MAGA is claiming that as commander in chief, he gets to keep his damn hat on but that only applies to those in military or law enforcement uniform and it must be a uniform hat. I honestly believe that military service should be a prerequisite for the presidency. I realize that would have disqualified many great presidents, but hear me out. I believe that some form of military service (National Guard, Reserves, ROTC, something) should be required to be the Commander in Chief. Thus, if you have your sights set on that, find a way to get that service. I also believe that expertise in the Constitution should be required. Preferably law school, but someone could have decades of service that qualifies them for the presidency without a law degree, so there should be some kind of certification in Constitutional expertise that doesn’t require passing the Bar exam, just fluency in the Constitution.
Someone like Kamala Harris who served as the drug czar for the largest border state in the union could conceivably have received military style training as part of that role in preparation for eventual national service. Just spit balling, but no you can’t be the Commander in Chief if you are incapable of empathy for our service members.

He already called them suckers and losers and held a photo op on top of their graves, so wearing a hat while receiving remains is just par for the course. His wife already told us they don’t care, so why are folks shocked?
