Paris Fashion Week is in full swing and many celebrities have flown out to attend a few shows, and probably pick out their gowns for the Oscars or Actor Awards (formerly SAGs). While Nicole Kidman isn’t involved in this year’s awards cycle, she’s been nepotizing her daughter Sunday into the fashion/modeling world. Sunday is in Paris too and she’s been walking in a few of the runways. Absolutely no disrespect to Sunday – who seems like a nice, well-adjusted teenager, all things considered – but I strongly suspect that there’s a quid pro quo going on with Nicole, Sunday and PFW. As in, “we’ll hire Sunday for our runway if Nicole makes some big appearances at PFW.” It’s working.
So, Nicole turned up to the Chanel show on Tuesday. No surprise, as Nicole is now one of Chanel’s house ambassadors (as of last fall). This was Matthieu Blazy’s debut collection for Chanel, because 2025 saw a complete creative-director overhaul across nearly every major label/atelier. As for Nic’s look… “she’s insane for that” and it’s just Nicole Kidman in Chanel. Her feathered dress is from the Chanel Métiers d’Art 2026 collection. Look at her shoes!! Apparently, she was seated front row, next to Anna Wintour. I’m also including photos of some of the other celebrities there, including Dua Lipa (I totally love her ensemble), Charlotte Casiraghi (so pretty, but it looks like she’s wearing orthopedic shoes), Tilda Swinton trying to tamp down her alien energy and Margaret Qualley in a surprisingly straight-forward black cocktail dress. ASAP Rocky was also there.

LMAO I was coming here to ask, “okay, is there something about this event that requires black and white shoes…or is it some sort of messaging about something…” but your comment answered all my qs.
Came here to note this as well.
All I can see are black and white shoes, which seem jarring w/each outfit, including Nicole’s. To me, non-fashionista that I am, Nicole’s shoes look too heavy for the dress.

I think the reaction to the actual show was a bit underwhelming. Lots of commentary on details and embellishments but I got the impression that the collection didn’t meet expectations. I like what most if these women are wearing though.

Dua Lipa’s outfit hurts my eyes, but her shoes are great.
Dua Lupa’s dress is too busy and overwhelming. It looks as if it would invoke an epileptic seizure it’s so busy. Her shoes are my favorite and I think they would have looked better with Nicole’s dress.

Nicole’s dress is gorgeous but the shoes detract. I like two toned, black and white shoes but think they only look good with simple black outfits where they’re the star of the show.

Every 2 tone shoe here does not pair well with the outfit. I have found the whole relaunch since last season totally underwhelming. Tilda got the best and most Chanel outfit of this bunch

I love all the looks put up here. I love Nicole’s shoes. I am mad for black and white. What the hell is Nicole putting her finger to her lips for? She isn’t a little girl. Yes, Dua’s outfit is to die for.
I will forever love a spectator pump but pairing them with these particular outfits is a peculiar choice, in my opinion. And I especially dislike the ones that have the high cut sides/enclose the foot? I don’t how to describe them but I’m talking about the ones Nicole and Charlotte are wearing. That style seems to be everywhere lately and to me they make the feet look like hooves.
