone when he was arrested

Last Friday, Tiger Woods caused his fourth major car accident close to his home in Florida. Once the cops arrived, Tiger was quickly arrested and taken into custody because he was obviously impaired. This wasn’t even his first “rollover” car accident! And it’s crazy that he’s still had his driver’s license this whole time, even after four accidents, one previous DUI and at least one rehab stay for pill addiction. Apparently, as of this weekend, he still refuses to admit that he needs to hire a driver. Bonkers. Now TMZ has exclusive details about the accident and Tiger’s arrest. Dude had hydrocodone on him at the time, and he was glassy-eyed and hiccuping during his arrest.

Cops say Tiger Woods had two loose hydrocodone pills in his pocket at the time of his DUI arrest … with the golf superstar claiming his cell phone and radio distracted him prior to his rollover crash. TMZ Sports has obtained the arrest affidavit in connection with the March 27th incident in Florida … which details everything that led to the 50-year-old’s stint in jail.

According to the report, Woods was sweating profusely after the crash, despite sitting in the back of a vehicle with cool air flowing … and a deputy noted his movement was “lethargic and slow,” and he showed “severe signs of impairment.” When he removed his sunglasses, the deputy observed Woods’ eyes to be “bloodshot and glassy,” and his pupils were “extremely dilated.” They also noted Woods appeared “extremely alert” during the investigation.

Woods was asked if he takes any prescription medication … and he replied, “I take a few.”

During a search of Woods’ person, the deputy stated they located two white pills inside his left pants pocket with the marks “M367” — revealed to be hydrocodone, an opioid medication used to treat severe pain. In his 2017 DUI, he was out of his mind when officers found his car on the side of the road — and the toxicology report from that incident shows Tiger tested positive for 5 different drugs, including hydrocodone.

Woods agreed to field sobriety tests on Friday — and he appeared to have a leg injury, as he was “limping and stumbling to the right” He explained he has had seven back surgeries and over 20 operations on his leg. He had a compression sock over his right knee, according to the report.

According to the report, Woods had a gnarly case of the hiccups throughout the investigation.

When asked if he consumed alcohol that day, he responded “none” … but stated he took his prescription medication earlier in the morning. He stated he did not consume any illegal substances.

As for what caused the crash, Woods claimed he was busy looking at his cell phone and changing the radio station … and didn’t realize the car in front of him had slowed down until it was too late.

At the jail, Woods took a breathalyzer … and both samples came back 0.00. He refused to take a urine test. He was then taken to a hospital due to being involved in a traffic crash … but refused all treatment. When he was discharged, he was transported back to jail.

I don’t think he was drinking or drunk either. The breathalzyer was probably accurate, and I don’t believe Tiger’s larger problems are alcohol-related. His problems seem to be sex addiction and pill-addiction. While I get that most or all of his surgeries are related to golf, has anyone asked if Tiger shows signs of drug-seeking behavior? It would not surprise me at all if he’s been doctor-shopping too, looking for doctors who will write him all of the prescriptions he needs/wants.

Soon after Tiger’s arrest report was released yesterday, Tiger announced that he would once again seek treatment. He doesn’t say the word “rehab” but I hope that’s where he’s going. He needs to go somewhere he can detox and recover from everything. I hope this is his rock bottom and not just a ploy to get ahead of the Florida courts.

  1. Smart&Messy says:

His sex addiction rehab was a ploy to save his career and sponsor deals after his constant cheating on his then wife became public in a spectecular way. Those rehabs were a PR trend for a few years back then for cheating celebs. I don’t think he has sex addiction in a pathological sense, but more like he is a douche who sleeps around and is a rx pill addict.

    • Brassy Rebel says:

Given his fame and fortune, there is probably no shortage of willing women to sleep with. I don’t know if that makes him a sex addict or just an opportunist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  2. Sarah says:

Can’t stand this entitled f**king a***ole. It’s a miracle he hasn’t killed someone with his drunk/ drugged out driving and I fear it’s only a matter of time before he does.

    • Meredith says:

It’s truly amazing that he keeps flipping his vehicles without harming other people.

    • M says:

You’d think almost losing his leg would be enough of a wakeup call, but opiods are a scourge on humanity. I refused them after major surgery recently. I’m not even willing to risk it.

  3. Brassy Rebel says:

The mug shot is brutal. One would hope that part of the treatment plan is forcing him to contemplate that photo for more than a minute.

  4. Mc says:

It sure sounds like needs a conservatorship.

  5. Flamingo says:

He’ a danger to himself and others. I sure hope they got a warrant to get his blood tested. He refused all tests and urine collection. I assume he got legal advice about this for ages to not give anything. Fight it in court with no proof. Or fight for the charges to be dropped.

And another one that could hire a fleet of drivers year round. on 24/7 call. But they just need to be in the car in the drivers seat to feel some sort of control.

    Shame.

    • Meredith says:

They don’t need to get a warrant because (at least in most states) there is a presumption of guilt if you refuse testing. It’s not a loophole.

  6. Lady Rae says:

He really needs his driving licence taken permanently away from him. He seems so damaged from being held as this child golf Prodigy and not being able to develop emotionally whatsoever but refuses to get help and sort himself out.

  7. Meredith says:

Tiger is a lesson in not letting your entire identity come from one thing. Alysa Liu shows how much better life is when you become a whole person and are not just a talent.

  8. another cross to carry says:

MAGA tiger woods is getting his just reward! lmbao

  9. GAFFNEY says:

    The headline alone🤣

  10. M says:

I feel bad for his kids. They are always going to remember these incidents. Let’s hope Tiger can maintain sobriety this time.

  11. ChillinginDC says:

He could end up killing someone. I hope he gets charged honestly. And that he stays away from Black churches after when his redemption tour starts.

  12. Felicity Fox says:

The passive, “situation I find myself in” struck me. It feels as though “finding” yourself in any situation means you didn’t put yourself there.

    • Normades says:

      Exactly no accountability

    • Lucy says:

Finding himself in, and then distracted by radio and cell phone. In sure he was distracted by the radio or cell phone, but a sober person wouldn’t have had the same problem. He’s refusing to acknowledge being impaired has anything to do with it.
