Miley Cyrus & Stella Maxwell made out as the paparazzi cheered: thirsty?

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus Instagrammed a photo of herself in a “Gender is Over” t-shirt. She recently said she identifies as “gender fluid. Miley also has a new NSFW V magazine shoot to go along with a decent essay about fashion. I nearly discussed the essay today, but Miley overshadowed herself with more antics. This is classic Miley. She’ll take her clothes off and wonder why no one takes her seriously.

Miley pulled another stunt. We heard about her new Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend, Stella Maxwell. The two have been dating for months, and friends say their easy chemistry resembles that of a long-term relationship. Miley (and Stella) decided to put on a performance for the paps. TMZ has footage of the two engaged in a full-on makeout session. They stop, look at the cameras, and keep on going. Hands are roaming, the works.

Miley Cyrus can’t stop with her attention grabbing behavior. I keep saying that Miley has an important message underneath all the thirst. She’s so self-defeating. Anyway, Stella’s already starting to receive the classic “Who is Stella?”-type features. Those articles aren’t her fault. Stella isn’t planting cool-girl features like Kelly Rohrbach (Leonardo DiCaprio’s newest model). But is Stella thirsty too? A makeout session for the paparazzi says “definitely.”

So thirsty her tongue is still hanging out.

  2. meme says:

What’s next for Miley? Having sex in front of the paps? I find her behavior disgusting.

    • boredblond says:

I’m sure that’s on her to-do list..gender fluid?? She’s more talent-fluid..and it leaked out long ago..

    • mary simon says:

Tiresome and boring. Not buying any of it.

    • Kiyoshigirl says:

That would be the natural progression of things after the foreplay show they put on for the paps. Maybe she’s not gender fluid, bi, or anything other than an exhibitionist?

  3. Jules says:

Now, this is an example of honest to goodness attention seeking.

    Aaaannnd it’s yawn-worthy.

    • NYer says:

Yes. She needs to put her tongue back in her mouth, put some clothes on and fast-forward 20 years, when she wonders why no one takes her seriously.

    • Amide says:

Yep. Not buying it for a second.
I don’t buy her non stop antics as mirror to social commentary either.
Miley is 2 steps from being a Kardashian at this point IMO.

  4. Rockin Robin says:

    So over her crap.

  5. JENNA says:

She’s so thirsty. Even when she was dating Liam she acted famewhorish. She gets it from her parents.

  6. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

    She’s not thirsty she’s poly-gender-fluid-multi-explorative-un –

Ah, screw it. Nah she’s thirsty.

Also she uses people as pawns which is incredibly gross.

Sometimes I wonder how much she really believes of these serious issues and how much of it is to get attention and make herself (the once child star of a one-hit wonder) seem more interesting. It’s very Swifty except with ’causes’ rather than people.

  7. holly hobby says:

Really, at this point you have to wonder if this girl has any talent at all. Exhibitionist behavior for the sake of keeping your name out there? Why don’t you concentrate on your career Miley? Once she hits 30 Hollywood would dump her if all she has to offer are tabloid behavior with very little talent.

  8. Patricia says:

    Dying. Of. Thirst.

Why do I still have a soft spot for this girl? She’s like the annoying kid sister that you still have to love.

    • Jen43 says:

I have a soft spot for her too, probably because she was Hannah Montana and because I think she has a good heart. I just wish she would stop looking for negative attention.

  9. Freebunny says:

They totally did a show for the paps, looks not real.

  10. Kiki says:

I just think , this world of celebrity is just gone to the garbage dump. You have Rihanna, making an elicit video and B**** better have my money, and this song along with many of her when platinum make her an historic feat in the music industry, and all she has to is strip her clothes off, use violence and expletive to be a sucess. And please do not tell me that Quentin Tarantino use of the this crap video is,art. That is an injury to insult because QT has talent, Rihanna does not. With that being said, I am not faulting Rihanna for thisonly, Miley Cyrus is using this thirst to attract attention is going enough, it is just tiredness.

Look, let just call it like it is, but Beyonce, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus is no different than the one person who starts this off and this person has absolutely nothing to get Famous. These pop stars and models who are now actress are doing the same thing lkike KIM KARDASHIAN?

    • JENNA says:

You can add Perry and GaGa too. They all try to copy Madonna: trying to shock people because their music is so bland and they don’t have much talent. The difference between someone like them and other artists is that their image and sound is carefully crafted in an office by marketing people.

      • Kiki says:

@jenna, I actually forgot about those two, but my point is all of this crap of music and the rest of the entertaining world is going to garbage. And you can call me old, but I miss 90’s music, from Alanis Morrisett, Goo Goo Dolls and my girl Lauryn Hill, i am not saying that you can’t get them back p, but we should have good music that we can call music. Which by the way, when is Adele coming back with a new album. She is good music after the Late Great Amy Winehouse.

    • Blackcat says:

Totally agree. I abhor most of the tactics employed by the aforementioned “artists.”

  11. Nothing says:

There is no chemistry there…what…so…ever. Totally awkward and THIRSTY

  12. Taylor says:

In the words of Nene, “The thirst is real.”

