Im not confident he is right this time either. People may just not go to the polls and don’t underestimate Trumps obsession with stopping voting altogether. He means it when he says he doesn’t think we need midterms. Ans if he can prevent them he will . Im also unconvinced by the average adults memory span…
I hope he’s correct but I’ll believe it when I see it. Aside from possible interference, people voted for Trump last time so who’s to say they won’t again. I hope I’m wrong and these are midterms to which he is not on the ticket. I just don’t have much faith in anything at this point. But I’m always hopeful my cynicism will be disproven.
So will he keep voting for Trump’s nominees and legislation? Of course he will.
Is that why Trump and his goons secretly changed the postmark procedures on New Year’s Eve? In the past, if you put a voting ballot in the mail on the same day as voting, it was postmarked immediately. Now the mail can sit around for over a day and it doesn’t have to be postmarked immediately. This is Trump trying to have all those ballots (which he believes are votes for Democrats) disqualified. Remember the time he had his henchmen removing mailboxes from places, for God’s sake? He is an enemy of democracy and a sneaky bastard.
I’m hopeful they’ll at least lose the House, especially when it comes to healthcare. I spent 4 hours in the ER last month (heart issues). The bill came this morning and, no lie, it’s $26k!! I have UHC and they covered everything except about $1300. I can hardly express how grateful I am to have coverage through my employer and I feel for the many, many people that aren’t so lucky.
As a non-american I really wish that Cancun Cruz is right. Although November is so far away that the stupid idiots who voted for MAGA fascists several times already will happily do so again even if they say they are done with them at the moment.
I never believed Trump won the election fairly and it was rigged. Elon Musk pretty much said in so many words he bought the election for him. Plus many people did not vote so there you go that’s how the scum got in. I will never believe it was legit.
