Here are some photos of Prince Harry, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge today in London. They attended the Service of Hope at Westminster Abbey, a service in honor of the victims of the Parliament terrorist attack on March 22. The service is multi-faith, with a Catholic Cardinal, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Chief Rabbi and two senior Imams all joining together to help London heal in prayer. I like when an effort is made to be truly multi-faith, and it’s especially necessary in increasingly pluralistic Western democracies. That being said, I feel like William and Kate were probably forced into doing this, especially considering neither of them could be bothered to attend the Commonwealth Day church service, which was just a few days before the terrorist attack.
For today’s service, Kate repeated a Missoni coat. I remembered this, probably because she just wore it last year. And I remembered it because I didn’t hate it. She wore this in France last year for a commemoration ceremony in remembrance of World War I. Kate attended that event with William and Harry too. It’s a good coat because the shades of grey give her “somber vibes,” and she probably didn’t want to wear all-black like it was a funeral. I’m fine with this. I also appreciate that her hair is back and that her hat/fascinator isn’t too large.
William was in charge of laying a wreath, and apparently he, Harry and Kate will meet with some of the victims of the terrorist attack after the service.

All I can see is William’s comb-over…
All I can see is that Kate’s jowls are back.
I thought the same as soon as I saw her. Why do they come and go? Does she do something to get rid of them? She is awfully young to have such drooping in her face. I think it is because of drastic weight loss – I lost 30 pounds from last January, and my face near my mouth drooped more. I put 5 pounds back on (drats!) but my face does look better, fuller. And I can still lose 15 pounds and not be absurdly thin. But I think my face would look horrible if I did lose that much more.
All I can see is the line of blusher on Kate. She really needs to rethink the placement, color and amount of blush she uses, it really not flattering.
God yes, It’s so bad. Just shave it all off man…. Or get plugs.
Nah I’m not prepared to start applauding just because these two twerps turn up and do WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE (sorry but they make me shouty think sgt Major shouty) the coats nice though
Seconded.. pair of workshy twits.
I feel sorry for Wills and Harry, the hair genes are not strong with them.
Yes unfair when you consider Diana had beautiful hair.
All the Churchill Spencers have lots of hair. Poor Will and Harry indeed.
Baldness comes from the mother’s side of the family. In other words, from the Spencer men. I looked it up because both my boys 36 and 31 are going bald, and I have tons of hair. So I don’t think it’s a Windsor thing. It’s always the mother’s bloody fault!
Good point, Diana had really thick hair and her two sisters and brother all still do in their senior years.
Diana’s dad, the late Earl Spencer, was bald as an egg by the end.
If you want to know what Workshy might look like in his dotage, look at pics of his maternal grandfather.
William needs to lean into the baldness. Just shave it all off. Love the fit and style of the coat. Colors are nice, print is cool. But the material looks cheap to me.
William should grow a beard, it would offset the baldness.
When he grew a beard I don’t think it suited him but a goatee? Maybe
He looks good in hats. Hats for men! Yay!
David Cross has a joke about how bad men grow beards so that you’ll think they just put their head on upside down.
It’s a normal nice coat, nothing special, but I guess very expensive nonetheless.
..”I feel W&K were probably forced into this…” that is such a nasty meanspirited thing to write..so much of London pulled together after those death & terrible injuries..show biz folk dont know humanity when they see it….
Kaiser is writing about two people who skipped out on attending multiple similar events in the past few years, including a 10th anniversary service for the 32 killed in London terror attacks in 2005. Given their past behavior, it stands to reason that they only put this on their schedule because of pressure/PR.
Look, we’ve got a “W&K” -apologist here! Well, HEY-YA, if we wouldn’t have to witness these two no goods dodging work at every turn, we would be less suspicious of their newly discovered humanity.
She ruined a 110-year-old royal tradition when she decided the Irish Guards shouldn’t ‘expect’ her to hand out shamrocks every year. She’s an arrogant cow.