  13. Original T.C. says:

Like I said in the Cara D. bisexuality post, Miley’s new gender fluity and girlfriend reeks of her usual publicity stunts. Just like her exposing/ blinding us with her nudity every chance she gets or bringing “homeless” and biracial dated to events or her MTV dancing antics. Everything she does is for attention.

  14. MSat says:

    Experimenting with drugs: check.
    Experimenting with sexuality: check.
    Armpit hair: check.
Making out with girls to get attention: check.

Miley is your basic college girl, just with more money. And less college.

It’s amusing how “original” she thinks she is with all this. I did all of this crap in 1991, and so did all of my friends.

    NEXT.

    • edith says:

so it was ok in the 90s when you did it and now it’s not? that doesnt make any sense.

  15. QQ says:

A Viking Boat full of Chilled Gatorade aint enough for this one

  16. Maya Memsaab says:

I haven’t seen the footage, so I may be wrong, but this reeks of doing the whole ‘hot lesbians performing for the hetero male gaze’ thing’ – at least that’s how the media will portray the whole thing.

  17. InvaderTak says:

Ugh. Eff. Off. That is all.

  18. Mia4S says:

Didn’t she used to be a singer or something?

  19. Colette says:

Miley is no different than Madonna.Madonna has been an attention whore for over 30 years

  20. Mash says:

It bothers me way more than it should how much Miley and Stella look alike. Its really weird…

    • Blackwood says:

It bothers me too. I’ve seen a lot of couples (same sex and opposite sex) that look alike so much that they are regularly mistaken for siblings or even twins, and for some reason it never fails to creep me out. I admit the first thing I think is, “are you so into yourself that you are basically trying to date the next best thing?”, but whatever floats their boats, I guess.

    • Otaku Fairy says:

Same (artificial) hair color and same eye color, and skin tone, but the set of their faces is definitely different.

  21. kri says:

Miley is the most parched possum ever.

  22. Lisa says:

    Okay.

  23. phlyfiremama says:

I find it mildly amusing, but don’t care enough to be even mildly annoyed. Get it girl!!

  24. Me too says:

There is really great music being made still. It just isn’t the mainstream poptart stuff. Katy Perry’s music is truly awful. TRULY.

  25. sal says:

    Stunt Queer.

  26. Otaku Fairy says:

Miley was showy and open with her heterosexual relationships too (public make-outs and a dick cake pic) so I don’t think it makes sense to expect her to suddenly do a complete 180 and tone it down now that she’s with a woman. Some people are attention-seekers regardless of sexual orientation. It doesn’t make her attraction to women false any more than her showiness in heterosexual relationships made her attraction to those guys false. To each her own. Straight celebrity couples say and do showy stuff like this too without their sexual orientation being seen as fake.

    • Original T.C. says:

Hmm, many of us thought her heterosexual relationships, especially her “engagement” to mini-Thor wasn’t legit either. Pretty much most of what Miley has done since she broke loose from Hannah Motana has been viewed skeptically because over and over she pulls attention getting stunts. This has nothing to do with her new found sexuality and everything to do with Miley’s history. I wish people would do some research on past Miley Celebitchy stories to see that she has always been side-eyed instead of thinking this is new and we are all gay/bisexual haters or something. I’m not going to stop criticizing her for her fake regardless of what sexual orientation she is going by. Fake is fake. I especially offended by her bringing that sexually open, biracial guy as her show-n-tell to prove how legit she is. What are the chances she stays interested in him as a human being and friend for longer than a few months. It’s cruel.

      • Otaku Fairy says:

I don’t think it’s about a ‘hatred’ of bisexuals (although I do think bisexual erasure plays a role. There is a notable difference in responses to celebrities who come out as or are suspected to be gay vs. responses to female celebrities who come out as bisexual.)

Every celebrity out there who has a twitter or instagram, does photoshoots, takes selfies, does interviews, does music videos, poses on red carpets, poses with other celebrities calls the paps (or makes sure they’re prepared in a place where paps are likely to be) or promotes any sort of product is an attention-seeker. Every last one of them. Where would they be if they weren’t? Part of the problem is that people automatically assume that someone can be an attention-seeker OR have an opinion/feeling about something, but not both. It’s a strange way of thinking- that a person can’t be an attention-seeker and still think things like “Hey, I really think people should be free to love who they love, have safety in this world, and be who they are regardless of gender or sexual orientation and still have equal rights.”

I think image plays a role too in how a female celebrity doing something like this is judged. If Emma Watson, Lorde, or Selena Gomez founded the Happy Hippie Organization and they took someone who was of the demographic they’re trying to help to a public event, people wouldn’t rush to condemn it as fake and cruel. But any time someone like Miley, Madonna, or Beyoncé tries to take a stand for anything remotely like this, it’s dismissed. That’s not the case everywhere though. It depends on the mindset of whatever audience we’re talking about. For example, on Jezebel, where the commenters were mostly people who legitimately do not care whether or not a woman covers up or tries to present as ‘classy’, almost nobody had a hard time accepting it- even the people who agree that Miley is a fool.

  27. Josefa says:

Miley’s thirsty as hell but I don’t think she’s trying to hide anything or act like she’s otherwise. She’s aware she lives on attention and that’s her schtick. Yeah it got old. But at least she’s not pretentious about her crap like Gaga or Madonna are.
