You see, Frances turned 18 years old. And even though little Bean was already making decisions for herself – like choosing Kurt Cobain’s mom and sister as her guardians last year – Bean now has even more control over her estate, and her mom… well, I can’t even tell if Courtney is happy about that. That about sums it up. Can you even imagine if your mother did this to you? It’s like Courtney is stroking out on Twitter, honestly. If I didn’t KNOW that Courtney was tweeting one-handed, with a crack pipe in the other hand, I would be worried. But Courtney adheres to my cockroach theory – the more consistently f-cked up a person is throughout the years, the more they’ll survive, year after year.
Oh Courtney. When Court writes these incoherent tweets I am convinced she isn’t sober. Courtney really needs to be sober. I suppose Courtney is just really emotional that she isn’t apart of her child’s life and I would be to.

As you read it, you can see the escalation. It goes from asking why, to pleading for Frances to come home and then to anger and accusations. Typical of an abuser. It speaks to there having been so much more that went on then just witnessing a drug-addled, mental case and all the chaos that comes with it. Thankfully someone stepped in and said no more.
It’s the drink. They get all jacked up and drunk and then they are pickled. Can’t die. They last and last. Pickled. I know a crackie who falls down into creeks and falls off roofs and crashes his bike – at least one or two major issues a week – and he just lies there all night and all day (getting seriously sun burned) and when he wakes up he does it all over again. This just makes me feel sad for all involved. I don’t think there was abuse per se but I think Frances found herself playing the mother role and rightfully didn’t want to, so she had to separate herself from Courtney so she (Frances) could have a shot at a life of her own. It’s remarkable that after the childhood she’s had, you never hear about Frances out partying like Lohan. Hopefully time will heal both Courtney and Frances. There must be loads of pain there.

I know that Courtney Love is particularly insane, and I don’t use twitter, but I have noticed when I am linked to some celebrities twitter page or whatnot, that these “tweets” are almost entirely incomprehensible. Is it just me? Is there some new internet speak I am not privy to, or do these people just lack basic language skills?
Every time Courtney does this I am reminded of how angry I am that Cobain would selfishly take his own life, sentencing his child to a life with this woman as her only parent. I was a huge fan but 16 years later, I am still disgusted by this. He claimed to love Frances, wanted her to have a better childhood than he did. And he left her with THIS.

I know the Courtney Killed Kurt rumours are pretty well considered conspiracy theories, but look that one guy up (I forget his name – he had a weird wrestling alter-ego and was freaky looking) who claimed on tape to have been approached by Courtney to kill him, and before the documentary could even air he was killed in a “mysterious train accident”!!!!!!!! WHO IS KILLED IN A MYSTERIOUS TRAIN ACCIDENT? I never bought the whole tale but I found that detail highly suspect even on its own, even if Kurt really did kill himself.

Kurt had suffered from severe mental illness and the drugs didn’t help. To say that he was selfish comes from a place of not understanding depression. Kurt never came across as selfish but a man in deep, deep pain and tortured by it.

Poor Francis. she needs to get away from all of that insanity, and Courtney needs help. It breaks my heart to see an 18 year old kid go through this. that is a hard enough time, trying to figure out who you are, without this kind of abuse being hurled at you.

No, not stfu. Should Frances Bean ever surf the net, it is better she see that perfect strangers can recognize abuse when they see it, not just ignore it or whatever you are proposing. When people act in a shocking manner, as in CLs abusive tweets, they provoke a response. Her being an addict is sad but it doesn’t make her abuse any less real for her kid. Frances Cobain has never said anything mean about her mom. She decides to live elsewhere, and her mom publically accuses her of being a liar, deceptive, a sell out, and of ruining her mother’s life.