Totally agree
Lady D do we really know it was Kate alone who made that decision? I feel she’s always following whatever William wants. She really should have left the UK after the break up of 2007 then returned and kept her location private. She’s been manipulated her entire life. It’s sad.
I don’t think she’s under his thumb as others do. I think she wants a royal WAG lifestyle and that’s what she puts her energy in to. She’s not longing to work more but being held back by Wm or the Palace. She has no desire to work, otherwise she’d be perfectly on-point and engaged at the few things she does.
Neither of them want to work, neither of them want the expectation that they show up regularly, so they both pull stunts like this.
My first thought was we haven’t seen Kate in dark hose in a long time. Remember she went through a long phase of nude shoes so she always wore neutral hose.
The coat is appropriate and she wore her hair up thank you.
I agree – I am surprised to say it but I think in this outfit (for once) she looks elegant and occasion-appropriate. The hair is nice, everything coordinates and she is not wearing her usual naff shoes. Then you look at the Marchesa and go “why?” (not the dress necessarily but the styling all round)….
I don’t consider this a somber coat, the pattern is too showy to be considered somber IMO. Her husband is wearing a blue suit. She has multiple dark blue coats or coat dresses she could have worn to blend in. When she wore this coat in France, she was surrounded by people in all black. She stood out and drew attention, just as I suspect she wanted to do.
Kate is always about the attention. Look at the bright pink coat she wore to the 9/11 memorial. She dresses to make sure the attention is on her. Girl has always coveted media attention and praise.
I’m just pleased that Will is NOT wearing the god awful maroon colored tie that he ALWAYS wears with the same navy suit. He’s wearing a black because somber
That is his regimental tie. If he is attending events that have a military aspect to them, it is the correct tie to wear. Ditto all military/ ex military personnel.
Kate always looks like she’s somewhere else with her mind.
Just a correction, Kaiser – it was the Dean of Westminster who led the service, not the Archbishop of Canterbury.
It was a lovely service and I liked it that not only were there multi-faith readings from religious leaders but also that the police readings were done by Christian, Muslim and Sikh officers. However, I’ll repeat my earlier moan that Normal Bill STILL can’t do a two-minute reading with any panache whatsoever.
And the cellist made me cry!
I’m curious what the black dress she has on underneath the coat looks like. Actually I’m always curious as to what dress she has on because she forever wears her coats like dresses.
It’s probably just a full slip. It can get warm inside churches.
Warm inside churches?????
Not in the UK it can’t.
Not in the UK – most churches are large very old stone buildings that don’t even get warm on a hot day.
Since she has shown us many times in the last few years that she has forgotten what slips are? I think it is a black dress.
I thought St. Paul’s cathedral was quite stuffy when I walked through it during a damp day May 1993.
I know stone buildings can remain rather chilly but in some cases it can get rather warm closer to the altar in various old churches where highhat lights and other lights are often installed to keep up with latest technology.
I love Missoni. I think the coat and hat are perfect for a somber occasion.
Watching a replay now. Nice to see the 3 of them attending. Kate looks very appropriate. Why doesn’t she wear her hair up more often? She looks so much more sleek and well groomed when all those curls aren’t flying around. Thoughts going out to all those affected.
Agree. I like her whole look. She needs to wear her hair up more often, it’s flattering.
The length of her heels bother me for some reason. You are going dinner party or club, woman. Not the event to show off a sexy leg look.
Yeah that bugs me too. With rare exceptions, Kate has two speeds: stiletto heels or the stripper shoes with evening gowns. I guess Kate thinks it makes her hot and relevant.
It would be nice to see her in a low, conservative heels or flat shoes for memorials.
I don’t think I have ever seen her in a low heel or a flat heel. It’s always ridiculously high heels or wedges.
She wears heels to make herself look taller than she is, esp next to William who is tall. She’s only 5′ 7 ish.
