Back in September, Jay-Z announced that the upcoming TIDAL concert in Brooklyn would be a massive fundraiser for the many victims of natural disasters. At the time, I think the idea was that the money would go towards Texas and Florida, both states having seen historic and devastating hurricanes and flooding. Jay-Z and Beyonce later added relief to Puerto Rico on their agenda, and this thing turned into a massive benefit concert featuring many artists. The benefit concert went down in Brooklyn last night.
While Beyonce did come out for the event, she did not perform. Jay even joked about that on stage. I do sort of wonder why she didn’t perform though? Granted, she just had the babies earlier this year and she’s not ready to undertake a tour schedule or dance her ass off while she’s performing. But surely she could have just stood there and sung one or two songs? She did not. But she came out anyway, and she wore this gorgeous emerald-colored Walter Mendez gown. She looks amazing.

Cardi’s outfit reminds me of something I would have worn to a school dance in the early 80’s. color, fabric, style…all of it.
Willow Smith looks great…funky, quirky and age appropriate…her outfit looks like something I would have worn to school in the early 80s.

Boy the dress code for this was obviously left a bit vague! Beyonce looks ready for the Golden Globes, Willow looks ready for a Seventeen photo shoot, Lin-Manuel looks ready to catch a movie at the multiplex on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and Iggy looks….yeah I’ll just leave that alone.

Mia4s, your comment made me giggle and nod in agreement. The fabric on Beyoncé’s dress looks really cheap. Hate the dress but love the colour. Iggy looks as if she utilised the painter’s tape to embellish her outfit. The mint mini is nice, and LMM looks comfy, but then, I’d likely turn up to anything in an outfit similar to Ms Smith, because 1: I know nothing about fashion and 2: I hate dressing up.

Her body clearly has not recovered yet and it’s more likely her hormones are doing a number on her which is to be expected considering she carried 2 babies this time and she’s in her mid-30s! You would think this would make people happy but no it must be something else, something unnatural. Let ha breathe.

And I think her lips are already a bit smaller. They’re not as plump as during the pregnancy and she has naturally fuller lips anyway. Again compare when she’s reached her target weight/performance weight not when she’s still soft all over…

That being said I think I like it with this dress much more just because of the contrast (which screams Christmasy, but then again I’ve been listening to carols since August so obviously I’m ready 😂). come on. Woman had twins less than 6 months ago. I didn’t look like myself for the whole first year post-partum, and I had just one baby. My friends commented that they now know how fillers would look on my face after that first year.

Let’s say she did randomly plump her lips while still lactating and it’s not due to the residual post partum water retention/weight gain/hormone changes of carrying twins.
Why would she do that?
Could it be because – in this speculative hypothetical – it was because she’d been made to feel unnatractive during pregnancy? Nevermind who or what could have made an attractive young woman like herself feel that way.
But by all means gloat about something as if it’s some bizarre victory because another woman felt or was made to feel insecure for a moment.

Willow is ethereal. Bey in that hue is divine, her lips look like uhh…lips, I don’t understand the noise over them? Don’t like the hair, looks like a JLO wig. As for the ears. How do people wear hub caps on their ears?! I once bought a set of rhodonite earrings that are so beautiful but they sit in a drawer because they give me Spock ears, like they feel like fishing weights lol.

I think Beyonce looks gorgeous. I am not seeing the lip fillers or breast job. I am seeing a pretty lady that looks a little tired and is nursing. I love her earrings. I agree Iggy just looks sad. Willow is so darn cute. She has her Dad’s eyes. I like her purse. Cardi’s outfit is cute. I think it looks Summery. Since Summer won’t leave I would go with it too, especially at a hot concert.
