Pete Davidson and his pregnant girlfriend Elsie Hewitt made their red carpet debut

A couple of weeks ago, Pete Davidson and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, announced that they were expecting their first child together. The announcement came via Elsie’s Instagram, where she posted a bunch of pictures, including a sonogram, with the cheeky caption, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.” Talk about getting straight to the point.

Pete and Elsie have been together for approximately five or six months and were first papped together on vacation in Palm Beach. Now, we can add another first to their credit reel. This past weekend, Pete and Elsie made their red carpet debut at the premiere for Pete’s new movie, Pickup. Elsie wore a black dress that showed her brand new baby bump.

Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt made their first red carpet appearance since the actress’ pregnancy reveal.

The 29-year-old debuted her baby bump at the “Pickup” premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend. The mom-to-be stunned in a tight black dress and a matching pair of heels at Sunday’s event. She wore her hair down in loose curls.

Hewitt and Davidson, who sported a brown tracksuit and sneakers, also made sure to pack on the PDA while posing for pictures together.

During the premiere, the “Saturday Night Live” alum, 31, told “Extra” that fatherhood is “the most exciting thing ever.”

The actor gushed, “I don’t even really have the words. … I feel like I’m finally in a place where I’m ready for it. I’m glad it’s happening now, for sure.”

He noted that his co-star Eddie Murphy gave “the best advice,” which is that he has “no advice because you can’t really tell anybody how to raise their own kid.”

Hewitt was previously linked to Jason Sudeikis and Benny Blanco, while Davidson’s star-studded dating history includes Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale and more A-listers.

Elsie definitely wears pregnancy well, I’ll give her that. She was glowing and looked like she’s merely expecting a food baby. I’m in the camp that they got accidentally pregnant within weeks of dating, so I bet she’s about four(ish)-months along and is right around that 16-18 week mark. Pete has been through so much, but it really seems like he’s sober, happy, and grounded lately. I think he’s going to be a good, present dad, and I hope that this child is going to be a stabilizing force in his life moving forward. That said, I found his answer about getting “no advice” from Eddie Murphy to be funny because, let’s face it, that is such a man’s answer.

I hadn’t heard about Pickup, so I looked into it a little bit. It’s a heist/action comedy with a huge cast! Beyond Murphy and Pete, it stars Keke Palmer, Eva Longoria, Marshawn Lynch, and Andrew Dice Clay. It drops on Prime on August 6. I like action movies, so I may check it out.

I would not believe that’s Pete Davidson except you telling us it is! What a change.

Happy for all — recognizing you have issues & attending to them will go a long way to bring a good dad.

Well, I hope this works. They look good together. She’s a real beauty but in a low-key natural way, unlike some of the glammed-up stars he’s dated, and he looks settled and very happy with her.

“They got accidentally pregnant” . At the ages of 29 and 31,no pregnancy should be a accident. They’re both old enough to make responsible decisions. Birth control has been around for a long time.

  4. Emily says:

Pete really does look so much healthier. Happy for him. He has a tendency to rush into things but I believe he has always wanted to be a dad.

  5. Meggie says:

Pete looks great. Happy and healthy. I’m happy for him and mom-to-be. He grew up missing his Dad so he’ll probably be a very doting father.