The fascinator looks a bit frou frou for a memorial service. It is reminiscent of what Beatrice wore to their wedding and while being a bit silly for a wedding is one thing, doing it for a memorial service seems off. Kate probably just saw black and thought it was ok, but a plainer hat would fit the occasion a bit better.
I just don’t get the point of fascinators in general. Be a proper hat or be nothing.
Otherwise, I think it’s great that this was an inter-faith memorial service. We need to build more bridges, not walls.
Diana wore some great hats. I don’t know, I think younger generations aren’t into hats, and wear fascinators instead. Has Camilla ever worn a fascinator? I don’t think so but I’m not sure.
It’s rare, but Camilla has.

I’m not sure how to classify this concoction worn to Zara’s wedding.

Im with you. I prefer hats, I think fascinators make the wearer look odd…
Camilla looks great in those fascinators – she can pull those off!
Great pics, Lak! Thanks!!
Camilla can rock a hat, a fascinator, cause she has a sense of humor and knows that they are over the top! You can sense it from her devilish smile when she is all blinged out!
I really like her. Too bad Kate doesn’t have 1/10 of her personality, warmth or work ethic. Sad!
To me that fascinator looks like an iron frying pan with some twisted overcooked grey bacon in it. It is the colour.
I’d get a hair transplant if I were him. Plenty of ppl doing it this days do there’s no stigma.
She must be sad she couldn’t buy more new clothes for this occasion.
She looked very appropriate for the occassion. That is all.
She looks appropriate enough.
I’m so confused by how her face varies in photo set to photo set–or I guess event to event. Is it photoshop? I was just noting those pics of her from last night/yesterday she looked ten years younger and showing a little bit of pre-marriage Kate personality (I feel like her loss of soul happened some time after the Canadian tour circa 2012/2013. )
Adele Dazeem, it was when the reality set in, it’s strange how that happens!!
I think its a mix of photoshop, light and make up. You see the real her in natural light such as daylight, the photo’s from last night were her under flash lights/stage lights plus while she’s back to the racoon eyes makeup the rest of her makeup is not as severe as it used to be.
As for photoshop, if the press are feeling generous they photoshop the life out of her if not, they publish the raw photo’s – which they have been doing a lot of lately.
If I were a Londoner, would I feel comforted by their presence at this event? Probably not.
I don’t think it’s for comfort, exactly, but rather to give dignity to the courage of the participants and for a public show of British solidarity among the people of all classes and all faiths. This is their job.
Two events in a row for Katie Keen. She will be exhausted. I’m sure their presence was a great comfort – not.
However I liked her outfit and it was appropriate for the occasion. No maniacal facial expressions either for a change
The bar is set so low for them it’s practically a ditch.
A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead walk into a bar.
You’d think one of them would have ducked.😇
I’m sorry, but I think of that joke when I see the word bar.
It looks like somebody wrapped a pice from a sonograph around her.
And she finally got the dark colours right: sombre event = serious colours.
She looks better when she’s without her husband…
I don’t think the coat is somber. It’s a very nice coat, but not really appropriate.
Plus, I think she would have looked better with darker hose. The near see-through black looks more “night out” and cheap than anything else.
She would have looked spot on if she just went for solid black.
Actually that is an interesting point, as when I first saw them I thought ‘I wonder if they are stockings”
I think she looks very nice although how high can a heel go ? that has to be the highest she has worn. A least they paid respects to those in this awful tragedy.
I think that coat is ugly.
I have a pair of heels that high, black and I can’t walk for the life of me in them. When I tried those at the store I walked just fine but after at home, nope. I keep them for some hypothetical ceremony, who knows. When I see her walk around in super high heels I feel envy. Do you think she has blisters from them? Does she walk long distances??? How can I walk like a lady without bending me knees???
She is definitely wrecking her feet with those sky high heels .I know in 2012 the daily mail did a story on how rough her feet were looking when she took of her show at an event around the time of the Olympics. She had what look like blisters on some of her toes. You could Google the article.
