Tiger Woods’ estranged wife Elin was photographed out jogging in her native Sweden over the weekend. (We don’t have rights to those photos but you can see them here.) Elin retreated to Sweden two weeks ago with the couples’ two children, daughter Sam, nearly three, and son Charlie, 15 months. Recently we’ve heard that their “divorce showdown” is “imminent” and that Tiger may have confessed to as many as 120 affairs as part of his sex addiction therapy. Adding credence to the story that these two are about to announce a divorce any day now is a new report that Tiger has consulted with a well known celebrity divorce lawyer in his area. This follows reports that Elin is moving forward with the divorce and that she’s met with lawyers as well.
Tiger Woods may have hired himself one of the most high-profile attorneys in the business when it comes to multi-million dollar sport star divorces, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to the New York Daily News, Tiger has met with Jeff Fisher, who represented golfer Greg Norman in his split from wife Laura, and Brooke Gordon in her divorce battle against NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon.
Fisher is based in West Palm Beach, FL. He enjoys the local media attention that’s come from his many cases involving the super-rich, but that’s something that may put him at odds with the very private Woods.

Tiger’s tumultuous personal life may be taking a serious toll on his once-stratospheric golf career. He didn’t even qualify to compete for the last two days in the Quail Hollow Championship in North Carolina over the weekend. A 20 year-old Irish player, Rory McIlroy, won his first championship with a record setting 10 under par to defeat Phil Mikkelson. McIlroy is the youngest player to win a tournament since a then-22 year-old Tiger Woods in 1996. Again, Tiger didn’t even make the cut this time.
In amusing related news, one of Tiger’s countless mistresses has filed a lawsuit against the Ritz Carlton for canceling her reservations at their Charlotte, North Carolina location without her consent. Adult entertainer Joslyn James is on a tour of the country’s strip clubs that roughly parallel’s Tiger’s golfing schedule. Her lawyer, the ubiquitous Gloria Allred, penned an e-mail to the hotel’s general manager that claims that James was barred from the hotel because Tiger planned to stay at the Ritz Carlton that same weekend. Allred claims her client was told that she could not stay there because “she was a high profile guest and they were concerned about media attention.” Allred blasted the Ritz for allegedly favoring Woods over James and wrote “we are appalled to think that you might have chosen to accommodate a rich, famous golfer who has admitted lying to his wife, his fans, his business associates and others over a woman whose heart he has broken and whose only fault is that she fell madly in love with Tiger Woods.” You know that Woods brings a bigger entourage with him and that James isn’t going to be able to afford to stay at the Ritz once she’s no longer able to trade on her connection to Tiger. It’s not like she’s a steady customer. Tiger is going to spending his money on hookers and hotels for several years until it runs out. If he doesn’t watch it he won’t even have a golf career to distract him from his womanizing.
Tiger Woods will bounce back. Elin bye and face your life, stop the distraction.
No surprise on the divorce news, but only Tiger and Elin know when it will happen. The rest is speculation.
He has not qualified for tournaments before, and it only means he was off his game last week. He did well in the Masters the other week where he has come in fourth before. No drama here.
The ex-mistress and the Ritz Carlton sounds like a setup by Allred. If one is going to cause a situation, especially for publicity, with another guest, of course they will be denied a room. She will get quiet settlement money unless the Ritz Carlton decides to slap Allred around (my choice).
I hope Elin walks away with a truck load of cash for her and her poor babies. Can’t imagine what they will think of him when they are old enough to Google his sorry ass.
From everything I’ve read it seems that the last straw for Elin was his failure to give enough attention to the relationship once golf season rolled around. My guess is that she was willing to work on getting back together and he made the right noises, but then went back to business as usual for golf. He’s young enough he could have taken a year off. Obviously, he’s way off his game this year anyway and taking the time to work on his marriage would have benefited him over time.
All he seems to be the master of now is bad judgment.
I’m not so sure it was golf that was the final straw. I think more likely it was the sheer number of affairs plus bringing the neighbour’s 21 year old daughter to their home was about as low as any cheater can get….nothing was off limits for him. And I’m sure Elin is not unaware of the fact that he’d still be carrying on with his ho’s if he hadn’t been found out.
God this chick is gunna have so many potentials [and gigolos] wanna takeup where tiger left off. -all that dosh.
But have read she’s very nordic in nature ie., cold and hard-headed [conservative]. Something sent tiger on a sexual rampage.
And scandinavians esp.,swedes can be very superior. Not that one would doubt it.

I can’t believe the divorce wasn’t in the works the minute Elin heard the 120 women figure. She bought that house in Sweden fairly early on, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s when the talks started.
I wonder how many of Tiger’s remaining sponsors really want his sordid secrets in the headlines or how much Tiger’s going to be willing to just give in to get things done with quietly and quickly and keep his lucrative deals.

I’m glad the Ritz bounced the hooker. People that go to Ritz Carlton’s are usually middle aged to older and don’t want to be surrounded by a sleazy tabloid intrigue. Why should she have a right to stay there? The other guests have a right to enjoy their expensive vacations in peace. I loathe Glora Allred anyway. Completely sick famewhore that masquerades as a feminist.
