Prince Andrew’s royal protection officers will be based out of a trailer in Sandringham

Less than a week ago, the Telegraph got a big exclusive about Prince Harry’s Home Office risk assessment and RAVEC’s attempt to wiggle their way out of providing ad hoc police protection to the Sussex family when they visit the UK. Unnamed sources wept into their stolen diamonds about the “cost” of providing police protection to such “unpopular” rogue royals, and those sources also attempted a really obvious sleight of hand about the “political risk” of giving the Sussexes protection. Keep that in mind when you think about how Prince Andrew’s royal protection officers had to pick him up from the police station twelve hours after he’d been arrested for passing along classified material in exchange for receiving sex-trafficked girls and women from Jeffrey Epstein. Not only that, but Andrew’s royal protection officers are making long-term plans to guard him within the Sandringham estate. This week, several trailers were spotted near Marsh Farm, which is where Andrew will eventually live. Everyone agrees that the trailers are for Andrew’s royal protection officers.

Prince Andrew has installed a large white mobile housing unit at his future home in internal exile on the Sandringham estate. The structure, delivered by lorry and positioned behind Marsh Farm in Wolferton, Norfolk, is reportedly intended to provide housing for his round-the-clock security team.

It is unclear why the five-bedroom farmhouse cannot be used when it clearly has the capacity to house a full complement of protection officers. The unit has been placed within a former stable block, apparently to keep it out of sight.

Removal vans were seen arriving earlier this week carrying books, paintings and other belongings, many still labelled with the identity of a man that no longer officially exists: “HRH office,” “HRH sitting room,” “HRH meeting room.” Abdrew has been legally stripped of his HRH title.

Workers have been fitting blinds and reinforcing the site with new security infrastructure, including a six-foot perimeter fence, CCTV and an extended no-fly zone. He is expected to relocate there from a temporary home of Wood Farm in April.

The move comes weeks after Andrew was arrested and released under investigation on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He left Aylsham police station on February 19 and subsequent searches were carried out at one of his former homes. Over the weekend, he was seen walking his dog near Marsh Farm, the first time he has been photographed since the arrest.

Former staffers have long painted a picture of Andrew as difficult to work for, telling The Royalist he is demanding, rude and arrogant.

The mobile unit may be a practical fix to a logistical problem, but the steps being taken to ensure Andrew is protected will likely annoy Prince Harry who is fighting to get security back. Charles has said he will pay for Andrew’s security privately, but Harry has been told he cannot pay for security. Huh? A decision on Harry’s security is expected soon, with politicians said to be unwilling to grant the King’s son the protection he seeks.

[From The Royalist Substack]

The thing is, I don’t even believe that King Charles pays for Andrew’s security privately. I think that was all smoke and mirrors, because Andrew just has the same level of royal protection as always and I feel certain that if there was some big change (like Charles hiring private security, or Charles paying out of pocket), we would have heard about it in the past year. As in, it would have been factored into the “separation agreement” Charles and Andrew worked out last fall, where Andrew “gave up” his royal titles but not really. The deal struck between the brothers didn’t include any security clause. You know why? Because Charles never pulled Andrew’s security and Andrew’s security will never be pulled in the future. Once again, the institution is making a huge fuss over every little thing Harry does or wants, all while the same institution coddles, enables and protects a human-trafficking predator who sold national secrets.

It is absolutely beyond disgusting that AMW still has rpo security, that’s 💯 % who chuck and Peggy have chosen and still choose to actively protect. It is unforgivable that the Monarchy is still aiding and abetting a man who raped trafficked children/women while selling out his country.

    • DK says:

Absolutely. I want protestors at their events to stop asking “when did you know?” and start asking “why are you still protecting him?” “Why are you still funding him?” etc.

  2. Brassy Rebel says:

Andrew always fails up. Charles is terrified of what he knows.

  3. Jais says:

So you think the tax-payers still pay for Andrew’s security? You would think that would cause a scandal. Or Charles pays for it, which yes, it’s a Huh? Bc the courts have said people can’t pay for their security, as they told Harry. How Andrew has security still and who is paying for it, Charles or the taxpayers, is a much bigger deal than whether he has a freaking hrh or not.

    • Sure says:

If only the “royal” reporters would investigate this puzzle. Sykes, Ship, anyone..?

      • Jais says:

You know what? This should be a new heckle. Along with what did you know, people should heckle why does Andrew still get security and who’s paying for it. Start making some yellow signs with those questions.

      • Becks1 says:

I’m impressed that Sykes went this far – ” Charles has said he will pay for Andrew’s security privately, but Harry has been told he cannot pay for security. Huh?”

because that points out the inconsistency in how these two are treated.

