Yesterday we learned all about Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine’s ongoing feud, which those of you who watch “The Voice” have known about for some time. The show had its finale on Tuesday night, and the drama between two of the judges has overshadowed most of the news about the winner. “The Voice” earns excellent ratings and is going to continue on for a third season, of course. This has at least one of the other two judges, Cee Lo Green, worried about how this is all going to play out when half the panel members can’t get along. I think he’s half-confirming that those stories we heard about shouting and name-calling backstage are true. Aguilera and Levine aren’t just yelling at each other when the cameras are rolling. Here’s more:
“It’s getting a little old and a little inconvenient for everyone,” Green, 37, told Us Weekly of the bitterness between Aguilera, 31, and Levine, 33, which came to a head on Monday’s show when Aguilera slammed Levine’s singer Tony Lucca over a “derogatory” cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems.”
Although Green tells Us he was only peripherally aware of the brouhaha that went on behind the scenes regarding Lucca’s song choice, the coach wants the negativity to end — and fast.
“Adam hasn’t come to me and spoken to me [about his issues] and neither has Christina. But whatever it is, I’m hoping that we can get over it,” Green admits. “It’s not something that we should carry over into season three. I want the integrity of the show intact.”

Some of you floated the theory that this whole thing was staged for ratings, but I think that it’s genuine. Aguilera is a narcissistic diva who takes things personally because it’s all about her, and Levine is a jerk who enjoys pushing her buttons.
As for Aguilera’s issue with Levine’s contestant Tony Lucca, who was on The Mickey Mouse Club at the same time she was as a teen, one of their former co-stars told TMZ that XTina and the other young girls on the show were all “in love” with Tony, who was the “alpha male” on the show back then. So that might explain why she gave him such a hard time.
A source tells Hollywood Life that XTina is so difficult on the set, that the crew “hates her.” Hollywood Life has a ton of stories on this, including some exclusive quotes from Lucca that make it seem like he’s their insider source. The crew has supposedly worked out a whole system for dealing with XTina when she gets in a tizzy during rehearsals. This description cracked me the hell up.
“When things get heated — on and off set — the people in makeup have been told to go to Christina and work on her so she doesn’t start complaining or yelling. If she starts carrying on and making a scene [with the other coaches], the people in makeup act like a pit crew and rush to her to keep her quiet.”
This is just what we’ve been hearing from the tabloids, so I don’t doubt it. Their source also claims that they doubt XTina will be around next season. I’m not so sure that’s true, though, when her antics get so much attention. There are plenty more stories on Hollywood Life about XTina, and I won’t bother to recap them all. You can read them here. It’s all about how she’s a nasty piece of work on set. Lucca claims he won’t even get into the same elevator with her she’s so unbearable.

I actually think she’s a good coach on the show, she knows what she’s talking about and I think offers good advice. But it’s not something other people couldn’t do, if there’s too much of a problem.
Cee-Lo is right, they need to not carry it over to the next season. It made for a lot of uncomfortable moments this season.
It’s sad when the man who wears superhero costumes, oversized prop sunglasses, and bad wigs is the only voice of reason.

We had all these “rumours” about everyone hating her the first season and saying she was gonna get fired and she was back for season two also the talk of her being fired for the third season is BS she’s already signed a $10,000,000 contract for the third season, why would they give her a massive pay increase and another season if EVERYONE hates her???

And about that guy from MMC she has been against him because…
1. he is a BASIC one tone singer (as she said).
2. He’s been relying on his MMC connections (Xtina not recognising him/Justin Timberlake supporting him on twitter/covering a Britney song) and Adam’s dumb bromance to stay in the competition while more able singers on Adams team were thrown aside for him.
People need to just get over the Xtina hate tbh, if she hadn’t put weight on and worn clothes a lot of people don’t like I doubt she would get this level of hate tbh…

All I ever hear of Christina in the press from her is her bashing other people or responding to people bashing her for bashing other people. @Bluhare, I just don’t get how she “appears” to be an alcoholic? When she goes out she gets drunk, most people do… The only time she was out regularly was right after her divorce proceedings started, she was never drunk and dissorderly either.