If these are not RPOs but instead are private security – which I don’t believe for a second – why isn’t Charles willing to provide this level of security for his son?

If these are RPOs and charles is somehow paying privately for them – why cant Harry do the same?

  4. Shiela Kerr says:

Those folks will rue the day they denied Prince Harry security in his own country. A country he fought for.

  5. Jenny says:

They make no effort to look charitable or make sense. They’re protecting a criminal while punishing Harry for marrying a POC. I will never understand these people. They’ve learned none of the lessons the Diana mess should have taught them. Long pass time to abolish these idiots!

    • Debbie says:

Yes, the Windsors are protecting a criminal in Andrew. But not just any criminal, setting aside the sex with minors thing, Andrew was arrested for releasing confidential information; so how can they — with a straight face — say that extending security to Harry would be a “political risk”?

That’s why, to me, these efforts Charles and William make to distance themselves from Andrew are doomed to fail because they are too late, too mild and meaningless. Transparent too.

    • TN Democrat says:

They learned the lessons from the Diana’s “accident” and are actively trying to replicate a similar scenerio for the Sussexes. The Windsor playbook to stage a tragedy and maintain plausible denial ability: Step 1. Manufacture bs excuses to deny appropriate security (remove HRH title from Diana and leak that she refused protection/doesn’t get it without HRH title; make up the lie that only “working royal” deserve security regardless of actual risk or profile) Step 2. Smear the target constantly in the press to manufacture security thr@#ts while denying proper security. NONE of the smear campaign against the Sussexes has been unintentional or accidental. The incident in New York a few years ago was particularly chilling.

  6. Amy Bee says:

So how is it ok for Andrew to have royal protection but not Harry?

  7. Aimee says:

There are MANY people behind the scenes that knew and saw all this activity. Why can’t they be questioned?? I’m talking about the protection officers, butlers, maids, staff, etc. You KNOW those people saw all kinds of crap.

  8. Look the whole world knows that they are protecting a pedo who gave up confidential information which to my understanding is treasonous but what they won’t do is give protection to a very charismatic and giving Prince who served in his countries military. They think this makes them look good?

    • TN Democrat says:

Andrew committed treason to participate in sex crimes. Harry married a beautiful beautiful mixed race woman he genuinely loved who happened to be prettier, more articulate and more fashionable than Keen. Who are the Windsors bending over backwards to protect and who are the Windsors bending over backwards to manufacture a catastrophic event? Lort. The people who used the royal contract with the rota to smear the Sussexes viciously for a decade to deflect from the Yorks and Wales are being allowed to intentionally endanger them and continue the smear that makes them unsafe. The RPOs are better off in a trailer and not sharing space with the hoarding pig, but lort that is a tacky, snobbish choice to stick them in a trailer. The Windsors don’t get it and never will.

    • Harla says:

      Well, yeah.

    • Hypocrisy says:

Yes the king of the country hiding his brother and having amw who is being investigated for treasonous crimes (which there is already evidence enough to prove) is a conflict of interest Chuck should have cut him off or stepped down from his position as king. (I believe the Queen should have also done this when she chose AMW over the country also.)

“Abdrew has been legally stripped of his HRH title.”
It’s my understanding this is not true. Do you think they inserted the typo so they cannot be called out on a lie?
He has agreed not to use his HRH title. He could say, it’s a staff’s mistake, not mine, if ever accused of not following the letter of his ‘agreement’. But posting an article with his name misspelt is some kind of choice.

    • Jais says:

I think Charles did write an LP that stripped him of the hrh.

      • abritdebbie says:

As it has not gone through parliament I do not believe it is official, or they would have already done it with Harry. It is just that previously know as Prince Andrew has agreed not to use it.

      • Becks1 says:

HRH removal does not need to go through parliament. the letters patent from charles are enough.

        the title is different.

  11. Jensa says:

For one thing, it’s Andrew that needs to be in a trailer – rather than his every whim catered for in a luxury residence he doesn’t pay for.
And why on earth does he need protection officers on a private estate?

    • CatGotMyTongue says:

He needs to be under the jail. Or in the Tower of London, whatever.

Not walking his dog, riding horses, and doing whatever it is he does with his teddy bear collection. He should be eating jail food, not palace food.

He sold out state secrets because he can’t get women who are not under duress to consent to have anything to do with him.

    • Christine says:

Seriously, they’ve basically told him to stay there all of the time, but he needs RPOs?

  12. QuiteContrary says:

An extended no-fly zone??? Why?? So Andrew can gallivant all around the property in privacy?

    Unreal.