I don’t think Adam Levine had any choice but to get back in Xtina’s face regarding Tony. She was awful to Tony from the very beginning, and it would have been very awkward to just let it go. And, I don’t think it’s just the crew that hates her- the producers of The Voice didn’t show her in a very flattering light- ever.
I can’t stand Xtina, and wish they would replace her. I doubt if they will, but she ruins the show with her ugliness. I did love seeing her run out there to console her singer wearing her sequin studded Depends.
Christina is an amazing coach to her picks. She really knows her stuff. But the woman is a bitch who is so pretty, yet ruins it. But all I have to do is go listen to You Lost Me, I Am, Birds of Prey, Little Dreamer, Lift Me Up, Stronger, Monday Morning off Bionic and I can overlook it all. Timeless songs. What a voice.

Look Xtina isn’t a great person-but Adam/Tony are just as much to blame for this whole thing. She has the nerve to call Tony a one note singer (which is is) and they have continued to drag out drama, with song choices, calling her a bitch-and basically being bullies. And when she calls them out on it-Tony Lucca goes running to the media, and Adam calls her the c word.

Tony Luca is NOT a victim. This whole thing was played was out on purpose and he encouraged it. He’ll probably become the biggest loser in this battle between the three though.
He went on the show because singing is his passion and he needs this one chance to show himself and get a record deal and his family needs him to succeed etc etc etc (what all the contestants want), and then every time he opens his mouth he’s recalling MMC, saying he was in there with Christina, asking Justin to support him on twitter, doing a Britney song… I’m surprised he didn’t make a ‘Hey girl…’ joke to reference Gosling. Then Adam and him chose a song aimed at Christina and he was suppose to wear that Team Christina t-shirt instead of choosing a song to showcase himself on tv so he could have a chance the industry as a professional with a record deal. Seriously, who is Tony Luca? I learned hardly anything about him but the fact that he was in the mickey mouse club and that he was part of this drama. From a marketing point of view he really isn’t looking appealing, there is no package to sell. The choices he and his coach made put emphasis on all the wrong things, but his coach won’t suffer from it. Also the program milked this whole thing and Tony’s a tool for not realizing that the games that he and Adam purposely played week by week could damage his longed for career. It looks like he cared more about being in the show than showing his worth as a focused professional individual with the chance of a longterm career. (yeah I know this is just a lame entertainment show that hasn’t even delivered any successful artists, but the contestants don’t seem to realize that)
Christina and Adam will just cash their million dollar checks and move on and never think about him again.

I didn’t watch the show, so because of the press attention I may know who Lucca is, but I know more about his controversy with Christina than I do about any ability he might have to sing. Maybe the press he’s gotten over the whole thing will give him some leads in the industry, but he would have been smarter to capitalize on both Adam’s and Christina’s contacts in the business. He probably views all the press as a positive thing, but you’re right, in a few weeks no one will care who he is or what happened on a T.V. program.
Xtina and Adam should just go f*@k the shit out of other and get it out of their systetms and move on to next season. Can you imagine those two divas doing it? I’m on top, no I’m on top etc etc etc………

The bitchy snarky comments she had for anyone not on her team. Over and over she would pull this, then targeting on Tony. It really became way too much and made her look petty and bitchy.

I said in the thread yesterday that I thought she had a crush on Lucca while there on MMC and everyone said that no she did not remember him and she was so young and he was so old. @ Truthtella, are you on her payroll because all you comments almost always run down her resume. She is not a pleasant person, this has been confirmed time and time again. Also you talk about how she only had one album flop, you fail to mentioned that her big tour was cancelled as a result. She did promote it but her attitude left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth (the Gaga comments) on top of a album that was not that great. She believed her own hype and it failed. If she had more tact and a more plesant demeanor she would have had more success and there would be another judge on The Voice. She needed the positive press and she was getting a bit of it the 1st season (I know I liked her) and then it seems to ge going downhill. It’s sad really because she is quite talented.

2. “Bionic” was not a bad album at all, not her best at all but it was way better than some of the trash that’s been big since. The only problems were that a few tracks could have been cut and that she only promoted it for like 2 weeks in the US and not at all internatiinally.
3. I still don’t get how her comments about Gaga were so bad? Gaga had ONE song out at the time and it wasn’t even that big yet so how is her not knowing who Gaga was such a crime? Also your forgetting the fact that for about two years before that (because unlike Gaga she can take more than a year between albums without worrying about being forgotten) Xtina had been saying her next album would be going in an electro direction but when Gaga’s album dropped first everyone (lead by once relevant Pigrez Stilton) accused her of jacking Gaga when she had been planning that direction for years anyway and that Gaga had completely stolen her early image from a singer called Kerli anyway…
4. If you bother to do any research instead of just going with the standard BS spread by Perez at the time her tour wasn’t cancelled because of lack of ticket sales, At the time it was cancelled it was No4 on the summer tour chart and all the VIP tickets for the tour were sold out…

Seeing as you’re a truth teller, I’d like to point out that Christina was arrested (but not prosecuted) for public drunkenness and couldn’t give her address when asked. Hardly something a social drinker gets busted for.
And, yes, I’m qualified to offer my opinion. I’m a “raging alcoholic” and as such haven’t touched the stuff in years. I can spot one a mile away because it’s like looking in a mirror.

I’m 23 and last year the same thing happened to me, I was at a party and clubbing drank way too much got a taxi (cab) and didn’t know my address properly because I’d recently moved so i got taken to hospital… when i woke up i was really embarassed and haven’t gotten that drunk ever again… does that make me an alcoholic?
TruthTella, you will not change anyone’s mind about Xtina. We all have our own eyes & ears and some will overlook her personality flaws because she impresses them with her talent & the rest of us will see her as the immature, unpleasant person she is.

At the end of the day, if you frequently go on record being anything but gracious towards other performers, the public will think badly of you and will believe bad press about you, especially if there is a lot of it.
She’s a victim of her own bad press and she needs to rehab her reputation.
I wish she’d go back to that time when she did her hair brown and appeared on SNL, with her body covered in a classy suit, sitting on a stool and singing “Beautiful” I think a capella. It made me cry it was so gorgeous and I thought she’d made a new fan of me and I decided then and there I liked her.
Except she went back to being a tacky ho after, so it made me sad she wasted the opportunity to clean up.
WHOA WHOA… Tony Lucca from the MMC, as in he who used to date Keri Russell, she of Felicity fame.
When i first moved to Chicago I worked with this girl at SBUX who claimed to be Tony Lucca’s biggest fan and also president of his fan club. I loved the MMC and we caught a good moment on it until I mentioned that i loved the show Felicity (what i was bartender getting home at 3AM and WE used to play it in syndication then). Her whole face clouded over and she proceeded to tell me that Keri was not the person she appeared to be and that just like her alter ego Felicity, the first chance she had she dumped Tony for Ben (Scott Speedman) once the show took off. Which, I found kind of funny but she was super cereal about her undying devotion to Tony Lucca and this was like 5 years ago. I assumed that like most of the MMC who didn’t make it big he had just faded into obscurity.

I love this site but what I can’t stand is how women can’t catch a break from the commenters. Come on guys. Christina, Beyonce, Rihanna, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Stewart. I could go on. It seems like women are always bitches while men are held to much lower standards. I just don’t get it.
I think XTina should be fired from the show. They should put on a female artist with more talent and less ego. I nominate Jewel or Sarah McLachlan. I don’t like Adam either but I think he is the star of the show more so than XTina.

I can buy she has arguments with Adam, but she was particularly negative to Tony Lucca during the competition. It was very clever, because her nastiness wasn’t blatant; it was very “read between the lines” most of the time, but I just felt she really hated him. I thought maybe somewhere between the auditions and the live shows he did something that offended her. I think they do need to replace her, because the last few weeks, she looked like she could care less, her comments were all said with zero enthusiasm, were short and pretty much the same. I think she’s already tired of the show and wants more attention than this kind of show gives her.
Christina argues with everyone. She also says really nasty things about everyone, including celebrities and agents who gave her a shot when she was trying to get a record deal or even make it. She has always had an ego too. I just can’t watch the voice because it’s been inflated so much, which is a shame because she has the making to be a great artist. She needs to know how to treat people and be humble. Two qualities to me makes a diva but to others don’t qualify as a requirement.
